Unable to sign into Google account in CM 13 - Verizon LG G3

I am new to XDA forums but I am experienced with flashing ROMs, etc. So today I downloaded CM 13 Nightlies (build 20160605) for my LG G3 Verizon VS985. I flashed both ROM via TWRP. Everything seemed to work great, even after booting up. After playing around with this new ROM for some time and then I tried to sign into my Google account. So I went to setting→accounts→add account→google account. The Google app seemed to open up pretty nice without crashing, I was taken to the screen with "Make the most out if your device. Sign into your Google account", etc. Then real thing begins here; when I press the 'Next' button in the bottom right of the screen , it is faded out. I can do nothing with that at the moment. Can anyone suggest me a way to fix this? Thanks in advance

Hi! Welcome to XDA!
It sounds like you do indeed have GAPPs flashed, is that correct? I don't play with non-stock ROMs much any more so I can't be much help, but I thought I'd confirm about GAPPs at least. Also, was the GAPPs package you flashed a common one that was recommended? In the past, the last times I did fool with CyanogenMod (probably a year ago), I used to use Tiny GAPPs Zero, which was essentially just the very basic required GAPPs since I like to install all the rest of the Google Apps from the Play Store.
One more stupid question. You are connected to the internet successfully, right?
It's always a possibility that the trouble lies within the nightly build of CM13, since some builds are apt to be more buggy than others. If they have a RC of CM13 (don't know if they do), I'd be tempted to use that instead as it might be more stable - if that's even the cause of trouble.

Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for your help. I realized that the CM13 version which I downloaded had a bug. Later on I updated CM13 and it was fixed

[Q] Help - issues with google account

Hello,
Recently I upgraded to cyanogenmod 11 and could not connect to Google Play Store, so after trying a lot of ways to fix this issue I decided to remove the google acount from my mobile and add it again, but every time i clicked on add a google acount it simply shuts down and nothing happens.
Sounds like you might not have used the right set of Gapps that were compatible with the version of CM11 you are using. Please share with us which phone, which update of CM11 (nightly version, snapshot, milestone, etc) and which Gapps you used.

Nice work, Tony! You guys here are in good hands!
Install went good, but like others I got no baseband. (it is all about "da base" band) I could not set cpu speeds in performance either.
No such luck, only boot loop. Keep fighting the good fight! @gimmeitorilltell
@gimmeitorilltell is there a way to access your version of the kernel source?

TBH, im not sure if im the only one that has this issue with all 4.4.4 roms but with all 4.4.4 roms I had wake issues where every time I press the power button, it had a delay issue, I literally had to keep pressing the power button for it to wake up. The 5.0 build seems to fix the issue.
Just wanted to put it out there lol.

Well kitkat roms definitely had wake issues with this device for sure so you're one in a million.. Lol It has been fixed in 5.0 for now and the biggest thing we fought was sleeping issues. The device always wanted to reboot every time you turned off the screen or when it timed out. I'm hoping those days stay behind us from now moving forward. So how's the camera now & did you dirty flash it? I'm gonna try the gapps you pointed out since I still don't have the playstore.
I had the Playstore in the last build using Banks minimal. I was able to d/l TiBu and restore my apps.

Yeah hope it doesnt do that again, it was a pain lol. Camera works fine , im having screen flickering issues. -_- . I hope theres a something on Xposed framework that can fix this issue. Dont wanna keep going to developers option and enabling hw overlays. Yeah its weird, you have to flash a "certain" gapps, a xda member pointed out this issue on the slimLP forum. im seeing a lot people with other devices are having issues with the gapps also. You should download the gapps and upload it to your AFH.
mobile data not working

[ROM][i605][lollipop/5.1.1][UNOFFICIAL]Dirty Unicorns v9.4(06/26/2015)

