post ur questions here

How unlock SM-G930P?

I'd like to know?

send me pm ill send u instructions there

Deleted, so I don't contribute to help form anyone's opinions. And if anyone see's my old posts in a quoted response, I'm here saying that I was wrong and I had no proof of and rule breaking here on XDA.

Im dying for a solution here. Please do tell.

i m not giving solution just can do via usb over network

Why is this thread not deleted? It's obvious BS in this community we share information freely, not via PM.

u just need to install flexihub and teamviewer what else information you need?

My apologies to the OP. I was unaware of the details involved to achieve the unlocking of the sim. So here im admitting to my jumping to conclusions and being a asshole. You would think with how long I've been here on XDA that I would know better than to be so judgmental. So I'm sorry to the OP for opening my big mouth. My bad bro.

I tried to pm the OP and he told me I had to install all this crap via "TeamViewer" and something else on my computer, then i had to install skype or some other application all just to get some instructions from this person. I mean, why can't you just post the instructions here for everyone to see, and use? My having to go install all that crap on my computer, in an attempt to get your so called directions makes me not trust you. Why do you gotta be so God damn shady?
Anyways, im not wasting anymore of my time looking at your stupid/uninformitive thread. Im just wasting my time and bumping this worthless thread. Smh

It's also complete BS I have learned it's actually impossible to get a Sprint S7 unlocked anyway besides on the Sprint side. So unless this guy is hacking Sprints servers he is scamming people.

What is this, another advertisement (wolf) in sheeps clothing? Only telling you how in pm's so they can charge you $$$ without their thread getting deleted by the mods, instead of posting the instructions here for everyone to see? Seems sketchy to me... what do you think mods???
I mean, if im wrong please forgive me but the op not posting the instructions here tells me their hiding something??? OP, and thoughts?

To perform certain functions (sometimes including SIM unlock), you need a dongle or some other piece of hardware (most of which are expensive). Hence why the OP requires you to install flexihub, which allows your PC to access remote USB ports and, thus, remote USB devices. So, now that we are aware of what is going on here, please check the judgemental attitudes at the door, and if you don't want to participate in this thread, then you are free not to...
The OP is provide a service for free for the benefit of the community. Now, if this was not provided for free, then that would be a different story, and I would have shut the thread down long ago if I had proof of that.

Not in this case, I've confirmed with a sprint tier 3 support technician at a call center here in Portland. It's a white list on the server side. You can use all the hardware you want, do whatever you want to the phone without the sprint server authorizing ICCID unlock it's not happening. Period. So again this is a scam.

You may very well be correct. However, I don't intend on choking off a thread that could potentially work until we see confirmation either way by someone who has tried the service.

You can do research to confirm Sprints new method of of controlling ICCID unlocks via the the server side. It's all out there. Meantime potentially our xda members could be getting ripped off.. Just saying. But hey what do I know lol.

Funny, because there's a user here on xda who has been unlocking Sprint HTC devices for a while now, and it has been confirmed by many others...

Like I said, you may be correct, and there may be something specific about the S7, but we need confirmation from a user here, not from Sprint tech support...

but i m wondering why people not posting feedback who got unlocked by me. i have other threads check if i have done scam or some thing with any one .

Do you have any proof of your allegations? Because I didn't, and I deleted my posts cuz i had no proof that the OP had broken any XDA rules. In addition, until we see a user here on XDA that own's a galaxy s7 (Sprint) that says his process works or it doesn't work, we should continue to keep a neutral opinion and let the OP do his thing.

I have looked over your other threads and I seen no indication of you breaking any rules, or ripping anyone off, so hopefully you and I are good. Are you and I good? I went back and deleted my inappropriate comments and I apologized to you for my opening my big mouth.
As for the others not reporting feedback, if you in fact helped them unlock their phones, then they have a obligation to you to post their feedback, and if they didn't, then SHAME on them.. And did you mean to say that you've been a member since 2005?

And to the MODERATOR, perhaps you should delete some of my unneeded comments, just to clean his thread up a bit so my big mouth doesn't help form any bad opinions of the OP? Anyways, imma shut up now and stay out of the OP's thread, lol...

[Q] Samsung Fascinate 16 digit password?

