Can I turn phone on from fastboot without a power button? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I have an old Nexus 5 that doesn't turn on. Had the power button issue, the boot loop when on charge issue so I tried to fix the power button and ended up completely breaking it. Its still in the phone but its either broken off or part of it is, either way, its just not working regardless of the issue. so I been messing with it for a few hours and managed to get it turned on into fastboot mode and i cant select anything cause the power button isn't working lol. Is there a way to get it to boot up from this screen, or anyway possible at all to boot this thing up without the power button being functional? I guess I can't even turn it off either lol. I Attached a picture of fast boot mode just so its perfectly clear where im trying to boot from even though its not of the phone in question.
Thanks

Found a solution googling, yeah!

STUCK AT PHONE ! COMPUTER:
Plug in the USB cable.
Turn the phone on it’s side and use both thumbs to hold Vol Up and Vol Down
Press and hold the power button with your right index finger.
The screen will go black, continue holding.
The screen will come back on, you’ll see the same Phone to Computer icon
Continue holding, the screen will go black
The screen will come back on, you should see "Vibrant" release the power button and you it should go into Downloading
* Mine never said Vibrant, I just released power on black screen

Bricked my phone HTC one m7

Happy new years everyone.
So I've had my phone rooted since May 2013 when I first bought it and no problems since. However when I woke up today I noticed the keyboard wouldn't show in my browsers nor when I would send text messages. So I thought the restarting would fix the issue. That's when I realized the phone didn't turn on again. The screen is black. Any fixes
If you can do this i will be able to unbrick your phone for you
Try and power on your device holding down power and vol - for about 1 min
if you see a screen like this
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I can unbrick your device
Also try holding your phone under a bright light and holding power button to see if capacative buttons start blinking if they do i can also unbrick your device
plug your device into your computer and see what it shows as it might show as QHUSUSB_DLOAD if it does i may be able to unbrick it aswell
If you can get to bootloader screen (attached image) or get buttons to flash then pm me and i will unbrick it

Do you guys have OEM Unlock on dev mode?

Hello everybody,
Just got the phone yday so i still have to create my pefect setup....
In the meantime, what we learned by Oppo is that their System is closed, and will be very difficult to unlock the bootloader and then root.
When I enabled the dev options I'm seeing:
OEM Unlock(allow unlock of bootloader) look at the screenshot.
Can this bring us to somewhere?
I will wait for more experienced user feedback.
Thanks

it does nothing currently
adb reboot bootloader will only reboot the phone
vol up + power cannot boot the phone into recovery mode
so far, only thing works is the qualcomm flash mode, however, there is no leak of complete firmware just yet...
If you Google other oppo recovery steps you'll find there is a recovery...

I'm trying to install eos on my Samsung s9+ but things are not going so well this is harder than I thought. So I turned all settings on that is needed, than I turn of my phone and hold the Bixby, power and volume down button. I than get this screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
, than I clicked volumz up and if I remember the phone turned off and than i pushed brixby, power & volume up I got into this screen:
, I clicked wiped data, than the phone restarted and did stuck on boot logo.I than disconnected the cable from the computer and it started up. I don't know whats wrong. Please help
My pictures are not showing.
@Hoeist
Did you use Easy Installer
to flash /e/OS?
Yes. On the meanwhile I discovered what's wrong.
so instead of booting to twrp (winteam), as explained in the setup,it boots in the standard recovery.
I'll try it again by first installing winteam. But what I'm wondering, the latest version of eos is oreo. My phone is android 10. Will it give an error or worse if I flash a oreo zip?
I'm net to jailbreaking phones so many things I don't know.

force reboot holding volume down and power button until it turns off, then with the cable connected to the pc hold the key combination to enter download mode.
