No version of Tomtom for Booroondooks 5.1.1 Rom - MTCB Software Development

Hi all,
I just installed the latest Booroondook Rom with Lollipop on my Joying 3888. Almost everything works. When I try to install Tomtom Go the Playstore will tell me there is no version for my system available?! Tomtom Go should run with anything after 4.0. Does anyone see the same problem (and maybe has a solution?! )?

I got me the Tomtom Apk from Apkmirror.com . After installation Tomtom is not connecting to the internet. Is it a long serial number again? I am trying to find a tool to change it...
Update:
I didn´t find a tool to change the S/N without Xposed (which is not yet available for the Rom). Any ideas?

Tried latest dsa version. Same problems.

RECOMMENDATION: The most convenient way to work - with your PC via ADB terminal-Ruth rights
We find and download an archive Xposed Installer for SDK22 and ARM architecture
Unpack the archive on your computer
Create a folder in the SU / system / lib / lib-orig and / system / lib / lib-xposed
Copy the folder in / system / lib / lib-orig folder / system / lib the following files (full-time)
libart-compiler.so
libart-disassembler.so
libart.so
libsigchain.so
Copy the folder in / system / lib / lib-xposed from the unpacked archive files Xposed following (modified)
libart-compiler.so
libart-disassembler.so
libart.so
libsigchain.so
libxposed_art.so
Copy the folder / system / lib / lib-xposed in the folder / system / lib file libxposed_art.so
The ADB terminal go to the folder / system / lib: cd / system / lib
Give the command: cp ./lib-xposed/libart.so ./
... And look at the screen recorder
You should see the start logo, which will be replaced after 2-3 minutes a blank screen with the message "Application Optimization X of XX"
If the meter is optimized application runs very fast, it means that we were not lucky, and this version of Xposed We most likely will not fit
If at the end of the optimization run applications climbed error, it means that we are definitely not lucky
Return to the place of the regular file libart.so command: cp ./lib-orig/libart.so ./
Again we observe the starting logo and then optimize counter
At this time, the counter should be practiced at a normal rate, and upon its completion should download the launcher interface
In this experiment with this version of Xposed completed
If necessary, check the other version of Xposed repeat the experiment in the above sequence
And here is official Xposed for LP and MM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
So you may try... And please share results. Successful Xposed installation procedure would be of great usefulness for everyone around.

I have just found out that my USB CDMA Stick doesn´t work with 5.1.1. It shows the right Icon with signal strength and connectivity. But it does not transfer data. So even if Tomtom would work, there would be no traffic. So I guess I will have to revert to 4.4.4 until the 5.1.1 gets more mature.

Did you try using the PPP widget? That was the only way I was able to get mine to work

Good morning,
to start my kitchen, I download the original VIBEROM image file, redhookbay-ota-VIBEROM_V1.0_1418_DEV_K900.zip but if I extract it on the "IN" folder I haven't the .img packages to mount (e.g. the system folder is already unpacked):
Also, after that, I get only the system.img file but in other release I used before, e.g. the one for the VIVO, I had the way to pack directly the image to flash. Here which one is the next step?
Thank you,

redhookbay-ota-VIBEROM_V1.0_1418_DEV_K900.zip - this is ordinary zip file, K900 kitchen is not working with OTA zip archives. To start working with kitchen you need to put in the /in/ folder only system.img, system.img.gz, or any INB file (to unpack it). Only like this.

