How to find the stock android version if you are running a custom ROM on any android? - Moto E Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am using a XT1022 and a custom ROM of Android version of 6.0.1. I want to use a stock ROM right now.
Earlier, i had a stock version of my ROM but the last time i flashed it, my mobile got OTA upgrade. And later i again flashed a custom ROM but now, i could not perform my stock ROM flash. Can anyone tell me how to find the present stock version of my android?

Why do you want to go to stock Rom?They are outdated.

Installation MIUI on Galaxy S3 with Samsung stock 4.3 rom

Hello gentlemen, I have Galaxy S3 and I have there stock rom from samsung android version 4.3 (specifically i9300XXUGNA8) and I would like to try a MIUI rom. However I find guide only with downgrade on stock rom version I9300XXDLJ4 which is android 4.1.1. But I know that it used old EFS file version 1 and in my rom is EFS v2. So if I downgrade it, the telephone was not work - especially signal from operator. Does anyone have any advice or some guidance on how the stock Samsung rom to MIUI. Thanks for the advice. I've used the MIUI rom for s3, and trust me, it's really good. The only downside is that you have to downgrade to android version 4.2.2 which is CM based. The latest version is based on 4.2.2, not 4.1.1
You have to do this:
1) Root your s3 following a proper guide. There are plenty on the net. Just google it.
2) Install a custom recovery. I recommend TWRP or Philz Touch recovery.
3) Download the MIUI rom from their official website en.miui.com
4) Flash the rom using the recovery.
Done. Hope this helped

[Q] (Q) Official ROM for IM-A870L?

I'm the south Korean Android user who has IM-A870L(VEGA iron). I also wan to experience Lollipop(Android 5.0), and i think the only way to use lollipop is using custom rom like Cm12, Miui6. I found a custom rom in Tekcafe, and i realized it's unofficial custom rom, is it possible to do OTA even if it isn't official? I am hoping that i can use OTA instead of factory reset to install new custom rom.
Please be interested in developing IM-A870L rom.

Updating from 4.4.2 to 5.0.1?

I'm looking for a rooted stock rom I can flash using Mobile Odin. Any help or direction will be helpful thanks:good:
At (galaxy note 3 root dot com, sorry I cant post links until 10 post made) they have the stock firmware. I flashed that (4.3) and was back to stock. It prompted me to upgrade to 5.0 (after two 4.4 upgrades) and than I rooted. You can go that route. I have a nandriod of rooted 5.0. Best bet is to flash stock firmware from link (via odin), factory upgrade to where you want and root.
Or my advice is forget about 5.0 as it sucks and flash an aosp based rom like cm12.1 or aicp 10 (both running 5.1.1) and....blast off! I never thought I could upgrade my phone and speed it up at the same time.
I just found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-sprint/development/rom-t3132662 rooted stock 5.0

If I install it and I don't like it then can I not just reinstall the lollipop image?

I have an official lollipop upgrade rom downloaded and installed on my huafung-bungding-giggling mobile and it works great
I have now found an official marshmallow upgrade but it says
"there’s no official rollback available right now, so you’ll have to stay on Marshmallow for a while."
If I install it and I don't like it then can I not just reinstall the lollipop image?
Please be clear with your words,
Now what ROM you are using and also let me know with andriod ver.???
Originally running Android 4.4
Recently found Android 5.1 rom official upgrade
installed and working peachy
Now I have found the official Android 6.0 rom online update for my phone
My question is if I install the marshmallow rom and I don't like it. If I have the lollipop rom what is to stop me installing it back?
I'd there something that I'm not getting, that would prevent me rolling back?
Actually I'll just go for it
