These builds are based on cm nightlies and builds will be updated once in a week or once in 2 week(depends on my college).
INTRODUCTION
I followed many guides and saw many videos and came to this point to make my own rom. The bugs will be same as cm and I'll try to fix them if I get time.
Now the thing is whats different in this rom, what makes this rom different. The answer is it isn't. But this is just the beginning, changes will be made as I learn more about it. Features will be added in future. Right now its just cm nightly with a cool new wallpaper, yeah you heard it right, new wallpaper.
New thing about this rom is wallpapers and all about looks and performance. Its smooth and looks good, and not the boring default cm wallpaper. I'll keep changing default wallpapers to make it interesting and any suggestions are welcome.
P.S:- If you can give me a nice wallpaper, I might add it in my next build. Which means your wallpaper can be in this ROM.
I'm new to this thing so please go easy on me. If there's anything you don't like or don't want, I'll respect your view and will think about it. It'll be better if you help me make this rom more awesome rather than criticizing it.

DO NOT OTA UPDATE THIS ROM, I'm working on it

Awesome Wallpaper man
Can't wait to test new build

I'm always happy to see a new rom...but why go to the trouble of building a rom to just post a wallpaper & change the wallpaper??
Just seems like a lot of work if there's no actual feature differences/changes?

I know, its just the beginning. And if you see, all cm based roms are similiar with few features of their own or change in toolchain or some added apps. I'm learning and i thought that I'd get more help if people gave their feedback and help me change things.

Great to see more roms occurring here. Keep on building and keep on developing your rom. Looking forward to see the continuation of this rom. Keep up the good work buddy

I think this is great. I love builds like this because I get to experience the changes made from almost stock to your version of custom. I will be following this rom and thank you for sharing your work.

Well, these are the builds i upload so that i could test few things. Not so much difference , but the legendrom version is tested a lot on the basis of battery and perf, and test builds are ummm, not so good. Something's always missing and there were some bugs, CM guys messed up in between....twice. hence 2 folder. For better experience do use builds from stable folder. You may not enjoy those builds in test folder:silly: but you are welcome to test them and give me feedback
Post #5 says that a rom just for wallpaper is a waste. but hey, we learned a lot since then and we implemented it. If there's a room for improvement, do let us know:highfive:
NEWS: a lot of work is going on in changing the rom. so next build will take time.

Good to see someone following our work. So thank you for that.
Coming back to the update, well my laptop messed up and am trying since. But @jhalayashraj is working on it. Making the build more better just to give you the best experience and not a buggy build. Expect a new build this weekend, and again thanks for supporting our work.
Anyone would like to me replace the stock keyboard or want to keep in in the next build, please give your opinions.

Well it seemed like the CM team abandoned out i777, just found out about your OMNI Rom, looks great man, thanks for that.
Omni isn't mine, I'm just a guy who started a thread for it. Entropy512 is the Omni-i777 bringup dev, who (I believe) was the CM maintainer.
^^speaking-of-which, i777 definitely seems abandoned by the CM squad, and therefore this is as official as it gets, and we appreciate having it.

Camera's not working
I've installed this rom tomorrow and so far so good, just wanted to ask about little help. Camera is not working when video recording mode for front camera is selected. Tried the patch available in omni thread, but still of no use. Can anyone provide the camera apk of ressurection remix 5.0.6, that was working too damn perfect or can provide any other solution. Thanks in advance. BTW most awesome rom ever used.
Just decided to give this a go this morning. Typically I'm a little too heavy of a user for KK with the well known battery drain issues, though I'm trying to figure out a good setup either through Stweaks or some other app to try and cut the drain down. What is everyone using as far as CPU control? Anything that's really stood out to help with the battery drain? I use Greenify of course and greenify just about everything except for apps like Seeder, Stweaks, etc. Sync is off, brightness usually turned way down. What has everyone used to be successful in extending batter life?
Much appreciate the work people are putting into porting these roms over and keeping the triple7 thriving. I've owned many devices, but always come back to this one. In my opinion, the most stable, user friendly, dev friendly device I've owned. So thanks to all who keep it thriving with new builds and ports.

Glad you are enjoying our semi official rom, and thanks for the feedback, so far every build that the CM Team has been taking out has this issue, it's a well known issue but since they don't officially support our device it will be harder for a fix, what I did was just stay on the CM stock camera and didn't update to the google camera from Google Play to avoid those issues. am currently looking into a fix, stay tuned

Thanks for trying our semi official rom much appreciated that you enjoy it, as for conserving battery I usually leave everything on default, auto brightness, I did use Stweaks to turn the capacitive lights on since the kernel shipped with the rom for some reason breaks that. I keep sync on since I need it for my work and haven't since any major battery drains as you can see from the screenshots on post #1 I got pretty good battery.
Cheers

Installed clean enough, I left the kernel as it was, so, I'll see how easy it is to get used to TWRP

Thanks for the update, this update will be on Release 3 scheduled for early next week
Well, somehow I screwed something up yesterday when I installed. Not sure what. I figured it was either A) Wrong Gapps or B) Swtiching to ART after having all my apps reinstalled. It rebooted after the switch and I started getting FCs from Google Play Services and such like crazy. So at the time, I just went and flashed my backup of a 4.2.2 ROM.
This morning, I installed this ROM again, used the PA micro 4.4.2 Gapps, and switched to ART before I started downloading my apps. And everything worked fine. Well, with the exception of some apps that haven't been updated to work with ART. Interestingly though, a few apps that were reported to be working with ART didn't for me, but run fine with Dalvic, which is the opposite of most KK ROMs I've tried so far. Maybe my phone is just a weird being with its own personality. Who knows.
So far though, so good. Great work on bringing this over to us from the i9100. I have ported CarbonRom KK nightlies in the past on my own. While they are good and stable for daily use, they don't run quite as smooth as this port does. Kudos sir. Finally, some good, new life breathed back into an aging device. Can't wait to check out the newer release next week.

