240Mhz constant SAFE overclocking. Follow the steps carefully.
Disclaimer : I'm not responsible if any damage is caused to your device if you don't follow the steps carefully. The next rom update(if lucky) will be having this feature right out of the box.
Instructions :
Download the following file from the link below and unzip.
Install omap_omapclock.cab to device memory.(not storage card). (also you should have Resco Explorer V8.0 or higher installed.)
Remove omapClock folder inside Omap folder program files after installation and past it inside /Program Files/ itself.(no sub folders).
Rename omapClock folder to OmapClock.
Finally OmapClock.exe should be in your /Program Files/OmapClock/ folder on your device.
Open File Explorer on your device and open Omapclock.exe. Set it to 240Mhz.(not more than that !).
ISSUE : Suspending the device at this point will cause the speed to be reset back to default. (we'll solve this in the steps below).
Open Resco Explorer and go to the /Program Files/OmapClock/ folder. Locate the OmapClock.exe file and hold the stylus on this file until menu pops. Choose “Copy”.
Now browse to \Windows\Startup then hold stylus in an empty area and when menu pops, choose paste shortcut.
Hold the stylus on the newly created OmapClock shortcut and choose Properties then click the Shortcut tab.
Target should be: “\Program Files\OmapClock\OmapClock.exe” –clock 240
Soft reset and test. Suspending the device will reset the device back to the default speed.
Now install DinarSoft MemMaid from my package u downloaded in step 1.
Open MemMaid and choose the Notification queue button/tab on the bottom (second from left) then click the ADD button.
For Program, click the browse button and browse to the shortcut you created in steps 9-10. The location of the shortcut is \Windows\Startup.
From the event dropdown choose “The device woke up”.
Click Add.
Soft reset and you are done. The Clock speed will remain at the specified speed you specified in step 11 even when the device comes out of suspend.

Ans.Yes it is.
Q. How to flash this ROM ?
Ans. Follow the GENE ROM Upgrading Guide properly and flash a ROM on xda-developers.
Q. i need a less RAM consuming ROM.which one should i download ?
Ans. the Lite Series are targeted to acheive maximum free RAM possible.download the Lite Series.
Q. while upgrading ROM in getting an error[300]/error[260].is this a problem in your ROM ?
Ans. No,this is not a ROM problem.these errors occur when you haven't synced your device properly or you are missing required drivers on your computer/laptop.before flashing a ROM, make sure you have synced your device properly.read the Guide properly,go through the explaination properly and then flash a ROM.
Q.My music stops or gets stuck when the screen is locked or turned off.
Ans. this will probably happen in windows media player and the Audio manager.Solution - see registry fix in Bugs and Fixes post.
Q.After a heavy usage,my phone goes low on memory.what should i do ?
Ans. Go to Advance Task Manager and delete/kill the unwanted processes/applications running on the background.Keep hibernating your phone everytime before you start an application and after exiting an application.
Q.Can i flash a W.M.6.1 ROM after flashing a W.M.6.5 or W.M.6.5.X ROM ?
Ans. Yes you can.only be carefull if you are flashing an official ROM.
Q.Im not able to go to bootloader mode.what should i do?
Ans. Read the Guide properly.
Q.Why are your ROMS called Ultimate Series?
Ans. Because they are made for Gene Ultimate Users.