[G850F][How to]Deodexing stock ROM 5.0.2

Remember: Backup first! Be rooted! Have busybox installed! (We will create a recovery flashable zip which updater-script uses busybox commands)
To deodex your current device state follow the steps below:
Make sure you have adb and your device drivers installed on your computer (how to: installing and using adb).
Open command line and pull /system/app, /system/priv-app and /system/framework from phone via adb to your computer.
Code:
adb pull /system/app app
adb pull /system/priv-app priv-app
adb pull /system/framework framework
This will generate the folders "app", "priv-app" and "framework" containing the pulled files in the current directory.
Generate a list containing the folders with "arm"-folders which have to be deleted later in the phone (not the "lib/arm"-folders!!). Do this by opening terminal and navigate to the folder containing your previously pulled folders "app", "priv-app" and "framework" and type
Code:
dir /s /a:d /b arm | find /v "\lib\arm" > loglist.txt
There now should be a textfile containing all paths to the "arm"-folders. We'll need it later...but the textfile should look like:
Code:
<Directory you pulled your files to>\priv-app\3DTourViewer_HD_M2\arm
<Directory you pulled your files to>\priv-app\BackupRestoreConfirmation\arm
<Directory you pulled your files to>\priv-app\CloudAgent\arm
<Directory you pulled your files to>\priv-app\CSC\arm
....
Install Java (if you don't already have) and de-odex the pulled files with this tool.
Put the deodexed files into the folders /system/app, /system/priv-app and /system/framework in the attached zip.
Edit the zips' updater-script (META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script) according to the previously generated folder list. Take the textfile generated in 3. and replace
all \ with /
the path <Directory you pulled your files to> (see above example) in the textfile with "/system
It then should look like:
Code:
"/system/priv-app/3DTourViewer_HD_M2/arm
"/system/priv-app/BackupRestoreConfirmation/arm
"/system/priv-app/CloudAgent/arm
"/system/priv-app/CSC/arm
....
Then replace line end characters with ", (remember to remove the very last comma in the line or to insert a very last " in the line in case the last line doesn't contain line end character(s)) to get a comma-separated list of your folders:
Code:
"/system/priv-app/3DTourViewer_HD_M2/arm","...","/system/priv-app/BackupRestoreConfirmation/arm"
Modify the 'delete-recursive' entries in the updater-script according to your list and save it (do neither modify the encoding of the file nor the line end characters! Has to be "LF"! )
Boot into recovery.
Clear cache and dalvik-cache.
Flash zip.
Reboot (in my case it took some minutes).
I recommend using Notepad++ as editor because it's easy to use and much more powerful than standard windows editor.

Boot into recovery.
Clear cache and dalvik-cache.
Flash zip.
Reboot.
Attached: the zip-file body which has to be edited as you need it...do not touch the permission settings in the updater-script...

Yes, I used TWRP 2.8.1.1
I'm not sure but perhaps it will also work flashing with Flashify app.
Ok,now I can do it again. In this time i have modified the file updater-script with information of my textfile

Nothing, bootloop again..I give up. Nothing Xposed for me
Inviato dal mio SM-G850F utilizzando Tapatalk
The bootloop problem was a LF replaced by CRLF in the edited updater-script...
I followed your guide and everything went well. No bootloop.
But I got some popup notifications that google services and some google related stuff has stopped so I can not finish the initial setup.
Any clue what went wrong?
I assume your downloadable deodexed france 5.0.2 is for galaxy G850F ... Flashed it ... Bootloop ...

Which TWRP version do you use? I use 2.8.1.1 and everything works perfect.
If you don't succeed in flashing with e.g. other TWRP version you can take a zip (something you already flashed) that you know to work with your TWRP version. Delete everything in the zip EXCEPT the updater-binary and place the files you deodexed into the zip (keep the folder structure according to the attached zip in this thread) and place your updater script.
Do you have busybox installed?
Hi, just flashed stock russian firmware, set up google account and etc, flashed twrp 2.8.1.1. then russian zip to deodex but stuck on android logo, do I have to update gapps after setting account and then flash deodex zip?

Dear SHA_NDY,
So I followed all the steps in your tutorial.
So what I did was unzipped the zip file that you had attached, and then updated the directories with the deodexed files and updated the updater script as well. I then zipped the file back up and tried to flash it but it wouldnt flash for me.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you

Hi Shandy. Fixed it. What I did was just flashed arter97 deodex system image file via ODIN and works pretty well now. Just had to re root after that.
Thank you

I'll give it a try but don't recall any German from childhood .
If you're using notepad++ or notetab pro, then you can do a replace using regular expressions, so put your cursor at the top of the doc and for the "find" field, use this [\r\n]+ and click on 'use regular expressions' if it's there, (which is carriage return line feed, which is at the end (invisible) of each line). In the replace field, put ", (exactly), and then replace-all. If the entire document is now a single line, then it's good. Probably you have to remove the last comma manually.
So now you've edited your .txt file that you created in the OP steps, so now open the updater-script file in the .zip. There are 3 "delete-recursive" sections like delete-recursive("... "), one for apps, one for priv-apps and one for framework, so copy the first batch of modified text from the .txt file that are "apps" (up till the framework one), and paste them over the entire innards of the ("...") clause of the delete-recursive. Same for framework (only one entry), and same for priv-apps.
I'm just writing from memory so maybe I mispelled something. ANyway, when you're completed, make sure to overwrite updater-script in the .zip and you should be ready to either mess up your phone (back it up!) or make it xposed compat.
cheers.

