[MOD] Unbranded LG G5 Boot/Shutdown Animations + Sounds - T-Mobile LG G5 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Stock Unbranded LG G5 Bootanimation + Shutdown Animation + Sounds
These files were pulled from an unlocked unbranded H850. These are the "official" animations and sounds for the G5 if T-Mobile didn't get in the way.
This requires unlocked bootloader + TWRP.
Flash the unbranded zip in TWRP to install the stock LG animations n sounds.
Flash the H830-TMO zip to restore the original T-Mobile animations and sounds.
Having issues due to data encryption and TWRP not seeing files on the internal storage?
Try one of the following:
adb sideload LGG5-Unbranded-Flashable.BootAni.zip
adb push LGG5-Unbranded-Flashable.BootAni.zip /tmp/
stick file(s) on external sdcard
*this does NOT remove the yellow or red warning screen when bootloader is unlocked.

Simple Aperature Boot Logo/Animation

So I was bored and decided to make a logo/animation for fun. So here it is:

}
And in animation, all it does is make the letters glow (Honestly its pretty lame but ok for a 2 min job)
I will also take boot logo and animation requests. (May not be fast but will do some.
Edit: Forgot to tell y'all just to flash in CWM Recovery (Yes I'm from Oklahoma )
Enjoy!
Awesome, I'll flash it soon.

Hey this is really great, thanks! I just have one problem: I flashed the file you provided but all it did was change the boot logo. I'm not sure if that's a problem on my end with procedure or ROM or what, but I would really like the animation too. If it matters, I'm using CWM Touch and am on MIUI V4 alpha 2.

Weird. Might be because of MIUI's theme association with the boot animation.
Well I'm going to make a new version anyways some time.
In the mean time just unzip it and move with root explorer the bootanimation.zip file into /system/media with excact same permissions as the old one.

If I flash back the official ICS/GB tft, will UNLOCKED bootloader be LOCKED again?

If I flash back the official ICS/GB tft, will UNLOCKED bootloader be LOCKED again?
Please tell
THanks
No.
First of all its not a tft but a ftf file and if no your bootloader will not be locked again by simply flashing the ftf file.....

Dont worry bro. Search for relocking the bootloader post here and follow the steps. It will not be sorted by flashing generic ftf. Needs a little extra stuff. Not allowed to post link else wud have posted it here.

[Q] How to update the "powered by android" logo?

So I asked about this on reddit a while back but I haven't found a solution to this yet.
So I was watching a video yesterday on how to update to Lollipop on the T Mobile LG G3 (I have the Sprint version) and in the video, he flashed each parts of the system separately (modem, bootloader, system). After that, he rebooted and I saw the new logo at the first screen (Splash screen). So my guess to update it is that we need to flash a newer version of the bootloader or something? What do you think?

So do you think that a newer version of the bootloader has the updated logo? Is there any flashable zips?

Lollipop update from 4.4.2 NK4 unrooted

I have a verizon s4 on 4.4.2 with NK1
I lives outside the USA. So verizon ota update always shows UPDATE TEMPORARILY UNAVIALBE error. It is fully stocked. I never rooted it. So i decided to update manually. I googled it and found a way to update it
http://www.droidviews.com/install-lollipop-on-verizon-galaxy-s4-and-keep-root/
I am following 1st method. I flashed 1st file and now i am on NK4. But for precaution before flashing 2nd file i Googled it and found that 2nd file never install by any user. So what to do now.. Can anyone guide me to update from nk4 to oc1 lollipop
Plz
I had the same problem and same error message on my Verizon S4. All I had to do was connect my phone to my PC and click "connect as installer" from the slide down menu of the status bar on my phone. Then on my PC, I got a pop-up asking if I wanted to install "Verizon Update Assistant". I did that and it prompted me to update to 5.0.1 via the computer. Wierd, I know, but this is how Verizon decided to so it for some models.

Hey, don't do OC1 unless you still have Verizon.
Also, people have been reported bad connections as well.

Stuck on Android is starting/starting apps

So I went and restored my phone but it seems to be stuck on the optimizing apps/starting apps screen and won't go anywhere else? Anyway I can fix this? I've tried to flash a boost mobile (my carrier) stock rom but I get the same problem.

Which ROM/Kernel are you using? You can get better help if you post in that forum. If you're using stock rom, make sure you're flashing it in the right way, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e-2015/general/stocks-firmwares-moto-e-t3113235 for instructions.

@gameSTICKER has a good point. In addition, have you updated your partitions to the respective version of the ROM you are flashing? Out of curiosity, which build and version stock ROM have you flashed to your xt1526, are you using a custom recovery and, if so, what version?