Thanks to Sumit for providing us the Bug fixes.i have posted all the bug fixes from Sumit's W.M. 6.1 thread Here.i have omitted the additional steps for gene users to see all the bug fixes from my thread by directly providing them from Sumit's thread.
Problem Resolutions and FAQ:
------------------------
1. The Camera Applications shows little anomalies like number blinking at bottom of screen, hang if left direction key is pressed etc..?
Solution: Use the registry file in CameraFix.zip and incorporate it into your registry using some registry editor or the provided Task Manager 2 application provided in ROM.
2.How to configure Hotmail's Pop3 Access in default messaging application of Windows Mobile without using Windows Live?
Solution: Create a new email account as usual and use these details:
Step 1:
Email Address: Your email but dont use @hotmail.com, instead use something else like htmail.com or something like that. Please not that this is only necessary if your email address end in @hotmail.com. Other Windows Live users dont need to do this.
Password: Your Password.
Step 2:
Uncheck the checkbox : Try to get e-mail settings automatically from the Internet
Step 3:
Select "Internet E-Mail" as your service provider.
Step4:
Enter your name and an account name.
Step 5:
Incoming Mail Server: pop3.live.com
Account Type : POP3
Step 6:
Username : Your email address (full email including @hotmail.com or any other windows live address that you have. This time give it correctly)
Password: Your Password.
Step 7:
Outgoing (SMTP) mail Server: smtp.live.com
Check the box "Outgoing Server requires authentication" and "Use the same username and password for sending mail."
Click "Advance Server Settings". Check the boxes "Use SSL for Incoming Mail" and "Use SSL for outgoing mail". Select "The Internet" as Network connection and then click "Done."
Step 8:
Select the Automatic update interval you want or manual for no automatic mail checking.
Click Finish.
Now open the account in Messaging and click Menu>Tools>Options. Click the account name, click "Edit Account Setup" and change the email address to the real one.Click Next, Next untill Finish and then click ok to close the options menu.
Thats it. Hotmail will be accessible from messaging now.
3. ActiveSync Starts up Again and Again Automatically Even When the Phone is Not Connected to USB cable or Bluetooth
Solution: It happens for some strange reasons that i haven't been able to find but for now there is a workaround for it.
For Users who use Exchange server with ActiveSync will have no problem if they have set the update schedule to manual. Otherwise, if you are using the push mail feature of exchange, then ActiveSync will run all the time for syncing and that is very normal.
For User who dont use Exchanage server, they should create a fake server and then set the update schedule to manual to prevent ActiveSync from running on its own. Here are the steps for that.
First of all, configure ActiveSync with your PC if you want to sync with PC using the usual method. After that:
1. Open Activesync on your phone and from the menu choose Configure Server...
2. Enter any email address. Clear the checkbox titled "Attempt to detect Exchange Server Settings Automatically". Click Next.
3. In server address, enter localhost or anything else. Click next.
4. Enter any username, password and domain name. I mean random strings. Also check save password checkbox.
5. Clear all the checkboxes in the "Data you want to synchronize" list. Click Finish.
6. Open Menu>Schedule. Here set both the dropdown lists to "Manually" and clear both the checkboxes. Click OK and close ActiveSync.
Plus as an additional step, delete the unneeded notification for Active Sync. To do that :
1. Open DotFred's task manager (Task Manager 2) and go to the Notifications tab.
2. In "Notified Programs", search for repllog.exe. You will most probably find 3 entries for it.
3. Scroll horizontally and out of these 3 or what ever entries, find those which have the entry "AppRunAtTimeChange" or "AppRunAfterTimeChange". Delete these entries, using the third icon from left on the bottom toolbar.
ActiveSync wont give you any problems after this.
4. Audio Booster doesn't allows entering Equalizer settings and checking the equalizer checkbox + Missing Audiobooster Option in Audio Managers Menu
Solution: This is not a problem and happens with some versions of AudioBooster and Audio Manager, if their version numbers are different. To resolve it :-
Just start AudioManager, let it build its library a little and then play a song for minimum 5 seconds. After that start AudioBooster, adjust one of its sliders a little. Then soft reset your phone, and both the problems will be solved. What happens is, they create their respective registry settings on first start and after that everything is fine. In Original ROMs from HTC, since on first boot the Customization applications runs, it sets up the registry itself. But even with that, you have to reboot your device anyway.
5. Audio Manager and Windows Media Player stop playback if power button is pressed and phone enters suspend mode.
Solution: First of all, Thanks to Shaunak.it for finding the solution.
This problem occurs in some specific builds of gene. It can occur in old gene and new gene both. So here is what it is like:
Normally, If you press the power button while music is playing, Audio Manager and Windows Media Player stop playback. But this only happens when headset is not connected. If headset is connected, the playback wont stop.This is a standard behavior and not a problem. But on some p3400 and P3400i phones, the playback stops no-matter headset is connected or not. I was not able to find the solution for this problem as it was not happening with me. But a friend of ours from this forum, shaunak.it solved it as he was having this annoyance. Here's what you have to do:
Open the Task Manager Advanced. Click the down faced arrow to the right of the screen and select Regedit from the menu. Now in the folder tree on the upper half of the screen, Navigate to :
For AudioManager:
HKLM > Software > HTC > Audio Manager > Config
In the lower section, look for a value called ENTER_SUSPEND. If its there, double tap on it to edit it and enter 0 as new value. Otherwise, in an empty area in the same place, tap and hold for a while for a context menu to appear. Select New > Value. Select REG_DWORD as Value Type. In the name field, type ENTER_SUSPEND. Click the Set Data button and enter 1 as the value. Click Ok and then again Ok.
For Windows Media Player
HKLM > System > Current Control Set > Control > Power > State > Suspend. Again in the lower left corner look for a value named WAV, if its there, double tap to edit it and then enter 0 as its new value. Otherwise, in an empty area in the same place, tap and hold for a while for a context menu to appear. Select New > Value. Select REG_DWORD as Value Type. In the name field, type WAV. Click the Set Data button and enter 0 as the value. Click Ok and then again Ok.
Secondly, in the same way go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Microsoft > MediaPlayer >Preferences and create or modify the DWORD value
"UnattendedPlayback" and set it to 1.
I am attaching a .reg file to do this automatically. Just go to the Task Manager advance and on the registry tab click the first icon in the bottom icon bar and click Import.. and browse to this file and select it.
This will solve your problem.

just while using audio manager the ram reduces by 2mb and more by audio booster
its better to use s2p
and where is the s2u2 application?havent u added that?

