Snpachat Video Recording Delay - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey, I hope this is the right category for this.
I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016). I've just updated the phone to Android 6.0.1 and Snapchat started to lag.
When I press the record button to record a video, there is almost a 2 second delay before it actually starts recording which is very frustrating.
Any idea on how to solve this problem?

I also have this same issue. It seems to happen on both the back and front cameras and I can't find anything in the settings which would indicate this delay.
I'm on the Galaxy S5, Android 6.0.1, but this has been happening before the update

[Q] Problem recording videos on Snapchat

Whenever I try to record a video on Snapchat, it automatically stops after a second or two. I don't lift my finger off the record button, but it still stops! It's kind of annoying, and I was wondering whether anyone knows why? Other devices don't seem to have this problem.

Noise Reduction for Video recording?

My T-Mo S5 is running UVU1DOB1 (5.0) Stock, but rooted by me.
So..
I do a lot of recordings (just for Instagram) of concerts for part of my job and every video I take is completely distorted!
A friend of mine and I were at the same concert and his recording (right next to me) of that part of the show sounded great on his iPhone 6 but mine sounded horrible.
I looked through settings in the camera and also googled for any answers but found none.
Is there an app to set either of the microphones sensitivity?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Definitely not against flashing another custom ROM to fix the issue, as long as it connects to my Galaxy Gear 2.
**I was thinking of trying Blisspop but was using CM12 at the time of starting to record some shows and didn't seem to find any settings on the new 5.1.1 to help the volume issue.
TIA for any help!! :good:

About bluetooth audio delay or lag in games?

My model is SM-G965F/DS
Youtube is in sync even my videos playing through mxplayer and music aswell but when I play games, audio tends to delay for like a second. It's bothering me, I did try turning off wifi and scan nearby devices and still the same results. Tried 3 bluetooth earphones so far and all of them delays. Even my samsung level active on aptx codec. Is there anyway to fix this? will changing rom fix this? settings on changing the codec doesn't seem to stick.

A little bit different of a situation that I've got here, but I, too, began to notice the Bluetooth lag issue when playing music from my phone on my pioneer head unit after updating to the One UI beta. It got to the point where I couldn't even skip tracks and the album/artist/song title wouldn't even show up on it either. It just said "No Data Provided"
Anyway, I restored an old smartswitch backup and everything was working like it was supposed to again. I finally just re-updated to pie again, hoping that whatever was goin on with the Bluetooth in the beta would be fixed in this "Official" Pie update....yeah, not so much
meet the problem once i was playing PUBG, and solved with Pie.

Recording internal audio on video

Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows if its possible to record internal audio whilst taking a video. For example on my old samsung galaxy S5, if I was listening to music with my headphones and I record a snapchat or instagram then the video would record the sound in perfect quality.
My honor 10 doesnt seem to do this. I'm quite sure I never enabled this or downloaded an app on my old phone. Just wondering if anybody knows if it's possible?
thank
press vol up + power then swipe right and select the source

Videos start muted

I have a Galaxy S9 running Pie.
If I record videos with the built in camera, when I open these in gallery and start to play them back, they all start muted.
I have to click the unmute button the hear the sound. (bottom left)
I've searched for days and can't find a setting anywhere.
Any one got any ideas, it's driving me insane.
That's why samsung sucks a lot bugs in there android skin.
I know it sucks.
Bixby doesn't work in the UK, apps get installed without permission etc. Apps you can't remove without rooting (Samsung Pay).
But it's still better than apple.
