Before doing anything to your device I'd recommend that you read through the various threads within the first section below, entitled GENERAL GUIDES so that you are familiar with the various terminology used and you never know you'll probably find an answer to your problem.....
It's also recommended that you install adb/fastboot onto your pc before you start to touch your device so that you have the required tools to execute the necessary commands and to provide other users debugging/logcat information regarding any issues you encounter. This can be a big help when attempting to fix/solve any subsequent problems you experience. You'll find a guide on how to install this within the GENERAL GUIDES section below.
If development on any of the ROMs below or any other entry has been ceased or is no longer valid then I would appreciate if someone (preferably the thread owner (OP)) could contact me and inform me so that I can label it as #CLOSED#. It may also be a good idea for the thread owner to contact any Moderator) and request that the thread is closed.

TWRP recovery for Deb Nexus 7 LTE
if you want to add in the OP post you're free to do =)
Custom Rom
pacMan rom 4.3 for deb, can be founded in nexus 7 original android developer, here the link to the forum, and here the link to Build 1 download =)
also, fyi, there are TWRP versions available for this already
http://www.teamw.in/project/twrp2/194
edit - damn I got ninja'd
I will update tomorrow, don't be afraid, but I had a busy day at work...
How nice it is to have a deb subforum
Can also add carbon rom to the list, had it running before switching to PAC
Also kernels are not device specific so all should work on flo and deb. I've successfully flashed Faux, Franco and n3o kernels, haven't tried any others.

For almost of kernels, their should work on flo and deb, but I prefer add those which work perfectly with Deb.
That's why I will send a post to dev of kernel for telling me that it works with DEB.
I know that the kernel from n3ocort3x works well
Thanks for other infos

For those unlocking a brand new Nexus 7, several things will not be visible: Settings->Developer Options, and within that screen the "USB Debugging" option.
To make these visible, select Settings->About Tablet, then scroll to the bottom of the list, and tap "Build Number" seven (7) times.
That will make Settings->Developer Options visible. Within the Developer Options screen you will find a "USB Debugging" check box.

It's for all androphone since 4.2
And it's necessary if you want to become a dev,
But if I wrote to check 'USB debugging' and 'Unknown sources', it's because it's often forgotten, even if there is a pop-up for debugging.

[ROM] [4.4.4] [Zaphods AK-CM11-F2FS Rom]

Greetings Earthlings,
This rom works is based on CM11 but works with F2FS file system. To use it you need to format the following partitions to F2FS format:
- system
- cache
- data and data/media
Philz recovery is easiest to do this.
Then,
flash this rom, followed by the gapps of your choice, followed by AK cm11 kernel (mandatory or it wont work - 0.75+).
Thanks and credits to @ak @CyanogenMod
I'll be developing this and aim to release updates on a weekly basis. Currently is does exactly what CM11 bacon nightlies do, no more, except that it runs on F2FS. Updates will add to and select from the best bits.
Download here and enjoy.
What is included in this ROM some informations would be nice

Done. I'll add more details as I add more/change from the CM11 base.

[ROM] [N6P] DLROM AOSP android-6.0.1_r53 MTC19X

THIS IS NO LONGER MAINTAINED.
This is my first attempt at a ROM.
I have it on my 6P and not have noticed any issues.
I took the source from android.google.com and community patches.
Each commit in my Github repos link back to any code I got elsewhere.
The kernel is stock AOSP.
I am just using the binary one that google offers through https://android.googlesource.com/platform/manifest
I believe its code is located at (and can only be compiled on linux, OS X cannot do it): git clone https://android.googlesource.com/kernel/msm.git
Instructions if you want: https://source.android.com/source/building-kernels.html
If you want the source:
Follow https://source.android.com/source/requirements.html
repo init -u https://github.com/dl200010/android_manifest.git -b dl_android-6.0.1_r53
I suggest these GApps, if you want them (Platform and Android versions preselected. Just choose variant:

Download

Always nice to see new work!!!! Keep it going.
Woow, a clean one.
Great base for custom mods.:good:
Maybe you can make this a "cherry picked" rom.
Just add in future basic stuff, like nav bar midifications, led settings, statusbar mods, notification drawer rearrange, and few basic stuff. No need for cmte or other stuff.
Just clean mods. And to keep as minimal as possible.
+ mods to speed it up, the overall performance.:good:
Mods are planed but there may always be a mod free version at the least.
First clean AOSP Rom on my nexus 6P. Let's see how well it plays with Xposed.
Thanks OP