Use IE, firefox for some strange reason will not allow to embed images in the post directly.

I removed the music widget cos it loads audio manager without pressing the play key..
does anybody tried the footprint widget..??
the manila doesnt start if u activate that!

5.1) Flashing device using Active Sync / Windows Mobile Device center (For the first time)
Install Hard-SPL to your device by following the instructions here.
This needs to be done to flash a ROM to your device which is not created from your provider (or HTC if you own a device with HTC branding).
If you get a white screen when running HardSPL, please read
this thread.
Search this forum for the ROM, you like to flash. Then download and, if needed, extract it.
Check, if your Radio-ROM matches the new ROM. If you don't find any information in the ROM's thread don't mind. You can update your Radio ROM later if you gain any problems.
Make sure, your devices battery status is NOT LESS than 50%.
Connect your device to your computer and wait until activesync/Windows Mobile Device Center recognizes it
Last chance to synchronize and/or backup files. All files and databases will be deleted after performing the next step!
Optional If you want to save your text messages and/or eMails, use a tool like
DotFred's PIM Backup.
Execute the .exe file you downloaded with the ROM. (If the ROM you downloaded only comes with an nbh file, download the CustomRUU for the Topaz HERE
.
Follow the instructions and DO NOT disconnect your device until flashing is finished.
Disconnect your device from your computer.
You need to delete the old activesync/Windows Mobile Device Center partnership, because it thinks, your device is not the same as before... and it is right ^^. Deleting an old partnership is only possible, if the device is not connected.
Optional If you want to change the name of your device, do that now by clicking Start > Settings > System > About > Device ID. Enter the new name of your device and click on Ok.
Connect your device to your computer, create a new partnership and synchronize. Then configure your device to your needs and if needed install additional software.
5.2) Flashing device using Active Sync (After the first time)
1. Download your preferred Rom from the Topaz Rom Development forum.
You may need to un zip / rar the file if the chef compressed it.2. Make sure, your devices battery status is NOT LESS than 50%.
3. Synchronize and/or backup needed files / PIM data / Contacts. All files and databases will be deleted after flashing the rom.
You may use PIM backup. SPB backup is NOT recommended.

4. Make sure, your devices battery status is NOT LESS than 50%.
5. REMOVE SIM and MicroSD CARDS!
Removing the SIM is optional, but removing the micro SD is a must.
If you want to be safe, however, remove the SIM.
6. Turn phone back on and wait until it syncs with your PC.
7. Run the CustomRUU.exe or other EXE file from the ROM’s Folder.
If there isn’t one included, download it HERE or in the attachments section of this post.
8. Follow the onscreen instructions and DO NOT disconnect your device until flashing is finished.
9. Disconnect your device from your computer.
10. Wait for the device to complete the customization procedure.
11. You may now turn off your device and replace SIM and microSD cards.
12. Turn phone back on and set up as required
5.3) Flashing device using Storage Card (Only if you have Hard-SPL)
1. Make sure your microSD is Formatted to fat32
You don't have to delete all files but it is safer if you do
2. Download your preferred Rom from the Topaz Rom Development forum
You may need to Un- zip / rar the file if the chef compressed it.
3. Make sure, your devices battery status is NOT LESS than 50%.
4. Go to the ROM's Folder and rename the .nbh file to TOPAIMG.nbh
This may have already been done for you.
5. Copy the TOPAIMG.nbh file to the root of your MicroSD Card
6. Insert MicroSD Card into the phone
7. Enter the bootloader. Instructions:
Power down the phone.
While holding down the VOLUME DOWN button, Power the phone back on.
Continue holding the VOLUME DOWN button until the TRI-Colored screen shows up. At that time, release the button
7. Follow the On Screen instructions to start the update
Press the power button to flash the ROM to the device.
8. After flash has completed, press the reset button with the stylus to reset the device.

Today, I present to you the ceFFM application, as a thank you to this forum that has always given me so much. It is a little personal project I am working on when I am not doing anything else. It mainly was suggested by a friend of mine who is not convinced of 'MioPocket' or comparable other shells for Windows® (Embedded) CE based Sat Nav units, this because of their not Windows® Embedded CE 6.0 fair implementation and their immense RAM hunger and/or missing finger-friendliness, as he said.