Does anyone know the 16-Digit Password for the Fascinate? I have tried brute forcing it with almost every known samsung password but none work! Does anyone know the method used to retrieve the password? Is it done by dumping a specific memory range or do these passwords just get leaked by samsung? Willing to pay for the password at this point if anyone can point me in the right direction. TIA!
I too like to know.

yeah, so this is completely unknown at this time. Can you find this info from looking @ phone files or filesystem? Or does it need to come direct from an insider at Samsung ?

Attached is a screenshot taken on ipchicken. As you can see im getting a sprint dns pool and the model is showing SCH-I500. I guess I could have faked this by tethering the phone to another phone already on sprint, but this is the best proof I can think of.

where did you get the code from that you had to pay $50?
Guys, as per the forum rules, you can't solicit payment up-front.
That's not in the spirit of the forum, and I would suggest the user claiming to have the code may wish to post it, and accept donations to make up the cost.
Selling this code isn't allowed on the forum, so I have removed the offer of sale from the thread. I will leave this open, but if it returns to talk of selling it, this will be closed.

That file is the build.prop with a different name. All it does is tell the phone that there is a smart_io.crd file, but it doesn't have the right information on it. You could name anything smart_io.crd and you'll get the same results.
No linking to his website. He's been banned from xda and we won't allow linking to websites where devs charge for work freely obtainable on xda.
I don't mean to show any disrespect, nor get involved in politics, but is there a root somewhere for hboot 1.5 that's freely available?

I get that he was banned for stuff but linking to the "think tank forum section" where they are actually working on the s-off process and doing so for free shouldn't be an issue really. no?
Or is it the fact he provides stuff for charge on a completely different and unrelated section of his site that can be done for free?
regardless seems hes messing with the smart_io.zip thing that the devs here rattled around for a long time before we got s-off. So far doesn't look like much more than a bunch of trial going on and somewhat familiar to what it looked like here to start with too.
How does one boot the phone and then be able to get the sd card in? the battery needs to be out for the sd switch?

I never abuse my moderator position in order to "fight my personal battles", so suggesting it is a waste of time.
If you still think I'm being a ****, go cry to the admin.
ok, back to business
So does this tool work, or not?
And where do I find this tool now that the link is gone?? (Mod, you have done a disservice here, unless that tool is already available on XDA. And if it is, where exactly is it?)
It doesn't appear to work, atm. Follow @evil_devnull on twitter or check his tweets at www.twitter.com/evil_devnull
@ scotsman, so even if he isn't requiring money for THIS project, nor on THAT site, you're going to stifle the news of his work by deleting links to THIS project at THAT site even though the issue is with another project altogether? Seems to me you should be blocking THOSE links that lead to the specific objectionable content, as we members clearly want to share news of THIS project and THAT site. Because there is NO current hboot 1.5 root anywhere free, or otherwise. I'm all for maintaining principles, but there is nothing against your stated principles on THAT site. So please stop blocking THIS news from spreading until there's something objectionable here. Otherwise it's called censorship, not protecting principles. You're blocking links just because they are associated with him and for no other reason.

As I said, feel free to complain higher up if it bothers you that much.
I do not have a Twitter account and do not intend to open one.
So what other site has the info available?
Mod, I suggest YOU ask the admin what to do, because this seems stupid. We need the info which you are suppressing.
How about Hboot.000012? please don't ignore our GSMers, really need to unlock + soff and start flashing.
In all fairness, the_scotsman is correct. Most of you that aren't familiar with the HTC EVO SHIFT rooting drama, don't know the full story behind why he was banned. It's easy to look at one side of the story then just ignore the rest, but probably not very wise. I'm sure plenty of you have read the information/stories on devnull's website, although perhaps you should trust in the moderator's decisions since there is a lot that happened that you guys don't know about.

Petition HTC an Verizon to unlock our bootloader!

I created this http://www.change.org/petitions/htc...unlock-the-droid-incredible-4g-lte-bootloader. to petition the unlock of the bootloader. We can't just sign a petition an pray for it to happen. We must get on their Facebook, twitter an any social media site they have pressuring them into this. Don't go post "hey assholes unlock our device", that won't help, just makes you look stupid! Post on their something like "I've been with you since 2005,long time customer, but you locking my device down in unacceptable! If this isn't fixed shortly I will leave for another company!" stuff like that over an over will get their attention. At the same time spread the word of the site an the unfairness of both the companies.
It's time to rise up an show them, without us, they are nothing!

a few other notes:
if anyone has some suggestion, like change this or other stuff. bring it up here,so we can all discuss it. this is a community.even though the petition has my name on it,its all for you guys. so if their isnt something in it you dont like, well didnt i say bring it up?? lets all work together on this.
If anyone has heard back from either company, please share it here with everyone.
I might delete some comments in the future, just to showcase responses back from people or other stuff. It's not personal .