I was asked if I could build Dirty Unicorns v9 for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and I was bored, so here it is... Be aware... I don't own this particular device, so I can't test it myself, but I've had reports from others that it should work just fine. If anyone does run into issues... Hopefully y'all will be able to help each others out in solving them. Also, because I don't own the device, I'm not sure how often I'll update this build, but if the demand is there, I may keep up with it for a while. Finally, don't ask for change logs... You may be able to piece together the changes that may have happened between builds from my main build thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...nt/rom-dirty-unicorns-v9-012-28-2014-t2987096 or the Dirty Unicorns gerrit at http://gerrit.dirtyunicorns.com/#/q/status:merged,n,z but I'll likely not be posting a specific change log for this build. This is an unofficial build, and as such, is not the responsibility of Dirty Unicorns' devs, so if you do not post your issue here, you'll likely not receive proper assistance. In other words... Do not post issues in the Dirty Unicorns G+ group. So if after all this, you still wanna give this thing a try... Here you go...
Installation Instructions:
Download ROM here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=27329
Download GAPPS here: DU TBO GAPPS or BaNkS GAPPS
Reboot into recovery (The latest version of TWRP is recommended).
Full wipe: Wipe cache, dalvik, wipe data/factory reset, clean to install new rom, format system.
Flash ROM downloaded above.
Flash GAPPS downloaded above.
Reboot into system.
Let the system rest for a bit to connect to the cellular network and get everything squared away before initial setup.
A few reboots will more than likely be necessary to work out all the kinks.
Enjoy the lollipop sweetness.

If you mean the screen remains off after a decent length phone call, you'll need to hit the power button to turn on the screen. For whatever reason, the screen will power off as if you're not using your phone and doesn't power on by itself after the call. If you're having other issues with hanging up after the call, hopefully someone else will have some advice to help you.

So I was using DirecTVs phone number to make test calls and was unable to end the call or hang up. I had to reboot the phone for the call to end. I decided to use a different test number and everything works fine. There must be an issue with DirecTV s phone system. Great ROM, sorry for all the confusion.

So far i haven't hit any snags other than what we all know doesn't work right (cm12 bugs) and is related to CM12 base.
A little off topic, I think stock AOSP camera hinders the quality of this phones camera. I installed the stock camera apk that came on my One Plus one and it works great on your rom and this phone.

Anyone else have data issues with latest build? Just wanted to check before I reflash from clean slate.
I used Stock kernel, clean flash with wipe if both caches, system and data with TWRP 2850. No T.B. either.
Other than that one issue, it was running great and the theme engine is much smoother now as well.
Thank you so much for the build.
(Edited)
Figured it out... Had to go into settings/cellular networks/access point names and chose an option that was not my phone's norm and then hit the menu tab and chose default settings and reboot. Why I had to deliberately change that setting and then chose to go to default is beyond me but I now have full LTE with data. I am guessing that it is an isolated issue to just my phone though.
I am really liking this build.
(Edited)
Well i had to recover back to Pacman as my data just wouldn't stick. I'm not seeing any posts from anyone else with this issue so it has to be on my end. I will re-download the rom and try again to see if it was a bad download
"Chance Favors the Prepared"
Tested. Most things work great.
Unfortunately, TitaniumBackup is unable to restore applications, giving me an error stating that installation failed.
This is a deal-breaker for me, so I'm off to test the next ROM.

That's a negative. My understanding is the soak test is needed in the plus because of finger print scanner issues. I have the XT1625 and it runs great without the soak test. Flash the quark kernel too. Waaaaaay better benchmark results.

I just installed it. Definitely didn't need the soak test. VoLTE works too when I called my voicemail to check. No crash on the Gallery app either like I've seen reported. Were you trying to install the arm64 gapps? I could only install the arm gapps.
I updated to the last nightly build which seems to have fixed the gallery bug for me, but now the camera can't access the sdcard to save pictures or videos when the card is set as internal.
Running 12222016 as of this morning. Have been using it since it first hit the streets. Seems a little unstable. While it's running, it runs great. However, for no apparent reason it reboots my device. I can't seem to pinpoint the cause as it happens sporadically and randomly.
I noted that the blue light filter "sort of" works. It has to be manually activated. Tried the automatic route but it's hit or miss.

That would be because the "other ones" are for MM based ROM's and 2.0/2.2 are for Nougat.