Abstract:
(i) What is ceFFM?
ceFFM is a free (as in "free speech" and also as in "free beer") absolute finger-friendly shell/menu ( at least I think so ) for Windows® CE (.NET) 5.0 (CE5) and/or Windows® Embedded CE (.NET) 6.0 (CE6) based Sat Nav touchscreen devices with an ARM™ processor equipped board . Hence I titled the project ceFFM. Its skin is based on opensource-ware 'CEMenu'. Its use is governed by GPL License. ceFFM is legal to use, as it consists 100% of freely-distributable content. It is NOT a replacement for any OEM navigation software. It is just a frontend from which you may among other things launch the navigation software that came with your device or that you purchase separately.
(ii) What are ceFFM's main features?
Basically ceFFM acts as an "unlock" for Sat Nav devices (AKA PNAs/AIOs) running either CE5 or CE6. Such devices almost always boot into the manufacturer's software with no way to exit it, meaning that you cannot run any other software; i.e. the device is "locked." Unlocking your device allows you to use it for far more than the manufacturer intended (ex. for music, movies, appointments, other navigation apps, etc.) and more like a PDA. Additionally ceFFM does something your Sat Nav already probably does on its own (launch applications), except that it adds the ability for you to customize your Sat Nav in more ways than you normally can, so that you can launch applications quicker and more easily. For example, ceFFM creates for you up to nine different 'desktops', giving you quick access to more applications than before.
(iii) What types of programs does ceFFM come with?
ceFFM comes with just nearly three dozens of applications recognized by me as usefull. See list "Featured Applications" below. Important: ceFFM does not come with iGo, GarminXT, TomTom, Destinator, Sygic, AutoSputnik, NDrive, Mireo, PolNav or any other commercial navigation software. Icons may be included for them, but not the programs, themselves (since they are not free). Note that ceFFM does NOT replace Microsoft's file-viewers and third-party's flash-player if these are inbuilt by OEM, but uses them.
(iiii) What devices does ceFFM run on?
Technically, ceFFM should run on any CE5 and/or CE6 based touchscreen device with an ARM™ processor equipped board, where unit's touchscreen has landscape orientation. ceFFM is NOT intended to be run on mobile devices based on Windows Mobile 5.0 and/or Windows Mobile 6.x, because those Windows Mobile based units' touchscreen has portrait orientation. ceFFM is not hard-coded to any particular brand or configuration, quite reverse. Note that every CE5 and/or CE6 based device is slightly different, though, and due to the great many brands and configurations that are out there, the ease of installation and the number of applications and features that actually work will vary.
(iiiii) What is ceFFM's memory footprint?
ceFFM respects Windows® (Embedded) CE is made for devices that have minimal memory. Hence it is designed to be resource-friendly. Its CPU and memory usage are low (ex. compared with MioPocket 4.0 Rel. 68 only scarcely an eighth).
(iiiiii) Does ceFFM install to SD/MMC/CF-card or to internal flash disk (Card-free)?
Both. You have the option of either. But recommended of course is flash disk installation (a certain gain in speed one may notice). Note: Current SD/MMC/CF-cards have more performance than internal memory anyway, the tradeoff is that you must either have a single card which is NEVER removed, or take care before removing it, be sure programs installed there are not running if you have to swap it out.
(iiiiiii) Can ceFFM brick my device?
In principle, from the concept, NO. It really does not hurt anything, it is considered to be exceptionally safe. This due to the fact ceFFM simply overlays device's default shell/menu which you re-gain access to if you exit ceFFM. The changes to CE's registry made by ceFFM affect unit's registry keys as following

(iiiiii) Does ceFFM have multi-lingual support?
NO. It comes only in English.
(iiiiiiii) Which is the programming language ceFFM is based on?
ceFFM is based on 'MortScript 4.3.b.15' , a macro type program (i.e. "hacker tool without a nifty interface").

