Instalation
Download the rom
copy it on the sdcard
reboot the phone in TWRPrecovery 3.0.0.0 or 3.0.2.0
(dont try to flash the rom with stock recovery, will not work and you can brick the phone)
Make first a BACKUP of your working rom
WIPE data factory reset
WIPE use- ADVANCED WIPE *Dalvik cache *System *Data *Cache
INSTALL search the rom, select and SWIPE to install
when it finish do a wipe cache dalvick cache(have option on left down corner)
**Dont install SuperSU given by TWRP**
REBOOT (first boot will be longer about 7-10 min)

good rom ! better than CyanogenMod on my J5FN running it ! bugs that I have found . headphones are not recognized . wifi and mobile data will not and some system apps not go . otherwise everything runs smoothly and the battery consumption is really good! thank you

Some weeks ago, I've tried to port miui 7 from a Lenovo phone using cm by Nick as base rom, however I was stuck at bootanimation and I didn't work anymore on it since that.
Maybe there will be less bugs (or maybe only cm bugs? ) if you use cm 12.1 as base rom. You can try.

i tryed first with cm like base but doesnt work, only the kernel
even stock kernel work with miui but i use the cm kernel for the rest of the devices.
i ollready fixed some bugs and i test it right now

My J5 is 'SM-J500N0'. It is for korean user.
Most rom is for 'SM-J500F'.
So I can't use almost ROMs, but I never mind about it.

I cant teach you to make a custom rom but you can test this rom and tell me if it but and if it work on your j5 model.

@Santhosh M , sorry to be childish. But I am hesitating to ROOT after the update because there is no separate guide to root 64 Bit OS. Is it same as before. I have done Rooting and CWM on CM11. Should I follow same procedure and also does same CWM works in CM12 also.

i've flashed with cwm recovery working very well all are saying use only twrp recovery but for cwm best its flashed all 64bit roms sandys cm12.1 rom varuns cm12.1 flex os 5.1 all are working good

Thanks, Rooted and Installed TWRP. Working Well. But I flashed this ROM and GAPPS (64-Bit for 5.1) from HERE, but every time initial setup stops and starts again from "SetUp WiFi". I tried with single SIM and without SIM also but every time Initial SetUp stops and starts again from beginning. I also tried Flashing this ROM without GAPPS and then It booted but quite Laggy. Only one thing which I didn't do is connect to wifi network as I haven't any available. I use 3G on phone. At the end I restored my backup. Is there something wrong with these GAPPS? If yes then please provide a link to GAPPS working with this ROM.

VOLTE is not available in this rom, atleast not with Jio!!
This rom looks great !! I don't know how is battery life , if the battery life is good , the room is verry good . I can compare it with auroroa N7 V5 , but this room have extra the VOLTE and N7 camera , if the battery life is like aurora room , it's the best room so far .

VOLTE is available at your network? are u using 910f or 910g? I am using 910g, WIFI is not working along the mentioned VOLTE.
slow motion record doesnt work
Same bugs in N7 camera as in all other N7 ports.

Honestly i don't know how is soposed to work the VOLTE , i don't think i need it ..
The sistem is crashing after i freezed some apps ( apps edge , brefieng , game mod etc. ) ....and after a factory reset sistem ui is crashing ... So i will say pas to this room things like this i don't like , room have some gaps and i can't customize-it ..

The project is MIUI-V7 ROM. This ROM not buid from source but I port from other device that is core 2. I use CM11 as Base ROM.

First time installing Miui7 to your Galaxy Core Prime (SM-G360H), or coming from another ROM:
Install ClockworkMod Recovery (OR TWRP)
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (Vol-up+Home+Power)
Do a Nandroid backup! (Optional and only if you weren't running TouchWiz before)
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + format /system partition)*
Install the ROM from sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery (OR TWRP)
*NOTE: If you're running TWRP recovery, go to Settings >> "Use rm -rf instead of formatting" before wiping anything, else you have to wait 20 mins due to some weird bugs of our eMMC (maybe).
ROM OS Version: 4.4.x KitKat
ROM Kernel: Linux 3.10.x
ROM Firmware Required: Stock 4.4.x

So you might not know. Me and my friends Booted MIUI 8 for Grand 2.
I had this device for quite a while and sadly noone bothers for it. So i supported Grand 2 developement.
The thing is CP is Speadtrum i think. If the same method can work for both Qualcomm and SpeadT then maybe we can work on a MIUI 8 next?