Include the HTC Incredible 4G LTE in HTCdev's unlockable bootloader program
Upon release of the HTC Incredible 4G LTE, HTCdev included the phone in its unlockable bootloader program. Within a matter [of] days, the phone was removed from the program, presumably at the request of Verizon Wireless. There is no clear reason as to why this phone was removed from the program, as users of the bootloader unlock suffered no ill effects.
This petition is being put forth to both HTCdev and Verizon Wireless to request that the HTC [Droid] Incredible 4G LTE be reinstated into the unlockable bootloader program. Support of open development drives innovation and sales. HTC's software developers can learn from the developer community while Verizon Wireless can benefit from end-users upgrading/renewing their plans to take advantage of this new phone. Furthermore, this simple act would incline users to recommend both HTC products and Verizon Wireless service in the future.
Inclusion of the HTC Incredible 4G LTE into HTCdev's unlockable bootloader program is in the best interest of HTC, Verizon Wireless, and end-users. Please take action on this matter as soon as possible.

Agreed. This is similar to the letter I wrote to the regional prez for VZW covering South Carolina. Granted mine was 3 pages long and covered individual issues I've had with VZW. Of course I never got a reply.

Op updating
The several posts that were deleted were on-topic and showed contribution from the community to writing/revising this petition, I don't see why they were removed. This also eliminated the possibility of thanking users for various contributions. I'm new to posting on XDA, and now I'm missing out on any opportunity to add to my thanks meter.
The OP's petition still retains the old petition letter below the description. I initially thought these would be non-editable so I created a separate petition (really, I'm surprised that a petition author can change the letter AFTER signatures have been added, but change.org seems to allow this). I now see that the OP can in fact edit all aspects of the petition (except maybe the url), and so users should sign that when it is completely updated.
signed.
but should it say "HTC and Verizon" not "an" ?
Guys please read the op over again. I currently stated that some posts would be deleted, it's in order to show who signed an has heard back from either company.
I will be adding to the op who has helped an stuff, just please bare with me on this. I have a lot going on with xda.
Here is what i Got from VZW. I talked to Scott today and he offered me a different device saying that the letter states VZW's stance on the bootloader being unlocked. He actually started the offer with a Galaxy S3 and I said Rezound if I was going to do that. It was for a certified used device with cover and battery. He said my plan and everything would stay the same. He gave me until Friday for the offer.

Did they offer you the S3 at upgrade price? Without losing unlimited data? In the letter I wrote to the regional prez for the Carolinas, I told them I'd be willing to pay for a new phone at upgrade price if I didn't lose my unlimited data, but haven't heard anything back.

1) Other users have mentioned the use of "an" in place of "and"; these are two very different words. I hope you'll reconsider this habit in the future.
2) The letter just beneath the description of the petition still contains the old petition's text: "HTC an Verizon are abusing their abilities...". I'm very uncomfortable signing the petition with this letter still in place.
3) The paragraph breaks are missing from the letter. The breaks help emphasize different points and are appropriate.
4) When introducing HTCdev, it would be best to first list the name, then follow with the web address. In the first paragraph, replace "http://www.htcdev.com" with "HTCdev (htcdev.com)".
Please realize that we are trying to petition some very large corporations. Professionalism is a must if we expect to be taken seriously. Attacks on their name or reputation are only going to guarantee non-response. Poor grammar and structure will also leave our petition ignored. HTC and Verizon Wireless will have a more difficult time combating reason and intellect, and for this I think the community should strive.
I copied everything you posted in the pm. I'm not obligated to do this for y'all, I'm trying to help out. This will be updated when I have the time. If you want to start your own be my guest. Don't get mad or something with me, when I'm busy doing stuff around xda an in my life.
Honestly you should be glad, that I'm doing this for you guys. I don't mind a little nudge here or there to fix stuff. Just don't badger me over stuff.

did someone in our community ask you to make the petition?
If not.. you did this on your on time and doing.
so we would like to be taken seriously, no on is putting you down, I've had issues with mdmower, but I have to agree with the polite way he approached you about the petition, but I found your response a bit childish in the manner you had let us know that you aren't doing this because you have to but rather YOU chose to.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate you and what you're doing.
but I don't NEED to be glad about anything that you are doing, so for you to say "Honestly you should be glad, that I'm doing this for you guys." is completely childish IMO and I don't agree with it one bit.
If you don't want to be bothered over "stuff" then why are you the OP?
I'm confused.
If it possible please ignore my actions last night. I was stressed out over my job interview I had this morning.
I'm sorry for the way I acted.

