[Bootanimation][720p] Five universal clean bootanimations (no logos, no texts) - Xiaomi Redmi 2 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hello,
I've been messing around customising my own Redmi 2 and in result i created a few custom boot animations. They are made out of GIFs found around internet.
My work was whole conversion GIF -> animation (splitting frames, re-editing everything, matching resolutions, changing image modes and all batch exports).
GIFs are generally kept in red-ish colouristic (due to the fact that Redmi 2 has 3 red buttons below screen) but if someone need any of these animations in other colour really really bad i can swap colours to other (within reasonable range, like I wont recolour it just to get a little brighter or darker red.... i can recolour it to green, blue, pink etc.).
Most of them are in 700x700 resolution with exception of last (which is in full 720p). Below are previews of them. First animations as you can see in the GIF while rest of them consists of 3 parts: intro where animation appears out of black, main part where animation is looped until device is ready and then last part, fadeout to black.

Thanks, it is exactly the kinda animation I was looking for.

Wow.. Superb Animations.. Thanks Bro..:good::highfive:

The best boot animations I have seen till date. Thanks a ton!

I tried flashing them after renaming, as you mentioned, but I got error.
"could not find 'META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary' in the zip file."

They are not meant to be flashed. Using root explore or other app that can browse filers on phone and access root/system folders (X-Plore for example|) you simply copy bootanimation.zip to ...\root\system\media\... where original bootanimation.zip is stored (backup it and then overwrite with new).

great share... it works fine

can you make a boot animation out of that Tipsy OS's Beer animation ?
Just a request. =)
Great work here.

I don't even have a redmi 2. I was looking for custom ROMs for my brother's phone and found this thread.... Incredible work @OP.
You should really post this stuff on other threads too. I know the OP and RN3 guys will love it.

Thanks

[SPLASH] Batman and Ghostbusters Splash Screens

I made these for my own enjoyment and thought I'd share them with the crowd!
If you enjoy them, give a thanks! If you don't, keep it to yourself.
Full disclosure, I didn't create any of the elements in these images. I just put various elements together. (But I did type "Who ya gonna call?" all by myself! Didn't even need spell check!)

Ghostbusters
The attached .zip file contains the .IMG files for both the Batman and the Ghostbusters splash screens. The files are named to show which is which. Before you try to flash the file they need to be renamed to "custom.img" (Not custom.img.img. Be careful Windows users!)
All you need to do is rename them are you are ready to go!
If you're a do it yourselfer, both images can be converted to 'custom.img' using the tool from this thread. That's what I used to create the .IMG files in the attached zip folder. So double thanks to TrueBlue_Drew!
Nice! This is going on my phone right now.

I have to admit that I liked the Batman one so much that after a day when I hit the power button the phone said "Seriously? You want to restart me again?"
I added the .IMG files to the first post to make these easier to use. You can still use the conversion tool if you want, but they should be ready to go as is now.
(I didn't realize I could host the files here originally)
Enjoy!
Just finished applying ghost-busters love it, please make more splash screen don't stop now

Hey I'm glad the Ghostbusters look good! I haven't even tried it yet! I'm still so enamored with the Batman one that I have no desire to change it.
I could make some others, but I don't have any ideas on what to do. I like the really professional looking HTC branded splash screens that some other people have made, but 1) I don't have the graphic design capability to make stuff like that and 2) I don't wanna.
I like super nerdy fun looking splash screens like the Ghostbusters and Batman. And those two just made sense for a phone because of "The Batphone" and "Who ya gonna call?"
If you give me another telephone relevant nerdy idea, I'll take a stab.
Big fan of both Batman and Ghostbusters so thanks for this.
Nice thanks alot big Ghostbuster Fan
thanks
These are good thanks!

[BOOT ANIMATION] Legend of Zelda

This is my first attempt at making a boot animation. It's just a basic LoZ boot ani made from the SNES version of Zelda. I hope you guys like it. Let me know what you think.
Here's what it looks like on youtube

If you want to download it, you can get the bootanimation zip file here

Boot Animation? replace the one in your /system/media folder. You don't flash boot animations.

But it can be done "in a flash"!
Ba dum bum!
Seriously it takes 3 seconds. All you have to you is rename the animation to want to 'bootanimation.zip' and put it in the appropriate folder. Sorry I can't think of which folder it is right now...but the info is readily available in this forum somewhere.
Just be sure to save the stock animation as another name first in case you ever want to go back for some reason.
And it's a pretty non toxic event to switch boot animations. If you put in a bad file, it doesn't bork the phone. It just skips the animation sequence on boot so you go splash screen, blank screen, then working phone.
Thanks for the support. I'm trying to make another one from OoT when link opens the Door of Time (except Android will be above the door instead of the Triforce). I'm not a great photoshopper, so I'll see if I can make it look halfway decent haha.
I know this is an old thread, but, this is awesome! Haven't had a chance to try it out yet since I kind of want to tweak it before I add it to my One x+. Can you by chance make the audio file so that it plays the rest of the clip with the sword dropping through the Z in "Zelda" ( I think it just needs to be 10 seconds longer). Also, where do I put the sound file in the system folder so that it plays when booting? I think my stock animation had it build into the file but not sure. Thanks so much!