For weeks there has been a team effort initiated by Gekkehenkie11 to bring CyanogenMod to the N910F. Many test builds have been released in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/general/rd-porting-cm12-t2951934 .
More and more users have asked for a ROM thread, to make releases more clear. Plus it's time to focus more on R&D in the R&D thread, and less on flash / usage issues. So here it is. The thread you've asked for.
Consider this the worst ROM thread in history.
This ROM would not have been possible without Slayher and Fattire! They have identified and solved a lot of the common trlte issues, and merged them back into the CM source. See their thread for more information about their work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-tmobile/development/unoffcial-cm-12-0-t-mobile-note-4-t2964887 . We've picked up from there to modify everything for the N910F, rebase the work on the N910F kernel source, fix RIL issues, fix up missing blobs, tweaks, etc.
To quote Slayher:
CM-12.0 is not ready. There are still massive changes of the code base as it progresses to add the already established features and enhancements.
There will be things broken.

More info will follow later.
Expect bugs, flash at your own peril. Make sure you wipe the device, even if you come from a previous build.
Enjoy!
P.s.
This is all done on our free time. Take it or leave it. Don't expect support..... but we'll try our best to help you.
MOD EDIT -
The OP is no longer active but here are the latest builds, flash at your own risk.

Great job guys!!!
Maybe add last build date in topic? And gapps in OP?
910G here, was running previous builds, just tried to flash this, couldn't get past boot animation, just flashed gekke's blobs on top to see if it boots.
This latest build contains changes to make the Samsung smart cover function. Which makes the device turn on in my pocket. This is an issue that needs to be addressed soon.

It's stock cm12. Looks the same on every phone.
I believe I know what is causing the issues with the latest build. The boardconfig changed, and I was behind pulling from some repo's. To fix it I have to nuke my build environment and rebuild everything again. This usually takes 6 hours which means it will finish when I'm in bed. Expect a new build in 24 hours or so.
Hi all.
Can someone please explain in few words why CM ROMs are better than TW ROMs? What are the advantages of flashing CM builds over TW etc? Thx

The question for me is why does Samsung put TW on Android? Pure Android is so sexy. With CM it's even more.

As you all may know, Android development is not easy. With that said, anyone can learn how to do this stuff. It takes a lot of time and trial and error but it pays off in the end. Having started learning all this I now have 100 times more respect for the real developers that have doing such a wonderful job bringing all this stuff to our mobile devices. They put in hours of work to make all this happen. Please always give the utmost respect to any Mod, Dev or other users here on XDA or any site committed to Android. I want to encourage everyone to not just be a user but try to learn some cool new stuff in the process.

Code:
/*
* Your warranty is now void.

* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area) and I'm NOT going to add something other.
Features
Pure AOSP
It's pure AOSP (based on Slim and CAF)

NFC is stuck and causes a wakelock, remove NFC's APK from /system/app, so no, Android Pay does not work
And Baseband is not detected, this is a common issue with newer ROMs on the VS985, ill hunt down CM's commits for this
Probably a gapps issue, but Google Play Services refuses to work for signing in at the first boot, looking for my old gapps now, ill edit this if it was indeed because of the March 10th Gapps
Otherwise, it runs smooth as butter, keep up the good work!

I haven't seen your version of g3-common or anything but on most ROMs this winds up being what you need to do
As far as Gapps, it only happens when you install OpenGapps Stock builds, pico runs perfectly
as far as NFC, ill try replacing the apk for it and libs from CM or XenonHD and get those posted if they work

Found some odd little issue on the Newest Build, unsure if this one applies to the previous, but the Ringer, regardless of what ringtone is set, does not ring, and Autobrightness does not work, so turning it off is the only way to set brightness, and because you're using CM device trees and kernels, you technically have the proper libs, unless those files are on CM's venders for LG :silly:

Hey, thanks for pointing out those issues, yes i am using CM kernel and device trees i guess that's the reason brightness is not working properly because even CM had that issue many users reported that, i guess its fixed. Ill build again and see if these issues are fixed and if they are ill post the build. AOSPB guys haven't updated their source from past 17 Days that's the reason i didn't make a new build. Thanks once again

I will PM you, today's later build will feel like CM 11. But I do need your help before I release the last build.
I am waiting for the last build. My son loves his tablet, and I HATE the SD card limitations of 4.4.1. Root wouldn't be bad but isn't on any priority list.
Is there anything still not working? I'd love to be able to disable the camera... and limit the sound to a certain volume. I don't know if it is possible at all.

Go to, settings -----> general -----> applications -------> scroll to the right to all apps ------> find camera -----> and tap disable.
Sound limitation, that isn't possible.
Last build should be out anytime tonight through Sunday night CST.