I always install ROM boot it then go to browser and search Gapps it automatically finds the one I need then just download and reboot to recovery and install so I don't have any issues the Roms are all comparable for bothering devices but I think arm is different between devices if that helps anybody

Hi,
I bought a Moto G4 for Christmas. I'll receive it tomorrow, and so I'm looking for a good custom rom. I had the Moto G 2014 LTE (thea) running CM14.1. I notice that the last CM build available for athene is the 20161225, and I'd like to know if it's stable. Does it have an option to make volume buttons control media volume instead of ringtone, for instance ?
Thank you, 'n have a nice day !
Yo is cm 14.1 gonna get xposed
I installed the CM 14.1 12/25 nightly on a XT1625 motoG4 non-plus. Upon reboot, the OS asked me to input my password. It was unable to decrypt my data.
I had a pattern PIN, so I looked up the proper numeric sequence and entered it, and the OS told me "my password was correct but the data was corrupt" and suggested I wipe my phone.
I tried this several times with different passwords, and even with completely incorrect passwords it said it was correct but the data corrupt. So I had to wipe my data. After wiping data, nougat 7.1 came up fine.
Note I have a SDcard set as adaptable storage. My guess (and it is only a guess) is this is what screwed me over.
Has anyone been using this for a while? I know it's nightly, but just curious if it's mostly usable. Would like to get off MM and tired of waiting for Official Nougat

You can use the latest official version of CyanogenMod. So far I had neither bugs nor crashes. The last version is cm-14.1-20161225-NIGHTLY-athene.zip
Otherwise, you can also use the official soak test from Motorola. This is also based on Anroid 7.0

Thanks! I found the latest Nightly and also an updated LineageOS (replacement for Cyanogen since they've stopped) version, might try them both out. I was perusing the Soak Test and saw it doesn't work with XT1625 devices unfortunately. I have the XT1625 non-Amazon version with Republic Wireless. Saw someone posted earlier in this thread that Republic Wireless was working fine on CM 14.1 Nightly, so that gave me some incentive as well.

Will you report here? if so, consider this a subscription!
Used PA a few times in the past and it has always been one of the smoothest and best running roms for me, so i'm very interested!

The real problem about it is the updates... will it be supported continuously or just 1 month. Considering PA's track records I doubt they will be able to sustain it for long. But I still have my fingers crossed.. Can you please do me a favor and install the HDLR camera zip found in the themes and apps forum in n6p and check if it works? if it does I will be flashing PA right away.
Also @seangeezy122 please do check the kernel and grab a couple of screenies
Thx for the info & links, downloading
Just one question : are gapps included? or should I flash theme?

@chadouming cant wait till you get your hands on their source!
I'm kinda sad. I've downloaded the rom twice now, and I've been clean flashing it, but my Nexus 6P boots up and then shortly freezes at the setup screen and reboots. It does this continuously. I'm using the latest BeansGapps, if that helps.
EDIT: I flashed just the ROM without Gapps and it works. Maybe my BeansGapps are corrupt and need to be re-downloaded. I'll give it a try.
EDIT 2: Okay, this ROM doesn't like BeansGapps. It restarted once, but it's chugging along the setup process just fine now.
it is encrypted or not?

No issues with BeansGapps, worked fine from the get go.
So far so good, no issues at least. Will play around for the rest of the day and see how real world usage goes.

did you use the full or mini gapps package
Flashed the rom with openGapps stock package, working fine for the moment. Looks promising but lacks extra features that other roms such as pure and RR have like hold power for flashlight and down right clear all button.
The MD5 hash for the rom file is CE696A1C396864B23F40A37CF9A4C5D6 if anyone is wondering.

Ever since MM PA isnt really about the features but more on the smooth side of the UI and a small handpicked own festures. Thats why before on MM I used some xposed modules to incorporate those small features I miss. Though this lack of features shouldn't be a bother to minimalists like me.
Which gapps beans or banks or open?
And which versions for vendor n2g470?
And where's the official page... Google+?
