Try porting lenovo a1000 twrp to your device.
Just Google it, and you will found twrp on needrom site.
For porting. Replace kernel zimage + dtimage and modify etc/recovery.rc and default.prop that's it.
It will work on your Xolo era x 4g. I am 100‰ sure..

I don't have my bootloader unlocked too do you think after porting ur recovery it's still gonna work becoz I hav already failed with some of recovery I tried. And how much big risk will be of having device bricked(hard) if I do anything wrong.

first root your device and then goto developer mode and unlock the bootloader, and then flash my twrp recovery, and there is no risk or hard brick. but don't forget to replace kernel and dt_image in recovery. Just do it bro. And one thing my twrp recovery have a bug. its showing everything yellow in place of blue, but expect this everything working.

No root

If I could root my phone I would have easily installed it. And don't tell me to use those software coz none of them worked. I mean it worked when I was using lollipop but once I upgrade to 6.0 I just doesn't.

This is the full FRF91 ROM customised for Vodafone Europe... probably has some +/- with respect to generic North American FRF91

You, J, and myself, have a SERIOUS flashing addiction, lol. I think we've tried just about every ROM release out there amongst the three of us. The Kangs, Rods, eViLs, Innovations, Enoms, Cyans, Modaccos, etc .. lol. Every last one.
I'll be talking to jlevy on gtalk, and next thing I know I'll get a message "New build" .. and immediately I drop what I'm doing, pending importance level, and get to downloading and flashing .. even middle of the night. *sigh* ..

Well, I'm quite a ROM addict and I've flashed this (except the hboot... it's got the new 17 hboot as opposed the the 12 hboot in the ATT/TMo ROM) and other than some VF specifics like APNs, i've not noticed any difference...

[Q] Problems connecting to Wifi

Hi All,
I've been having a few issues on my S3 with connecting to any wifi network for a while now. I've tried 3 different ROM's (Samsung JB, CM10, Codename Android) and countless modems (currently back on BULG2 all with no change in behaviour). I've also been messing with the build.prop but have restored to stock again (see below).
The issue is when I go to connect to any wifi, I see it on the list, press it then it instantly loses all but one bar of wifi signal and sits there saying "Connecting..." then flickers back to the "Secured with WPA/WPA2 (WPS available)" screen and retrys... This goes on in a loop.
Any ideas how I can fix this? I've exhausted my ideas and Google...
Many Thanks - Trev

Flash back to stock ICS via Odin and then reflash CM10 etc I had this problem and it worked for me
The stock ICS out of the box is LG8
And for future reference, never edit build.prop, That only makes more problems

Thanks - I was dreading that answer but I reverted to stock and re-upgraded to Codename, all working rather nicely now. I'll leave the build.prop alone now, I was just having a play to see how much trouble I could get in )

Search for "CREATE OWN ROM FOR ANY ANDROID DEVICE" in this forum, I cannot provide the link as I am a new user
Maybe you can make a ROM out of your working tablet to flash on the bricked one...
Good luck

Q&A for [Recovery][4.2.x][Allwinner A20]TWRP v2.6.3.0 Softwinners Wing-D9 (JayTech PA1051DA)
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [Recovery][4.2.x][Allwinner A20]TWRP v2.6.3.0 Softwinners Wing-D9 (JayTech PA1051DA). If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
A portable version of [4.2.x][Allwinner A20]TWRP v2.6.3.0 Softwinners Wing-D9
This is ridiculous, I don't want to start this sort of Q/A thread because of the idiotic 10 post rule.
Posting to the orig. thread later...

Yep, that command is responsible for the partitions. Should be fixed now.
But that shell/logs aren't working is not a good thing. Somehow they refuse to load. Probably the shared objects/libs are wrong as well.

Try the attached one. It has the D9 kernel again (but your drivers).
You might need to check how to flash that. The aliases (/dev/block/recovery) seem to be broken. If i check your last working twrp log it should be nandg.
Code:
busybox dd if=recovery.img of=/dev/block/nandg bs=1M
You flashed the wing-k70 recovery (not the wing-inet)?

If ADB works you can always flash it back. If not you have to fiddle with LiveSuite/PhoenixCard and you probably need a full dd image of your /system partition. But i never needed that so far and i cannot help you with that.

Thx, nice file size now...
Regarding both images.. I'm quite sure about picking the right touch drivers but i cannot make sure about additional dependencies or loading order. Its possible that it needs some additional tweaking. If anything is not working post both logs again.
Let's see if it runs...

Oh man. I´ve got firmware for restore via Phoenixsuite.
Was first i did, searching that for develloper Tab without danger..
I don´t know......whats your screen resolution?? And specs..
If it´s similar...can upload for you.
And them i explain you what to do for install this firmware by Phoenixsuite.
I think you´re on same situation like me at begin..
With the broken partitions, and without being able to recover...
The case is that today, I am very busy. But to the evening I will return to try it.

Probably but let's see if this works with all devices and android pie to be fully released
Has anyone else installed the rom yet, if you have is it working
Nice development. It's a good beginning.
We'll all take it from there.
Downloading to try out.
Seems the ROM is still Android 7.0. Although downloaded, it is important to but yet Flash.