K i flashed the rom. Here's all i can say
1)The icons are kinda squareish. Not like the regular MIUI 7 icon. Dunno if its a bug or its supposed to be like that.
2)Themes icon is nowhere to be found. Won't open from settings either
3)There are 3 camera icons?. And also it had 2 dialers. Stock KK & MI dialer
4) won't connect to PC despite USB debugging is on
5) can't download anything from playstore. Tried 3 different Gapps Packages. Please give a link for the recommended one or if its a problem then look into it.
Rest seems fine to me. Sorry i can't provide no logcats i don't have access to PC right now. Hopefully you'll fix them soon. All the best

Sorry i can't help you much since i don't own the device. You should take Logcats and mention them in Miui Port Guide thread by STRYDER~007. There people can help you?

@mv2007 bro as far as i know the port rom itself is not a good option. I mean the port device i.e core 2's MIUI 7 itself is not quite stable. So no matter how good the port is. It will always have port rom bugs. So in my opinion port device option Either you should've ported from a device which has a stable version. Or better if you can try build from scratch. If you want we both can get along and work on it. I know how to build from patchrom. But reject fixing is the only thing that i can't do myself. Tell me your telegram or hangouts if you wish to work on patchrom together?

GPS locks on pretty quick (with Device Only Location mode)
LTE works
Camera works with no apparent crashing yet
Bluetooth connects to my Anker SoundBuds Slim just fine

So far most stable Oreo ROM for note 4 I've tried.
Camera front and rear with recording works without crashing
GPS,sim card works
Only issue I have right now is MIC volume is very low compare to stock. When I send voice messages on WhatsApp and during calls the other side person can barely hear me very low volume but while i am on touchwiz roms works fine.
Can you tell me how to increase MIC VOLUME under system\vendor\etc\mixer~paths.xml or any other way please ? I had same issue with all oreo roms so maybe it could be lineage bug ?

EDIT===Guys just to let you know the root is built in the ROM you don't need to flash SuperSU or magisk. Just enable root for apps and adb under developer options.
if you do flash root you will get lots of errors

I only formated system, cache, dalvick cache.

I do appreciate the option that allows to create up to 60 levels for volume increments. Before I had difficulties to adjust volume level via Bluetooth now it's fine.

You need to update your Twrp latest version to flash this rom
Just flash this twrp via odin then go to wipe and wipe system/data/cache/dalvic cache and flash the rom no more error 7.

anybody using viper4android ? tried installing and worked fine. but my sim card got undetected. as soon as I uninstall viper4android it detects the sim card. very weird
EDIT: installed the latest magisk version and installed viperfx for magisk. works now

Has the same sim death issue that is common across all LOS based ROMs
Also present the "system process not responding" error also seen in LOS ...
Other than that running fine, and more options than you can poke a stick

Sim death has nothing to do with magisk/V4A, it's a known random issue across all LineagesOS based ROMs

How to InstallIf you have TWRP Recovery:

Knowing Bugs
audio disables itself after some time
To Fix call audio
1) make a temp. call
2) put phone on speaker mode
3) then put phone on mute
4)then cut the call
Now you can make any call

I just installed your ROM and I love it, only thing I have to say is The camera issue and audio, I hace tried to fix both but I did not get good results. I'm new in this kind of things and always try to read carefully. Your recommendations will be very welcomed.

I hope you go back and resolve the couple of quirks in this rom or release the complication so the community can do so.
The On5 was always a great phone with was crippled by all the bloatware from Samsung.

Yes, it works perfectly, with the exception of can and in and out audio not working
We need an update.
Honestly, this is a good rom, but it really needs a rebuild since camera and sound dont properly work well, except with headphones. I do own this device, and we seriously need an update to this. Its almost a year since you first uploaded this. Maybe consider using Oreo for this update? Or Pie?