xposed for zenfone 5 lollipop

This is my first thread.......today i am going to tell you how to install xposed framework on ZenFone 5 lollipop without pc.........all thankx shakalaka and revo89
This method is for the people who have root and does not have pc or custom recovery and unable to install xposed framework
This method would work for x86 lollipop devices but tested only on ZenFone 5, zenfone 6 (tested by @leonardo_Irion
Prerequisite:
Rooted ZenFone 5 lollipop
1.Download file
Xposed v67
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0lCHCvFdDJjMGFHSDF6TUNJM3M/view?usp=docslist_api
Xposed v78
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0lCHCvFdDJjaEhvTUJLVnlKUk0/view?usp=sharing
For Lollipop 5.1
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0lCHCvFdDJjRnJMSmhNOEU0azg/view?usp=sharing
2. Extract it
3. Install xposed installer from extracted folder
4. Copy all the files and folders except xposed installer to /data/local/tmp
5. Now open terminal emulator(its an app and can be downloaded from play store) on your phone and type the following commands
To install framework
su -c chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/installer
su -c /data/local/tmp/installer
Now reboot ur phone and open xposed installer and u can see that framework is installed
To uninstall framework
su -c chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/uninstaller
su -c /data/local/tmp/uninstaller
And restart ur phone and xposed framework is uninstalled
To update framework there is no need to uninstall previous one. Simply download newer version and follow from step 2
EDIT:If after installing xposed framework it shows that your framework is not acrive and inside framework section it shows is active then update xposed installer to v3alpha4(apk is uploaded below)
UPDATE: All links updated to latest one
Press thankx if I helped

This works on ZF 5 Lollipop with Intel® Atom™ Processor Z2560?
New version is out, so i've to download 'xposed-v65-sdk21-x86.zip' and 'XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha3.apk', and recreate the structure of your folder? Two questions:
-What're installre/unistaller files? Why i need them? Where i can find them? I can reuse them?
-In your folder, 'system' folder is the same of the one in 'xposed-sdk21-x86'?
And when new versions're out we've to do this again?

Installer and uninstaller files are needed to copy system folder in xposed sdk21 folder at its proper place
As this method is for the people who neither have access to pc nor custom recovery(flashing also needs pc) so installer and uninstaller files are needed

EDIT:install xposed installer alpha 4 and this error will be gone
Yep! Worked fine!
Now i would know which modules are secure, i'm scared about bootloop.
I know i can make nandroid backup but i've no custom recovery. I read about TWRP, i need to unlock bootloader for it? What do you suggest me?

[ROOT][PIE]Debloat script v1.0

TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK
Requirements:
- Windows computer
- OxygenOS stock firmware
- USB debugging enabled (Developer settings)
Instructions:
1. Download attached file below
2. Disable any Magisk Module installed and reboot (IMPORTANT STEP, DO NOT SKIP IT)
3. Unpack and run debloat-remove.bat
4. Enable Magisk Modules again
5. Done!
Notes:
- Root debloat script does not really remove the bloatwares folders, instead, it moves them to a backup folder, located at /system/_debloat_backup
- /system/_debloat_backup stores all "removed" apps folders, and before you manually delete this folder (if you want to), you have a chance to revert back the changes made by the script
- First boot may take a while
- This is an extreme debloat script. In case you need some of the removed files, you can find them in the backup folder mentioned above.
Changelog
v1.0 24/08/2019 Initial release
Special thanks

I think it works on Q also but never tried it.
You must have the USB debugging enabled and follow the instructions from the OP.

This isn't working for me...
Here's the (important part of the) output:
Code:
Detected: OnePlus7 (OnePlus7)
Firmware: PKQ1.190110.001
Copying files. . .
Debloating (backing up quite a few packages, standby a minute or two). . .
mount: '/oem' not in /proc/mounts
mount: '/dev/block/dm-0'->'/vendor': I/O error
mount: '/oem' not in /proc/mounts
Cleaning up. . .
Finished!
It says "cleaning up" but actually all the apps remain there (and it takes just a moment).
What could be causing that error? My firmware version is 9.5.7.GM57AA (and I'm not planning to update to Android 10).
Edit: I asked for help at @serajr's thread and so I decided to use the uninstall script he has over there (with the list of apps of this one, of course).

