Google has probably, without your knowledge, sideloaded the Android Device Manager onto your Android phone by now. This applies to almost anyone who owns an Android phone -- any handset running at least Android 2.2 and has Google Play installed will get it. The announcement was made on Android official blog here.
To activate it, go to Settings > Security > Device Administrators and tick Android Device Manager, allowing it to do anything it wants. You can then, from any Web browser, locate your phone via the Web interface. Other features include being able to ring your phone at maximum volume when you've misplaced it, but know it's near, or erase your phone if you've lost all hope of recovering it.
This sure helps if you've lost your phone, or worse, if it was stolen. You could potentially get close to the phone using the locate feature, sound the alarm and get ready to chase down the thief. If he runs too fast for you, just erase the device completely to keep your data safe.
With Android Device Manager, Google gave basic functionality -- a lot like Apple's Find My iPhone available for iOS devices. If you need more, you can always check out Android Lost, the incumbent king of remote phone location and destruction, allowing various levels of device access and control.

Don't Repost
Note: If you feel setting higher values can damage your speaker than please set little lower values

Question GSM/LTE/5g selection option not visible

For some reason my phone does not give me the option of choosing which network mode to use. Wondering if this is because I have removed some of the Chinese apps. Would anyone be able to show me where this option resides in the menus? Thank you.
Yes me too i am trying to activate volte and Real vowifi. I have installed système ui tuner but non option available. I Can eliminate thé warning high sound message but no more for instance
I have tried resetting my phone and still have no way of selecting LTE/NR/GSM on my handset. Is anyone else in the same boat?

If you have a look on the Network Profiles (Settings / Mobile Networks / Select one SIM card / Access Point Name / Press the i icon on the corresponding APN / Network (below) there is a list of network connection types : LTE, EDGE, ...
However deselecting LTE does not seem to help.
If you wish to disable 5G, you may go to Battery Settings then "Optimisations" where you'll be able to "Disable 5G".
Thank you for responding. I get the same settings, but they don't let me pick 5g. The only way I have managed it is using the android engineering menu that various apps can open.

How To Guide VoWiFi and VoLTE (no root required)

This guide will show you how to enable VoWIFI/VoLTE on Xperia 5 IV(it should work on 1 IV) phones without rooting /unlocking bootloader.
Tested on XQ-CQ62 (US model ) , Tmobile mvno (ultra mobile).
Currently it works even after restart for me but apparently after each restart it should stop working and you would have to redo the process.
Thanks to devs of pixel volte patch(github) and shizuku app devs.
Requirements:
Developer settings enabled
Shizuku app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=moe.shizuku.privileged.api
Pixel IMS apk https://github.com/kyujin-cho/pixel.../download/1.2.3/dev.bluehouse.enablevolte.apk
Process
Open shizuku app

Turn on and open Wireless debugging by pressing on the name.(its not just a toggle)
Open pixel ims (it will ask you to grant shizuku permission )
And after that press on the icon in the lower right corner (name of your carrier).
After that you should be able to see this in settings
Choose your own wifi calling preference.

Thanks. Working on my Xperia 10 IV - SEA firmware on Vodafone NZ
Thanks so much for this. I've been going round and round with Verizon and Sony, each pointing their finger at the other one. Very frustrating. Then I found this and it works great, and is maintained across restarts. Thanks to all!
