Google Keep not interactive on watch - Moto 360 2015

I'm trying to use Google Keep and have uninstalled and re-installed it, but that does not correct the problem of it not being interactive on watch. Checklists made on phone show up on watch, but I can't open them to check items off. Lists made on the watch work correctly. Also, location reminders do not remind. People rave about the app, but I can't get it to work for. Anybody know what do do?

I'm encountering similar issues after updating my watch recently, and also my Note 4 to 6.0.1. I was able to interact with all notes on my watch before the updates, now only the first note will open (no matter which one it is). Unfortunately I'm not sure whether it was the watch update or the phone update which introduced the issue. I will have to try uninstalling/reinstalling Keep at some point to see if that resolves the issue. Was kind of hoping a Keep update might come along to fix the problem :/
EDIT: Wipe app data/Uninstall/Reinstall didn't make any difference, same problem. Guess I'll 'keep' waiting for an update (see what I did there!)

Thanks for the reply. Yes, that is the way it works for me - only first note opens, unless there is only one note, and then nothing opens. It's reassuring I'm not the only one, as this is my first experience with Keep. Will hope for an update to fix it.

This is what I've done for a workaround. I made my first note "Placeholder", and find all notes after that first one will open on the watch. Also, with the most recent update, the location reminder works on the watch. That's pretty nice.

[Q] How to stop OTA update notification after update has been downloaded??

So a couple of days ago I updated to UEKME via PhantomHacker's StarBurst ROM, and right afterwards I noticed I continued to receive OTA update notifications from my Samsung account. So of course my first step was to change the settings in that account so that the device no longer looked for updates, however it appears that the update had already been downloaded or received. So then I started thinking, maybe if I could just find that downloaded update file, I could delete it and fix the issue that way. But after exhaustive searches, I have no idea where such a file could be. And of course all the while, I continue to get those damn annoying update popup notifications, with no way of stopping them.
Has anyone else either 1) encountered the same problem, or 2) know where the downloaded update file could be or what it might be named? Someone in another thread said it would be in the root of the SD card, but that I can confirm is not the case. And I performed a full system search of the term "update" and found no file, so that's why I'm wondering what exactly that file's name might actually be.
I'm looking for an answer to this as well. Thanks.

Cool, at least I'm not the only one having this problem!
Just an idea... since you use Starburst you don't need OTA anymore.
What happens if you remove the Samsung account, do you still get update notifications?
I have the exact same issue. The update downloaded before I flashed the custom ROM, so it keeps letting me know that an update has been downloaded and if it should be applied. Even if I hit do not remind me, it still pops up.
I think finding the update data and deleting it would solve this problem. Problem is, nobody seems to know where the update data is downloaded to. I've asked in a couple of different threads, but no dice so far.
Let's hope someone comes through with an answer

Ok well I'm giving this a shot, only I've found that one can't just delete the Samsung account in the more obvious fashion, that is by going to Settings-->Accounts and sync and simply deleting the account there (in fact it is not possible to do it this way, it simply won't let you as apparently "other programs" are using the account). Instead, using Titanium Backup I located the app called "Samsung account" and uninstalled that app. I have now done that, and (so far) I haven't gotten another update notification. But I'll give it more time and will report back with my findings over the coming hours/days.
Not sure 100%, but if you stop the Software Update service you should be able to remove the account. Or the radical way, you can remove all accounts with Settings > Privacy > Factory data reset.
Ah crap, well after removing the account (i.e., uninstalling "Samsung account" app), about 2 hours later I awakened my tab only to find that damned update notification pop up, so obviously that didn't work at all. I guess we are now just stuck with waiting to see if someone can actually find the correct file that one must delete in order to stop this incredibly annoying and frustrating phenomenon from occurring. Damn.
One more little thing I'm now trying - while looking through things again in Titanium, I found another apk that I believe was called "Software updater" or something similar to that, so I've tried uninstalling that using Titanium. I have since rebooted and have the tab running, so as with earlier I'll keep checking in on it to see if the update notification comes back, or if by some miracle this fixes it. Fingers crossed, because after this I'm going to begin getting ready for a full wipe and build things back up from scratch.
UPDATE: things might be headed in the right direction after all. Before uninstalling this particular apk (the Software Updater), I used to be able to reproduce the typical "software update successfully received - do you want to install?" popup by going to Settings-->About tablet-->Software update-->Update, and when I'd click "Update" I'd get the notification...but now when I try it, it does absolutely nothing. So I have a feeling this might have done it. So again basically I have killed both the Samsung Account apk and the Software updater apk (uninstalled them, that is, using TB). If I don't get another popup by tomorrow morning, we can consider this a success....
Ya, I thought so. I still want to know where the updates are stored. There must be a file written somewhere and when that file is present the update is trigerred.

Agreed, you're right that has got to be the case, but where is the million dollar question. But so far so good at my end with the removal of the Software Updater app
FIXED
I think I can now confirm that the problem is fixed. The key is apparently uninstalling the "Software Updater" app using Titanium Backup. I also removed the "Samsung Account" app in the same way, but the Updater program seemed to be the real key (but I would still remove the Account app since obviously you don't need it). Good luck!

My magazine update won't go away

The my magazine update on my stock Note 3 will not go away. I have installed repeatedly. I noticed no difference in the app after the original install but I'm not sure if it's an update that would effect the UI at all either. Please help!

