Help! LG G5 keeps restarting whenever i download/install an app - LG G5 Questions & Answers

Help! LG G5 keeps restarting whenever i download/install an app. I was downloading Clash Royale (a game), and my phone just randomly restarts in the middle of installation. I reboot it back up and the installation continues. I have already tried to factory reset the phone but that did not fix the problem. Does anyone have any tips? All help is appreciated!

I have rogers btw
I have rogers for anyone wondering

There could be various reasons for this. Quite obviously it could be the Play Store, although I doubt it as no one else reported such a thing.. Nevertheless, try to uninstall updates to it and maybe even Play Services. If it didn't help, a logcat output would be very helpful.

[Q] Google Play incremental app update problem

Hey, people
Odds are good this has been treated before. If so please link me to the thread? Thanks.
I've been having issues updating apps on Google play. The portion if the app to he updated is downloaded and it just freezes there. It looks like there's a problem adding the increment to the original file. How to fix?
I thought it was a problem with my Moto G, but it continues with my OnePlus One and it's annoying. Sometimes it completes, somtimes it just stays there and prevents other updates. Sometimes I'm able to finish the update by stopping and restarting. Sometimes even that doesn't help. Sometimes quickly resetting the connection by toggling USB tethering or just connecting to a laptop triggers a completion. Sometimes nothing at all happens.
I've tried clearing data and cache for Google play and services, like was suggested in a thread I read somewhere. No dice. Even Google+ just froze.
Can anyone help me?

S6 Edge restarting VERY OFTEN. No apparent reason

Hey,
I've had my S6 Edge for about a month or two now. Never experienced any random reboots until today. I restarted it earlier today, and now it keeps restarting several times an hour. It most often restarts when I unlock it, after the screen has been off for some minutes. It also restarts if I browse the internet or browse Play Store. It reboots to the Samsung logo, then directly to my home screen. I don't have to enter any pin, unlike when I manually reboot it. The phone is not rooted and I haven't installed any apps in days. It seems like me restarting my phone triggered this.
Any ideas or suggestions? It's VERY frustrating, the phone is nearly useless as it is now. I can't use it for more than a couple of minutes before it reboots, losing everything I was doing.
I have tried wiping cache. Still restarting.
Thanks

Try using it in safe mode. If the problem disappears you know it is a third party app
It doesn't restart in safe mode. I've uninstalled a bunch of apps but it doesn't stop restarting in normal mode anyway.
If the phone is fine in safe mode, it can't be anything but a 3rd party app causing problem?

Safe mode is very similar to normal mode.
The difference is all non-system apps have been removed.
It is a mode put into all Samsung phones to diagnose issues that may show up.
It is a very basic, simple way to diagnose problems.
Since your issue disappears in safe mode, try uninstalling every app you have installed, then download them again, one by one

Thanks. It turned out to be a bad app, that I installed a week ago or so. Of course, it was the one app I didn't want to have to uninstall. Oh well, at least it doesn't reboot every other minute now.
Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

And it restarted bcos I was installing all apps at once from play store ?

Crashing Huawei Ascend G7 - Please Help!

Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is a Huawei Ascend G7 issue, or if it's an Android issue. About two weeks ago, my phone began randomly restarting by itself. It would then go into somewhat of a bootloop, in that it got to my lock screen, processed a bit, and then restarted again. When I'd hold the power button, it would restart and work well...for a few hours, and then it would restart again. I started removing my most recently-installed apps and it kept happening.
Eventually, I got fed up, and restored from scratch and once I connected my Google account, all my apps loaded back up, and the same issue persisted.
I previously had the phone rooted with Kingoroot, and this issue occurred before I removed it, as I figured that may be related. When I restored, I got rid of it and it's nowhere to be seen on my phone, and I don't have root access anymore.
Questions -
a) Does anybody know what the hell could cause this behaviour?
b) I'm not a newbie with Android, but I'm not much of a techie either. I've been trying to see the logs for my phone, but I've installed a few log-viewing apps and they all seem to need root. How can I view the log files to figure out what the culprit is?
Any help you can give me would be really welcome. It's not quite a crisis right now, but it's pretty frustrating when my phone randomly reboots and there doesn't seem to be any consistency in what I'm doing to cause it...
Thank you!!
Steve

Lag issue

I don't know what's going on but whenever I play NBA 2K19, I'm experiencing lag issue. System has been updated, reinstalled the app, rebooted the phone multiple times, factory reset the phone. But still the same thing. Any help or suggestion will be appreciated.
TIA!

Phone dialer keeps stopping

Hello all,
I recently purchased Galaxy S10 lite, and till now I didn't face any issues. From yesterday night my phone's dialer keeps stopping whenever I try to open it. It just open up for a second and then stops working. I couldn't search through my contacts and not even able to make any calls, but I am able to receive calls though.
I tried restarting the phone, clearing the app cache and also tried force stopping the app. I tried all the possible solutions that I could think of, but none seems to be helping.
Any help would be appreciated!
Many thanks in advance!
Restore to factory settings. If it wouldn't help, give back phone to shop due to warranty.