ceFFM is free software which everyone can use free of charge, redistribute and change under the terms of the General Public License version 2.0 (GPL v2.0).
System Requirements:
a) A working CE5 and/or CE6 based Sat Nav touchscreen device with an ARM™ processor equipped board (compellingly display mode with either 480x272px or 800x480px screen-resolution, this because of ceFFM is designed to work solely in landscape mode with regards of fact that all PNA's/AIO's touchscreen has landscape orientation) with (optional) SD/MMC/CF-card slot and/or at least the possibility to establish an 'ActiveSync' connection with desktop PC / laptop to copy ceFFM to Sat Nav's internal storage device.
b) Library ole32.dll in \Windows (should be there by default)
Safety Notices:
a) Not all OEMs do provide any in-house method of unlocking their device. Any unlocking process for such a device can only come from software hacking sources as ceFFM. If you are afraid of damaging your device or voiding any warranties, do not unlock this device using ceFFM.
b) If your Sat Nav has a 'Password Protected Lock', i.e. a bootup password is set, remove this lock before installing ceFFM. The reason for this is that the password entry box appears off screen and you will have no way to enter the password any more if device became unlocked.
c) In case you decide to install ceFFM on SD/MMC/CF-card do NOT plug in your USB cable until ceFFM has installed and reset the device (otherwise, your SD/MMC/CF-card will dismount and ceFFM will not be able to access it during install).
d) These are the steps you in any case always first of all should do
1. Make sure you calibrate Sat Nav's screen.
2. In case you decide to install ceFFM on SD/MMC/CF-card that came with the Sat Nav, make a backup of the SD/MMC/CF-card before you use it.
IMHO it also is strongly recommended you have (before installing ceFFM) at least these four freeware utilities present at your destop PC / laptop, which allow you to manage your Sat Nav via a working 'ActiveSync' connection
a) CeRegEditor - registry editor.
b) CeRunApp - tool to remotely start an application (incl. copying it) on your Sat Nav from your desktop.
c) CeNotepad - a remote Windows CE text editor (a "Notepad" that can open text files on a connected device directly on the desktop).
d) CeRhost - the counterpart to CE's cerdisp
These utilities for your convenience I have packed into archive ceFFM-Win32-Tools. Link is provided below.
Installation:
Unpacked ceFFM needs ~200 MB free disk space.
1. Switch Sat Nav's USB-mode to 'Serial_Class' (AKA 'ActiveSync' mode)
2. Download and unpack the zip-archive ceFFM-X.X.X to your desktop PC/laptop (Do not extract it directly to your SD/MMC/CF-card, as that often produces errors or corrupted files). Hint: Use a download manager to be sure the download goes errorfree.
3. In unpacked folder ceFFM-X.X.X edit configuration file 'ceFFM.ini' according to your needs
4. Copy unpacked folder ceFFM-X.X.X somewhere to your Sat Nav's internal and/or external flashdrive - highest reommended of course there into the root ("<storage device>"). Owners of a Magellan may copy unpacked folder ceFFM-X.X.X to "\HDD\APP", owners of a Pioneer Avic may copy unpacked folder ceFFM-X.X.X to "\My Flash\APL2", owners of a YF International (Yuan Feng) may copy unpacked folder ceFFM-X.X.X to "\ResidentFlash2\YFAP30", etc.pp, there are no restrictions. Be warned: Copying unpacked ceFFM via 'ActiveSync' to Sat Nav's internal flash drive takes approx. 0.75 hours.
5. Ensure your device's battery is charged as 100% and/or the Sat Nav has a working external power supply. Note that ceFFM refuses its installation in case no external power supply is given if battery is charged less than 30% - reason: on some Sat Nav's you can watch the battery gauge go down 1% for every 10 seconds.
6. Finally on your Sat Nav run in folder "<storage device>\ceFFM-X.X.X" executable 'ceFFM.exe'. Hint: A lot of the current PNAs/AIOs have a real simple kludge for this. In the 'Settings' section there is a 'Choose navigation program path' option. You use this to point to 'ceFFM.exe' and run it. Also with many CE devices that I have come across, a script named 'shell.ini' does that. If 'shell.ini' is in root SD/MMC/CF-card, the script will be executed when you press navigation on the original screen menu. If 'shell.ini' is in Sat Nav's resident storage memory (ex. \ResidentFlash), and there is no SD/MMC/CF-card inserted, the script will be executed automatically on device power on. Note that the 'shell.ini' in root of SD/MMC/CF-card has priority over 'shell.ini' in resident flash memory. To start ceFFM contents of 'shell.ini' may look like \SDMMC\ceFFM-X.X.X\ceFFM.exe. Alternatively, if you can establish an 'ActiveSync' connection, you might use utility 'CeRunApp' from ceFFM's Win32-Tools mentioned above to remotely run 'ceFFM.exe' on SD/MMC/CF-card plugged in to Sat Nav device.
You should know that if OS's registry is of type file-based (as with most current CE6 devices) and if ceFFM runs for the first time and in ceFFM's configuration file 'ceFFM.ini' key 'BackupSystem' is set to 1, then a complete backup of Sat Nav's registry is made.
If ceFFM is successfully run for the first time, it registers itself in unit's registry as key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ceFFM; i.e. these entries are created:

Also, if in ceFFM's configuration file 'ceFFM.ini' key 'AutoStartCeFFMAtBootTime' is set to 1, ceFFM attempts to add itself to device's registry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\init key as the last startup application possible, thus it is started automatically when device boots, in registry these four entries additionally are created:

And, if ceFFM is installed on SD/MMC/CF-card, and if its 'AutoStartCeFFMAtBootTime' option is chosen, additionally in device's internal flashdrive a new folder ceFFM-X.X.X with size of max. 1.5 MB - depends on CE's version, will be created, which hosts a few files.
Depending on the amount of options enabled, installation may take 10 minutes.
During ceFFM's first installation the content of some its folders/files gets heavily changed, i.e. directories get removed, files' content get changed, .ZIP-files get extracted and then removed, etc.pp. So you only can use the pre-first-time-installation copy of ceFFM for another installation.
Notes:
a) If your device does not have an SD/MMC/CF-card slot, you probably need 'Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center Driver' (AKA 'ActiveSync'). It is available for Windows Vista / 7 both 32-bit and 64-bit. You get this driver here:
64-bit: drvupdate-amd64.exe
32-bit: drvupdate-x86.exe
b) The best way to format your SD/MMC memory card is using SD formatter 3.1. At time of this writing this is the latest version of SD formatter which specifically designed to format SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards. This is absolutely better than using your default operating system format utilities.
c) If installed to SD/MMC/CF-card, do not remove the SD/MMC/CF-card when ceFFM is open, or its folders/files may be damaged or the system may crash.
Updating/upgrading:
See above under Installation. Note that ceFFM tries to detect an earlier-version installation and if detected, deletes all non conformant folders/files created by the earlier version before installing the update/upgrade ceFFM-X.X.X takes place.
Customizing:
ceFFM is steered by its configuration file 'ceFFM.ini'. ceFFM reads this file each time it runs, hence you can change at any time ceFFM's run-options. If an option got changed, ceFFM re-configures itself (and system) on-the-fly.
Uninstallation:
In ceFFM's configuration file 'ceFFM.ini' simply set Uninstall to 1 and re-run ceFFM. This will completely remove the existing installation.
Note that versions prior to 0.3.0 have no explicit uninstall mechanism/routine. You simply delete folder ceFMM-X.X.X on Sat Nav's drive it was installed on. In case of a hive-based registry you additionally manually by means of a registry editor remove entries

if these are present, otherwise you simply hard-reset the Sat Nav unit. Important note concerning Sat Nav units with file-based registries: Changes made to Sat Nav's registry by a bundled application, means if such one was started from within ceFFM's skin, will NOT be undone, because this would be an impossible venture.
Depending on the amount of options enabled, uninstallation may take 5 minutes.

None of these applications requires Microsoft .NET CF and/or OpenNETCF SDF, they all are written and compiled as native, not as managed code! Furthermore, none of the files is compressed (AKA 'UPXed'). Note that this assembly only is a personal proposal (these applications are the ones I like most). You might change it at any time. An additional set of applications that run well under both CE5 and CE6 I have compiled as ceFFM-Extensions, link is provided below.
Modifying Skin:
ceFFM does not know of any sophisticated programmatical skin changer/manager, means you must manually edit the appropriate skin-files by yourself. This because of ceFFM is intended to be most simplistic as possible. Sorry for this. But it should be an easy, at least I think so. All skin related stuff is stored in XML based data format. The files concerned are: all in folder '<install drive>\ceFFM-X.X.X' with extension '.cemenu' (except file 'dummy.cemenu' which you never should touch) and all shortcuts in '<install drive>\ceFFM-X.X.X\programs' with extension '.lnk'. Please read file 'CeMenu-ReadMe' for more information.

Virus Information:
You get a warning from your antivirus software during downloading and unpacking ceFFM?
1. Ensure you have the original files
The ceFFM files do not contain any virus or other "add-on" when they are build. The Mediafire servers used for the distribution are known to be reliable, they are used without problem by thousands of software. Against you must be careful if you have downloaded ceFFM on another site not authorized by me. To be sure that ceFFM zip-file has not been modified by a third party you can check the md5sum with the md5sum notice shown above besides the download link.
If you need a MD5 Checksum calculator, I recommend small freeware MD5 Checksum Calculator 0.1.7.138.
2. False detection
The detection of a virus in a file is not an exact science. It may happen that the antivirus software find a resemblance to a known virus and gives an alert.

Feel free to report bugs, make improvement suggestions, etc.pp. It would also help that when you write about problems, to tell me what device are you using and what CE version it is running. Is this means that the Registry Init keys first launch the original nav program, and only then ceFFM? Isn't that a little memory consuming?

Should be no problem. Most CE6 AIOs present a start menu (i.e. shell), do not immediately start any application (ex. navigation program) per se. This initial menu usually has only a few KB, so this is certainly negligible.

There have been 95 downloads but only 2 responses here after it has been applied to devices. Could someone let me know if he/she likes it on his/her device or not, how to improve it or what? I am willing to spend further efforts into this project, publish in the near future a final version here ...
I just found out about this today, I will try it on jvc NT3HDT.
Is there any kind of precaution i should be aware of before running it.
Also do you have any script that can back up/dump NAV original software before any tweaking?

ceFFM doesn't hurt any thing. Promised. ceFFM simply waits default start-up has finished, then it presents to you an extra shell which you like, or not. If you exit ceFFM you are returned to your JVC's default shell.

Your unit's original software isn't affected at all. Hence there isn't the need to backup anything. But of course you can backup the JVC's registry by means of CeRegEditor or any other tool, if you can establish a so-called ActiveSync-connection between your JVC and desktop PC/Laptop.