[Boot Animation][Logo] Green/White Motorola - Flashing Atrix

Hey Guys,
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Xploited made a really cool boot logo / splash screen / w/e it's called. (You flash it with fastboot.) Read quote or original post here.
Here's an image: http://attachments.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=679864&d=1312671316
Here's the download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=679868&d=1312671341
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Using that I created a boot animation from it. The Motorola logo on it is green. And the text kinda flashes, like the windows 7 status bar...
It can be fixed, made better, more effects, so yea I will be updating this over time as my Photoshop/Gimp skills get better.
Take notice that the actual boot animation is much better than the gif below...

If anyone would like to implement this in their rom / w/e, just go and do it... You don't have to ask!
Nice! For some reason the boot animation is slanted and looks weird. Logo.bin is fine. When you compressed the zip did you set it to store? Also I'm on neutrino ROM! Can you also make the boot animation exactly as the boot logo but make the letters flash like a dark gray? Thanks.

Thanks, Yea I set it to store when I zipped it. I thought that it was my phone that displayed the animation as slanted. Anyways I would appreciate any help to get it fixed, because for some reason, every boot animation I make gets slanted and I don't know why. I made a thread here, feel free to help in either of these threads.
And yes I will try to make a dark gray version... Expect it in the next 3 days...
Until I can find out why every boot animation I make is slanted I'm holding all the animations I made. Sorry guys, they looked pretty go too!

I liked and I had to have it done.
I decided to share with you
v2 - bootanimation.zip (landscape mode)
v2 - bootanimation.zip (portrait mode)
I recommend the one in lendscape mode, but for those who just want bootanimation in portrait mode (slightly elongated ).... I made it.
Added a bootsound
Enjoy
Would this also work as a down animation if named and permissioned correctly? I'm no themer and have never attempted creating my own boot/down anims and thus have no idea the effort required to make them. If no, any chance you would be willing to tweak it to work as a down animation? Thanks much in advance, I really like this.

I have not tried it like downanimation, but it should work.
It seems to me that just might be too long, so it should be shortened a bit
Rename it and try if it works.
If somethings needs changing tell me what it is and I'll try to modify it.
thanks

That's a slick animation my friend! Thanks.
thanks
thanks.. i like
I make a bootanimation sound...
If I remember correctly, you need to put android_sound.mp3 to /system/customize/resource/ directory
P.S.
After download, rename android_audio.mp3.$$$ to android_audio.mp3
Anyone have this bootanimation modified without the text at the end?
I tried doing it from my phone and the animation goes for about 70% of what it should be, stutters and then loops. Created it on my pc and got the same result....
I've modified countless boot animations before...but now I'm stuck like a noob...
Thanks.

Cyanogenmod9 Boot Animation

Hi everyone, today I'm going to share with you the Cyanogenmod9 boot animation which I have modded to my needs and I thought I'd share it with everyone.
At first I was about to render the After Effects project file into a movie and then split it up into frames and all that until I realised that they actually share downloadable versions of the boot animation.
So basically all I did here was increase the loops on the second part to make it not start over so that it looks the same like in the real Cyanogenmod9 boot.
Here are 2 screenies:

I've got a video aswell but it is watermarked to a blog and people here will probably complain.
Instructions (For Custom ROMs which are custom bootanimation ready):
1. Transfer the bootanimation.zip file to your SD card.
2. Use any Root Browser app and copy the bootanimation.zip and then go to directory /system/media and replace your old one with this one.
3. Reboot and enjoy the animation.
Instructions (For Stock ROM users):
1. Download the Files.zip and extract it, you will get 2 files.
2. Use any Root Browser app to transfer the 2 files from your SD card to the directory /system/bin
3. After you have done that, transfer the bootanimation.zip file to directory /system/media as mentioned above.
4. Reboot and enjoy custom boot animations.
The files are attached below.
Thanks to http://cyanogenmod.com for the animation.
Feel free to press thanks if you want.
I will not be liable for any damages you cause to your phone while doing this procedure, so be careful!
Nice share my thanks comes after test.
GREEEEEEEEEETZ!!!
Thanks, let me know if you like it if you feel like testing.
hmmm
the same bootanimation from bazzrom 2.2...

iplaygalaxyy for android
I've never even heard of that name before. I used the animation files from the official cyanogenmod site and increased the loop counts of second part so that animation doesn't start over until the phone is at the homescreen
