[ROM]CM-13.0 Stable [ZNH2K/ZNH5Y] [Uber Toolchains 4.9.4][Bacon] - ONE Android Development

UPDATE: BUILDING BOTH ZNH2K/ZNH5Y.This ROM is for people using CM nightlies and snapshot builds. There are no features added or removed. It is pure CM. The ROM source is from the ZNH2K/ZNH5Y stable branch. ZNH2K/ZNH5Y is behind the nightlies and ahead of snapshot source. The ZNH5Y branch is newer code than ZNH2K but both are CM stable branches. Everything just works. The kernel is synced from nightly source. I build both ROM and kernel using Uber Toolchain 4.9.4 for smoothness and its optimizations over the stock toolchains. There is nothing fancy going on here. Just a solid CM build with great battery for the OnePlus One. I build this for my personal use and thought there might be some other users that would enjoy it. I will also say I am new to this and still learning. I test every build myself before release. If someone encounters a bug I didn't find chances are it comes from CM and will be fixed when they fix it.
DO NOT DIRTY FLASH FROM ZNH5Y TO ZNH2K. DIRTY FLASH FROM ZNH2K TO ZNH5Y IS FINE.

You can't disable it with CyanogenMod. Some roms have added the feature to disable. It always shows if you have a root app open.

Honestly I do like the option. I really didn't want to get away from stock CM setup mainly for stability reasons. I might look into though.

Thanks for the consideration. I do agree with you ROM being as close to CM. But things like superuser indicator and network activity indicators force us to use xposed which makes the ROM unstable. If u could add them we can avoid xposed.
Just a suggestion, u can add useful features like disable fc, network activity indicators, disable su indicator which helps lot of users avoid using xposed.

@Brian325
Force close when trying to restrict data and WiFi usage for system apps. Nightlies don't have this . They have pushed a commit to hide these settings for system. If possible please add it.
Rest all perfect..

I read some stuff this morning about OmniROM.
Nice to see this philosophy in Note II section! Thanks.
Awesome, can't wait to flash.
Is this based on CM or completely independent fork built from AOSP? If second, not many features are probably done yet right?

They are actually (ex) CM developers. With the recent changes in the CyanogenMod team, some devleopers decided to follow a different path and started OmniRom project.
Of course the project is based on Cyanogenmod which they contributed to for years, but in time, differences will be more obvious.
The good thing is, @pulser_g2 is with them, a guy is dedicated to Note 2

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][SABERMOD/LINARO]Temasek's Unofficial CM12.1 [WEEKLY]

These are UNOFFICIAL builds of Temasek's CM12.1
These builds are based on CM-12.1 nightlies with features cherry-picked from many sources including AOSP, crDroid, OmniROM, SlimROM, LiquidSmooth, SpasilliumNexus, DirtyUnicorns, NamelessROM, AICP, Euphoria-OS, TeamBliss, PAC, etc. This is similar to a nightly from CM but has some extra goodies baked in. Ive built this using sabermod toolchain for the rom, and linaro for the kernel
Builds will strictly follow Temasek's upstream, I will not be making any changes.
If you can't handle some things possible being broken, please don't use this and then complain to me for building it.
All credits go to @temasek for creating this rom. I'm only building it.
Important:
1) Do NOT ask for builds. I'll build one every weekend since the ROM is pretty stable and I don't think nightlies would be so useful
2) Do NOT use this unofficial build and ask for support at the official threads.
3) Do NOT be rude.
4) Respect all users
5) If you see a NOOB question and you don't feel like replying, simply DON'T; just ignore that post. If you reply, good for you and be nice in your reply
Bugs:
- You tell me! [emoji14]
Features:
A LOT OF 'EM [emoji14] Here are a few which I remember-
1. All CM12.1 features
2. Omniswitch
3. TRDS
4. Slim Recents, Pie
5. MANY MORE
Instructions :
1) Download the latest build and gapps;
2) Reboot to recovery;
3) Wipe Cache, Dalvik cache, Data, System;
4) Flash the latest build;
5) Flash the Gapps zip;
6) Reboot.

Ya I know it's slow, as temasek uses the old way of flashing. It extracts the whole system, unlike cm12.1, where the block image method is followed (patching system image unconditionally). I don't think there's any way to speed it up.
And sorry for the delay. I'm busy with school work so I'm not able to build

Hold out if you can, at least till more features are added to MM version. There are some Temasek MM roms out there for Nexus 5 but 12.1 has been abandoned. So you keeping up the LP version is much appreciated. Its a very solid rom you have here.

Thanks, helps a bit with my flash-addiction. Previous build has been running like the original, smooth and not a single problem. Freaky!
Sorry if this is a dumb question. Why bother with an unnoficial version if the official distributions are being released?
I'm about to install the official one and I'm curious if there's some difference I'm not aware of. Thanks!
I've just flashed the 23 July nightly over my 17 July Sultan ROM.
My nightly seems to lack a built-in clock app. When I tap the time after pulling down the status bar, nothing happens.

If something important changes, I'll put a changelog up here. If there is no changelog, you can have a look at https://github.com/LineageOS/android_device_oneplus_oneplus2/commits/cm-14.1
20170208:
Cleared my build directory this time, so no inbuilt root anymore. SuperSU works like a charme (but you can also use LineageOS root zip, go get it from their website if you want it).
20170202:
I never cleared my build directory, so there is still inbuilt root in this ROM. As soon as I do, it will disappear.
20170122:
This is valid for 20170118 as well: There won't be any root baked into this ROM anymore due to http://lineageos.org/Update-and-Build-Prep/. To have root, you will have to flash SuperSU. This means it should be possible to use apps on this ROM checking for the existence of su binaries if you don't flash any root zip (never tested by me though).
20170118:
Seems like we've got a new bootanimation!

Thanks for the ROM. It's smoother than most of the other ROMs I tried. I can't install Instagram for some reason, it says its not compatible on the play store. Apk for it works fine though.

New build is up! Should have taken care of the NFC issue.
I don't see the new build. Still shows Oct. 11th upload date. And all mirrors show the 20181010 build?
I prob won't flash it since I don't use NFC. And EVERYTHING is working perfectly!

Try this. I had to search for it too. Was on his Dev profile
Always been a fan of OmniROM, glad to see it made it's way to the Shamu. Nice work!
Any screenshot?
My cell data works amazingly with this ROM! I can send MMS in seconds. And it shows LTE on the signal bar. Haven't seen that in while.
It was horrible on pie. I missed an important text yesterday on pie. That was the last straw!
I am on Tello which uses Sprint.