I would go into settings and go to the General tab. form there go to application manager. Look for the app in the downladed area if not there swipe over the the right 3 times to all. It will be there. Now you should be able to uninstall updates. I would also clear data as well. then go back to the play store and update form there. That should clear up the issue. If not you would be looking at a hard reset at that point.
Thank you! I did that immediately after posting. So far, so good. I'm hoping that solves it. Couldn't find anyone else with the same issue.

It happens a lot with a wide range of apps. something get crupted and you have to scrub it out before it will work right again. Stock apps (one on your phone form samsung) are the hardest to deal with.

No text/email/what's app notifications

I've got a moto 360 sport, paired with a note 3. Both have the latest android installed.
I've encountered this problem once before, ended up having to factory reset the dam watch. Once again, after a few days, I don't get any notifications.
I've made sure the notification settings on the watch are all on. The relevant apps aren't blocked in android wear etc.
What the heck is going on? Frustrated..
Thanks in advance.
Not sure what the issue is either but I also have this, it started happening with my ZenWatch 2 as well after I upgrade to 5.1.1. I was late to leave KK so I updated pretty recently and have constant issues with notifications not going through. Calls will (with a delay) but anything else is hit or miss.

I figured it out.
Go to settings on your watch. Permissions, Google services permission and make sure everything is enabled.

Looking for Motorola Update Service components to disable to prevent OTA or OTA msg

Currently:
Android version 6.0.1
Model: XT1650-02
Build Number MCLS24.246-36-3
I'm one of many people experiencing issues with the Moto Z (Force) move to Nougat. In doing so, I have choppy audio, tinny sound, popping and crackling as well. When contacting Verizon, they claim that nobody else is complaining about this to a point where their company is notifying its CS reps with a resolution. When contacting Lenovo/Motorola, they claim that they've received a ton of complaints since the Nougat release, and suggested that I bring the phone back for a swap since I had only just purchased it. I did just that, and followed their additional instruction for not updating to Nougat. The only problem is that the freakin thing downloads automatically while on wifi within a day and no way to prevent it that I know of. Now I have this aggressive attempt of the OTA management to get me to start the process. I don't want to, but neither do I want to manage having to ignore this update every day, nor do I want to accidentally initiate the process. I'm looking for a bit of help.
I thought that if I disabled the Motorola OTA service that it wouldn't push. But it did push even though I stopped the service under developer options. And even now that it pushed, I hoped not to get the message, but there it is. And since I don't want to root yet, I can't clear the space in cache where the update is to prevent it from updating accidentally. I'm looking for the names of any other Moto services that might be related to the OTA that I can disable to prevent this from happening. I don't mind factory defaulting my phone and starting over to clear their cache, but once the update actually executes, I'm hosed with crappy audio again. My wife has the same phone and we have one day to get her a new one for free within our return period. We like the phone, do not want to get a different brand, and hope that we can find a solution to this. Again, I want to do this without rooting.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Hi,
I myself greenified the app called "Motorola-Updateservices", package name is com.motorola.ccc.ota, apk name is 3c_ota.apk
Since then I never had another notification that nougat is available and I didn't search for updates either of course.

About to download and try it out. If it works, I'll be back in a couple days to report. If it doesn't, I'll be back sooner. Thank you for the suggestion.
Also, if you can provide any specific configurations to manage the OTA, I'm at your disposal.
SuD
PS I won't be searching for updates either, but I will be bugging Lenovo/Motorola to find out when the bug is fixed.
I'm rooted, have xposed and the donation version of the app.
As the OTA app is a system app you can't greenify it without having xposed installed and the donation package of Greenify.
Try to just disable the app with the normal app manager.

It worked on 6.01 but no longer on 7.0. If you debloat on 6.01 and take the OTA to 7.0 everything you've debloated stays that way unless you do a factory reset.
for some reason google took away the ability to use the adb commands in 7.0
Almost like they want us to be stuck with bloat lol.

I just tried it and I get some permission error. So it seems after the Dec patch it no longer works on '6.
I have Moto Z Play -1.
any suggestions for someone who might have accidentally downloaded the system update, but hasn't installed it yet? It makes me nervous, having that "new system software is downloaded and ready to install" message b/c I know one day I'll probably accidentally click on it and there won't be a way to go back.
I am a Z play owner.
By installing Z (not play) apps I believe I have disabled the OTA. But I have no nagging update to test it's functionality on.
To my point, if this does work then the reverse should work also.
I will up my apps if anyone want to try it.

Same as me on my z play.
The last patch did this.

I updated to today's OTA and now I only get headlines in Google now

I updated to today's OTA and now I only get headlines in Google now.
When I swipe left I see all the articles with only the headline and a photo. No short summary.
The "more articles" section it's not affected.a refresh or system restart does not change
anything.

It seems I should refer to it as "Google feed" now. No-one else has this issue?
The S9+ is not rooted. Some things were removed after I bought it using ADB, but that has been some time ago. I had at least 2 OTA's since. This happened after I accepted the last OTA (of this weekend).

Are you talking about OS OTAs or updates to the Google app? Your original and follow up post weren't clear enough for anyone to offer help. It does seem like there may be an issue with Google Feed with an easy fix though. Changing the wallpaper. Seems silly, but might help you.

Hi... I was referring to the OS OTA of last weekend.
The link you gave me is indeed what's happened to me. Thanks!!!
The new problem I'm facing now is that I'm now somehow tangled in a Samsung account which I refuse to make.
Maybe i need to remove that wallpaper manager to get one that is not linked to Samsung.
If I can't find that I'll be back.
Many thanks
EDIT:
I removed Samsung themes and installed some other app and my feeds have returned