Debloat script for android Q is way different from original one (new folders in /system, new mount logic... - xperia devices ofc).
Head to the changelog of the v1.6 version in my thread (and also take a look at the new script itself).

Fire TV Stick 4K (mantis) Debloated Rom 6.2.7.1 93/6.2.7.7

Debloated Rom For The Fire TV Stick 4K 6.2.7.1 93/6.2.7.7 Revised
NOTE: Firmware versions after 6.2.7.7 will not work with this debloated rom. It's been a few months since I've updated this guide so be cautious with installing this. The latest fw implements an efuse to prevent downgrading.
IMPORTANT!!!
NEVER FLASH A STOCK ROM >= 6.2.8.0 AFTER FLASHING 6.2.8.1_r2 OR LATER! THIS WILL BLOW AN EFUSE.
Steps: Boot into TWRP from either the OTG cable or through an ADB command by enabling ADB debugging in My Fire TV, Developer Options. After booting into TWRP, make sure to wipe system, dalvik, and cache before flashing but before doing any of that take a backup of the system image, vendor image, boot and finally your data. After restoring remember Amazon will automatically have a verification to sign you in again because of security reasons.

Debloated Rom For Fire TV Stick 4K (6.2.7.1 93/6.2.7.7)
Contributors
Skel40
ROM OS Version: 6.2.7.7 Debloated Rom. Based off the Stock Image of 6.2.7.1/93. 6.2.7.7 Pre-rooted Image.
ROM Firmware Required: 6.2.7.7 and less, efuse is now blown in version 6.2.8.0
Version Information
6.2.7.7 Revised
Debloated Latest Rom with 146 applications left out of the 171 installed with this new version found in /system/priv-app. The folder lists the removed files along with built in build.prop tweaks. (New) I moved the rom to MEGA for easier access. A little bit more packages have been added back for stability reasons. The package, com.amazon.tv.turnstile is the problem when pairing remotes so the issue is fixed!
6.2.7.1 93
Debloated Rom with 126 applications in priv-app, same information as above. With Build.prop Tweaks and no boot animation on reboot. Read the Changelog in the 6.2.7.1 93 Rom below for more information in the Removed Files Folder.
Issues: Prime Video is still having problems downloading and installing an additional app after installing it from the Amazon Appstore. The incremental updates won't work on 6.2.7.1 93 because of attempting to update to 6.2.7.7
Current Stable Version: Revised Version 1.1 6.2.7.7
Stable Release Date: 2021-01-04 (6.2.7.7 revised)

Changelog of 6.2.7.1 93
With this downgraded release of 6.2.7.1 93, expect a few problems with several packages that I've removed for a reason:
Changelog of the 6.2.7.1 93 Debloated Version (FTVLaunchX/Accessibility features are working)
The apps that aren't working is solely because of the missing "System Components" update
* Amazon FreeTime won't work
* IMDB won't work (Use the Free section on the Fire TV Home UI for Free Movies/TV)
* News won't work
* Updating won't go through unless you choose to upgrade to the latest OS (Meaning it'll keep downloading 6.2.7.7 but will fail because of otacerts.zip being removed)
* Build.prop Tweaks are added to this rom, use a computer to transfer the prop file if you choose not to have the tweaks yourself.(My post can be found here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-tv/general/fire-tv-stick-4k-tweaks-root-keyboard-t4064269)
* Make a TWRP backup before flashing this rom of the following partitions: System Image, Boot, Data, and Vendor Image in case you want to go back however you want
* Most of things if not many of the packages and files are gone for maximum storage as possible (Removed Files can be found on the OP of this page)
* Please note that the mbcache.db file is a storage decreaser, use these commands for chmod 0 and make the file frozen with 0 MB
adb connect 192.168.x.x (change it to your IP)
adb shell
su
cd /data/data/com.amazon.tv.launcher/databases
rm mbcache.db*
touch mbcache.db
touch mbcache.db-shm
touch mbcache.db-wal
chmod 0 mbcache.db*
ls-all
To re-enable
adb connect 192.168.1.101 (change it to your IP)
adb shell
su
cd /data/data/com.amazon.tv.launcher/databases
rm mbcache.db*
touch mbcache.db
touch mbcache.db-shm
touch mbcache.db-wal
chmod 660 *.db
chmod 600 *.db-*
* All three files are zeros. Reboot and you'll now see more increased storage.
* Amazon Home will throw an error so enable Do Not Disturb in Settings
* Magisk is pre-installed, and the System is in RW mode.
* The Setup Wizard SHOULD go through no matter what. No need to worry about being stuck
Changelog of 6.2.7.7 Revised
* Magisk is pre-installed, and the System is also in RW mode.
*Priv-app, app, and media have been modified for debloating with a list of every file I've removed and being able to download the removed files as an apk without unzipping.
*Added Build tweaks except for the no boot animation
*Added packages back for stability
This guide is outdated but can still be flashed with this neat trick I learned from AFTVnews' guide about VoiceView found here:
How to Skip Software Updates during Initial Setup or Factory Reset on a Fire TV, Firestick, or Fire TV Cube
Since the latest software update for Fire TV devices is blocking the ability to use custom launchers, you may want to avoid updating a new or factory reset Fire TV.
www.aftvnews.com
I've pulled the 1.2 version to see what's wrong with the rom. Wip will be soon when I have time available
So far everything seems good .

