Xperia Z2 sd card problem - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi I have a Xperia z2 and I recently upgraded to the marshmallow update. And now the apps on the sd card won't open, they have a red sd card symbol next to them. What has happened to my sd card, can someone please help me thanks.

that is know problem of permissions SD card in MM, solution for that i guess in eXistenz Rom 3.5.0

Your Sd is still good, but the app permissions are broken. Try installing the apps again without uninstalling the damaged ones.

I am planning to upgrade to 64GB Microsdxc's (Sandisk 's)

Need Help! SD CARD Issue

I just bought a Z2 2 weeks ago, updated with the latest Lollipop update. And I found our that im having issue with moving data to my SD card. It was successful in moving data however when I tried to use them it seems that it was corrupted like apps - I cant open it, music - not able to play and pictures - cant show.
Ive rooted my phone already and tried sdfix however it seems its not working. How can I store/use my sd card. Btw I have a 64gb sd card. any recommendation to fix it.
and additional everytime I rebooted my Z2 my apps installed on sd card gets corrupted.
need help please..
That's odd.. I've never experienced that. Maybe you have a defective SD card? Have you tried copying files to and from your computer with the SD card?

[Q] Lollipop and SD card issues

Hey guys I have a problem with 32GB Transcend microSD card on my VF Smart Ultra 6, which has a pretty much clean version of Android 5.0.2. I used FAT32 first and then without any error or notification, the apps I moved to SD card just disappeared from the system. All other files on the card were perfectly accessible from the filemanager though. When browsing through the app list the apps were present, but had a grey icon with SD on it. I had to reboot phone for them to appear again. I formated the SD card with exFAT, which is working perfectly fine, however when I want to grant SD write permission to filemanager the SD card is not present in the list. Is this a bug, how can I fix this?
Thanks.

There ara some fixes for this problem, but you have to get root and custom recovery

Aww, that sucks , so this is a known bug. Any chance this might be fixed in 5.1? Vodafone promised to bring 5.1 to this phone.
I found a fix eventually. I reformated SD card to exFAT and then fixed write permissions for SD card by using root and SD Card Fix app. You cannot grant write permissions to exFAT without root for some reason (some dumb reason really). This problem never happened again on exFAT.

Sd card removed

Hi everyone, my Xperia C5 Ultra doesn't mounts the sd card. I've tried several ones but none of them was recognised by the phone, whenever I insert one a notification saying "SD card removed, insert a new one" is all what happens.
It has the latest version of Marshmallow, did a factory reset but still doesn't works. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