If you can establish a so-called ActiveSync-connection between your JVC and desktop PC/Laptop ( of course USB-cable is necessary ), then you can start ceFFM.exe on the SD-card inserted manually, using herefore a Win32 freeware tool as for example "EveryWAN Personal Edition" or "My Mobiler", or any other tool you like.
I will research Activesync and see if my HU can establish that connection.
I might need to pick up a M-M usb cable from the store.

Is there a way to change the path of the IGO icon to point to my navigation software?
Right now I have to exit ceFFM and then change the path in Wince to boot into IGO.

a) folder <installdrive>\ceFFM\icons\extern an icon you created - a template is to be found in folder <installdrive>\ceFFM\icons (BlankSR.png)
b) folder <installdrive>\ceFFM\programs a shortcut-file to the external application, you might create with Win32 freeware nueShortcutMaker - ActiveSync connection recommended
c) the menu's page you want to extend (ex. Favorites => script-file <installdrive>\ceFFM\favorites.cmenu) an additional entry like this

Because ceFFM is installed on a SD card in my car unit, I was able to bring the card in the house and use my desktop to make the changes.
It took me a few trys but I figured it out.
I deleted your icon in the programs folder and created a new one with the correct path using nueShortcutMaker.
Everything works fine now

Starting / Killing applications before ceFFM starts
A feature not evident at first glance. How to activate it?
ceFMM gets started via "<flashdrive>\ceFFMLaunch.exe" ( simply a renamed TULL.exe - by Dack ) which reads an .INI-file to find out what commands to perform. This .INI-file is the place you can stop and/or start applications prior ceFFM gets started. For example
1) to start the RAM-cleaner that comes with ceFFM, you would add to "<flashdrive>\ceFFMLaunch.ini" a line such as

2) to stop AppXXX that runs by default on your Sat Nav, but you think it is senseless to have this application running (which besides is RAM and CPU wasting), you would add to "<flashdrive>\ceFFMLaunch.ini" a line such as

Important: NEVER KILL SAT NAV's DEFAULT SHELL, this because if exiting ceFFM you land in the nirwana. IMO a good candidate for killing is "DW.exe" (Dr.Watson watchdog application) which is present at many CE 6.0 based units.

Due to the fact that my Honor 7 is broken now and a repair is to expensive I had to make the decision to stop further development regarding H7cROM (with a tear in my eye) => EOL !
this is my first custom ROM that I am publishing here. It's called H7cROM (Honor 7 configurable ROM) and 0.13b(eta) is the current version.
Please take the time to read the whole post so that you get an impression about H7cROM.
Background / Intention
Currently there are several very good custom ROMs avaiable for the H7 device (e. g. H7T by T-Ryder, Yoda-ROM by Ryrzy, MoDaCo-ROM by PaulOBrien, MM+D by WBT). All authors have spend a lot of time and brain work into their ROMs so that I have to be reverent looking to their ROMs.
In order to avoid any kind of misunderstanding I have to emphasize in advance that I don't want to critisize the ROM cookers - it's exactly the opposite because I could take a lot of ideas and approaches and all ROM variants were a great inspiration for me. Because of that I have to say THANK YOU.
But unfortunately all those ROM variants have one weakness and that's the "take it or leave it" attitude. With each of those ROMs the user gets a firmware with a fixed mixture of apps, patches and settings. Only Yoda-ROM and MM+D have some options to choose - but in my opinion that's only a very small number of intervention points.
Approach / Description
H7cROM's approach is to give the users the chance to decide for a wider bunch of options whether to install it or not. Thus Aroma installer is used to provide an interface for the users choices so that you can configure your system more individually.
Unfortunately Aroma installer only supports flashable zip file up to a size of 2GB. Thus I had to devide the installation process into two phases (2 zip files):
Phase 1 (H7cROM-Phase1-B371.zip)
which offers several menus to install and customize a very slimmed version of Honors B371 firmware.
Phase 2 (H7cROM-Phase2-yyyymmdd.zip)
which offers menus with a wide bunch of apps that can be installed in "batch mode" (usually much faster than using Playstore).
Short description of phase 1 (H7cROM-Phase1-B371.zip)
During phase 1 you can install a slim version of the stock firmware B371 that includes busybox already but several apps were deleted in advance. At the beginning the user can decide
which kernel shall be installed (Standard, MoDaCo, Yoda)
to execute a factory reset or to delete caches
how to configure the partitions /recovery and /recovery2 (stock or TWRP)
to root the device
to deactivate the Honor theme engine
to activate several hidden and other options (network speed, 4G menu etc.)
to install system enhancements (init.d support, HTC Beats Audio, Dolby Atmos FX, Vidper4Android)
to prepare the device for flashing Xposed
Furthermore a lot of preinstalled apps can be deleted so that you can decide how your device setup will look like.
To get a better feeling for H7cROM I have attached a flashable dummy zip file for phase 1. This file will definitively install nothing - you can only see the options.
Short description of phase 2 (H7cROM-Phase2-2016mmdd.zip)
During the second phase you can select approximately 100 apps to be installed. Depending on the number of apps that you are selecting this installation process is much faster than using playstore. You select from the following categories:

Office apps
Launcher
Multimedia apps
Infrared remote control
Navigation
Google Play
Standard Android apps
Root related tools
other tools and useful apps

To get a better feeling for H7cROM I have attached a flashable dummy zip file for phase 2 as well. Again, this file will definitively install nothing - you can only see the options.
Requirements:
Honor 7 PLK-L01 with
stock firmware PLK-L01C432B370 or PLK-L01C432B371
unlocked bootloader
TWRP 3.0.2
external SD card
Installation:
make a complete backup (Nandroid)
copy both flashable files to your SD card
install TWRP if not done (please deactivate it's screensaver to avoid side effects with Aroma Installer)
Run zip file for the first phase (H7cROM-Phase1-B371.zip) using TWRP (when doing it the first time it is strongly recommended to choose factory reset)
Reboot system
In order to avoid heat issues during the second phase please give your device the chance to cool down
Reboot to TWRP
Run the zip file for the second phase (H7cROM-Phase2-jjjjmmtt.zip)
Reboot (depending on the number of installed apps that can take several minutes - please be patient!)

The flashable zip files are still in an early beta phase! I am publishing it here in order to get further hints and comments from the community to improve the ROM ... but please be aware that beta means that it is not perfect
The phase 1 zip file contains a complete (slimmed) firmware, the corresponding configuration files and several additional enhancements and tweaks
Rooting is done by using Chainfire's zip files; due to some limitations of the stock kernel there are two ways of rooting:
Stock kernel:
The combination of the stock kernel and the Chainfire's update-supersu-v2.76.zip is leading to a bootloop - thus I am using update-supersu-v2.62.zip if stock kernel is installed
MoDaCo kernel and Yoda kernel:
For both kernel variants Chainfire's update-supersu-v2.76.zip is used for rooting
If you decide to root your device during the H7cROM installation the corresponding zip file will be stored in folder /h7cROM on your SD card
The same happens with the Xposed related zip file if you decide that the phone shall be prepared for Xposed - this way not only the Xposed installer will be installed but you will also have the corresponding flashable zip file accessable.
Furthermore H7cROM will generate backups (dumps) of several partitons and store it in folder /H7cROM as well if you run the installation on a device with firmware version B370.
Needless to say: there is no warranty at all for H7cROM

Beta forever (or banana software that matures on users side)
Why this headline? That's easy to explain. Due to the big number of potential option combinations I am not able to test all combinations. Assuming there would only be 16 combinations to test and each test would take only 5 minutes that would mean that I would have to test 2^16 = 65.526 configurations with a duration of 5 minutes. That would lead to an overall testing time of 227 days ... unrealistic.

Known issues:
The problem that the app Designs does not support downloading themes on some devices is currently not fixed
Unfortunately it might happen that the Aroma Installer stops execution without a visible reason. This happens quite seldom (~3-5%). In that case please repeat the installation process.
During the installation process the H7 device is getting quite hot ... because of that you should not run both phases directly one after the other - give your device the chance to cool down a bit before installing phase 2; as far as I know TWRP will stop execution when the device gets to hot.

Needless to say that I would really like to help you but in order to be able to do that you have to be a bit more precise:
Which firmware was installed when you tried to flash the ROM?
Did you get an error message? If yes, please post it here.
Do you have a bootloop or what exactly happens?
Did you interrupt the installation process?
Which version of TWRP did you use?
So, please describe the circumstances to get a specific answer.

Fast and short

Due to my very rare spare time at the moment the first option would definitively overload my current capacity. Thus I have made the decision by intention to go ahead with option 2. This is my personal "defense line" to avoid unnecessary and unneeded support effort.
And if nobody is looking into H7cROM that's absolutely OK for me because primarily I have made it for myself (and I have learned a lot during this process ).

If you have already installed a version of H7cROM you can choose "Clearing caches" instead of "Factory reset" so that your data will NOT be deleted. In this way you can update to the latest version.

The rom is great, stable with lot more features. But it did not has the option to lock signal like in the European Rom.
Is it possible to port that feature into this china rom ? can you teach me .??
Without knowing the 'Kangvip custom rom b380 ' deeply I can only assume that you will not be able to get that funktion easily. The only option that might work is to use xposed in combination with a modul that will fit to your needs. That's something you have to test by your own.

For the European firmware you have to change the entry "ro.config.hw_hide_lte" from true to false in file "/cust/hw/eu/prop/local.prop". I assume that you will have a similar file in a similar folder and that you only have to replace "eu" in the path where you have to look for the prop file.