Maybe Skel40 should add a boot.img (suitable to his rom backup), in order to avoid such problems.

Ok flashing the rom I posted on the other forum with this backup erases the modifications done for debloating due to the zip acting like its an update therefore re-adds the deleted apps I deleted myself!!!!! Try downloading the boot.emmc.win and boot.emmc.win.sha2 with the debloated rom you downloaded, and restore the boot.img along with the system image, vendor image. (Put the boot.emmc.win and boot.emmc.win.sha2 inside the ftvs4kdebloatedv1.0 folder IF downloaded already) Before doing this, wipe /system, data, and cache THEN restore the system image, vendor image, and boot! Get back to me as soon as possible!!!!

The first time I tried it, I was on an older rom version. When I used your backup it was stuck at the black fire tv screen. I was able to get into TWRP and flash your 6.2.7.1 rom you posted then used your backup and it worked great. I should have made that clear. Sorry for that. That being said, with the new files you listed can a person use your backup on another rom version " say 6.2.6.8 " or should it be on 6.2.7.1.? I have another 4k stick I might have time tomorrow to test the new method on.

Any solution to skip updating screen?
Yes you must decompile com.amazon.tv.oobe.apk
with APK Easy Tool.
!!!!! For Sure save a backup of this file !!!!
and customize NativePageProvider.smali file
Replace the Update command like
Lines
??????? 》with NOP
example attached , decompile it and compare the file to understand how it works
than compile with APK Easy Tool and replace the file over twrp.
------‐-----------'
Easy way delete com.amazon.tv.oobe.apk over twrp.
Pair remote with use of TV-CEC Remote.
An then do the Configuration.
But then it is not possible to enable adb over the settings.
Can be done in twrp maybe.
in TWRP type:
echo -n 'mtp,adb' > /data/property/persist.sys.usb.config
echo '' >> /system/build.prop
echo '# Enable ADB' >> /system/build.prop
echo 'persist.service.adb.enable=1' >> /system/build.prop
echo 'persist.service.debuggable=1' >> /system/build.prop
echo 'persist.sys.usb.config=mtp,adb' >> /system/build.prop
Reboot
Do it at your own Risk!!!!!
If it works, run.
adb shell settings put global setup_wizard_has_run 1
adb shell settings put secure user_setup_complete 1
adb shell settings put global device_provisioned 1
To set oobe succesfully run.
----‐---------
Own Risk you can try replace com.amazon.tv.oobe.apk with the attached file, run the Setup Wizard and After that copy back the backuped com.amazon.tv.oobe.apk to /system/priv-app/com.amazon.tv.oobe/com.amazon.tv.oobe.apk

Thanks for the info! I make a try on the weekend. Restrictions.. I don;t have Amazon Prime... Just for Kodi and HBO Go. And mirroring phone display..
That would be another question. In case of an software update, the process of decompile and patching will probably have to be restarted?
