I can asure you the xperia keyboard is NOT working with Redmi Note 3 SD running miui 7 or 8.
It installs, but is nowhere to be found on the device!

copy the file go in \system\apps\music
and paste it there

Thanks that worked! I'm a big fan of the classic xperia keyboard. One thing I would like to ask. Is there any way to reduce the minimum amount of vibration on keypress? I have set it to lowest, but it's still pretty strong..

Can't uninstall Xperia home, my phone is not rooted, uninstall option for Xperia home is disabled after installing it, any solution?

Not working, still force closed. Maybe it needs some lib files. I also have changed the permission for the folder and file. But another apps work perfectly, thank you.

Go to setting-apps- Sony home- and clear its defaults..
Press hole button, it will ask u to select launchet, select stock one and then u will be able to uninstall it

Well... it's done before but it's not working.. clear data, uninstall- all options are disabled and not default is set..

Update:
You need to install home.apk too (see attachements)
To install it...
1. Force close sony erricson home from settings > application manager
2. Rename downloaded home.apk to home1.apk and copy it to /system/app
3. Change permissions to rw, r, r
4. Remove home.apk from /system/app (the stock one)
5. Rename home1.apk to home.apk
And you are done.

Yeah. The apks will work fine on 2.3.3.
And widget picker is an apk found inside the rar. Install it using application installer.

check out live wallpapers. has to be cosmic flow there.
see widgets. has to be something called clocks and tools there.
Does it work only with SE launcher, or 3rd party launchers (Go launcher etc.)?

You will need new Xperia S launcher, that supports these new widgets. However, when you apply it, it will have 4-corners UI, instead of "Arc" launcher.

You have to have a file explorer like root explorer.
Copy files to /system folder. Long click in each moved file, click permissions and a new screen will appear.
9 squares, 3x3.
Make them look like this:
X X -
X - -
X - -
Click Ok. Then move these files to /system/app folder and replace existing files.

I do it but now when i try to open phonebook it forcecloses
works fine on mine (62 fw green glow and the arc s home mod of vr5411's thanks doesnt bother me it running in bk ground all the while as im always on my fone generaly =)

Go to: Contacts->Filter->Contacts from phone->and select all contacts. I havent got this selected and i havent see contacts now is ok

How to Change the Dialer buttons I decompiled Almost every Single APK including these and all from ICS (Official), But i cannot Find these anyWhere, Any Idea of their Location
I saw a video made by Xperia developer from somewhere on YouTube, about what's the new features in Android 4.0 for the Xperia 2011 series. That video shows the new dialer functions.
There's something different compare to the screenshot in the thread, that in bottom tabs, the third tab is not the "favorite" , but the "groups". Inside this group tabs we can categorize contacts into different categories, like "family" ,"friends", and so on... also the " favorites" now placed in this third tab.
I'm sorry I don't have the screenshot. But I believe the video still on the YouTube. maybe you can start with the keyword "Android 4.0 for Xperia 2011", or try to open the Xperia developer channel.
I wish someone will able to port that new dialer for our gingerbread

Features I like:
-Bookmark function(star).
-Group messaging.
No bugs found.*Calendar.apk is really useful!
Features I like:
-The UI is a LOT better than default calendar
-Pop-up notification toggle in settings
-Zoom in/out function to view activities closely
-Search function if you have lots of activities
The only bug I see is:
-Zoom in/out function when viewing calendar by month. Calendar changes to random year.
PS. Where is the calendar widget? My calendar widget doesn't automatically add events.

I dont know if that can be changed somewhere in settings or not, but you can try downloading different launchers (there are tons of them in google play - Nova, Apex, Go, etc...). Using these, you will be able to change almost everything.

weird =/ if you replaced sony launcher apk, just revert and put the stock back with root explorer

apps drawer..?? means laggy home launcher you can use z2 home ported by @ashishdubey for cm11 its smooth no lagg at all

i am using xperia neo v but i don't feel laggy drawer i think its because your ram almost full

I have 280-330 mb free ram
Well, i think its because CM11 on SXS has bad 3d drivers... For example, notification bar also can be laggy

Cant download
Google docs show nothing
Album and Movies works fine.. but Walkman didn't work.. Moved to system/app.. after reboot, Walkman didn't show in app drawer..

if other walkman mod already present on your device then it will conflict with this apk first remove previous walkman apk through titanium backup or with root browser then install this apk again

by the way which rom you are using and also why don't you try z2 walkman port for cm11,cm10.2 cm10.1 by master @ibanez7 its surely work with our device