Why is verizon so determined to block root?

I havent even gotten the phone yet, it's in the mail. Thankfully i came in here to read and now i know to block ota if i want any hope of getting root.
But it leaves me wondering why do they hate rooting so much? Wireless tether is legal on Verizon and most anything else i can think of would hurt google and app devs before verizon...

it's not just verizon. the sprint s4 has the same going on. at least according to someone i know that has one. it supposedly has something to do with the knox crap and possibly the lojack stuff they're trying to add to the phones.
i haven't bothered to confirm any of this. just got it from a bit of skimming. work's picking up a bit so i haven't been able to read as much.
It is all about security. Rooted phones do not work well with secure environments. I mean if you really think about it. With the right set up any app can be given root permissions without the user even knowing.

It also voids warranty. If I were selling a product and the consumer rendered the device useless through mods and what have you, I wouldnt want to warranty it either. One of many reasons.

I can totally understand it---there could be a lot of headaches for the carrier. That said, I wish Verizon would not block it so much as give the user a Verizon-approved way to root with copious warnings about all the terrible things that can happen. It seems to me that would be sufficient.

Yeah but that brings its own worries. They did give at least an option. The Dev Edition.

Very true, and it's pretty clear from the name that you're getting something different.
It also presents a problem with technical support. A standardized system is far easier to troubleshoot than one wroth dozens of unknown variables.
Also, the OP is only partially correct regarding wireless tether. While Verizon cannot block users from using third party tether apps, they also have the FCC's explicit blessing to require a separate tethering fee for unlimited plan holders

HTC lets you unlock the bootloader via a code on their website specific for the individual phone's serial number. One clicks to waive the warranty to get the unlock code, and anyone can boot the phone into bootloader mode to see "unlocked" or "tampered" displayed. That means no warranty.
Verizon was OK with it for HTC phones.
$$$$
Its all about the money they lose so much money as a company.. even though they make billions monthly they still are all about making the consumers pay more
For the s4 its all about security. Samsung is trying to get into the corporate phone market. They released this new locked down bootloader to make companies feel all warm and fuzy. My company allows me to access my work email on my phone but to do so I have to have the phone encrypted with no root.

Verizon Blocks Users from Root
Yeah, I'm having that issue myself. I have rooted my previous devices but just purchased a Motorola Turbo from VZW which is LOADED with bloatware that won't go away. So, I thought I'd go the "decent" route and see if they may be nice in return and help me unlock my phone. Holy cow, you'd think I was trying to hack Fort Knox or the Fed! The Mod at the Verizon Community Website summarily deleted my question regarding this. Well, admittedly, I probably was stupid for doing that but, again, I thought I would be "nice" about it but they decided to get nasty and tried scaring me by tell me I was "in violation of FCC regulations and my terms of service" if I even attempted to root my device and he was going to "open an investigation into my "hacking" activities." Wow, talk about a Mod with delusions of god-hood! Okay, illegal to root MY phone, which I PAID for. So, I called VZW CS (I hate talking) and explained my issue and got a complete dolt (as expected) who didn't have a clue even what the Verizon Community Website was...fact is, my only desire is to remove the damn bloat-ware, ads, etc. and increase the battery life. This phone has such potential and they lock it down to such extremes, it's really disappointing. Finally, I got fed up and asked for her supervisor, who was not much better. Supposedly, she is escalating this to Tier 3 Support. Permission to have root access to MY own phone. I was a sys admin for 25+ years and never had to ask permission for root access for my computers...

Buy a Nexus 6p or 5x.
A little late for that.
I thought the new Droid Turbo just got root and bootloader unlock... I think it was RootJunky or DroidModderX who just put up a video on that...
That said, like smitchell said, it's Samsung trying to capture the corporate market from Blackberry, and Verizon wanting money from users, combining to screw over people like us who want to flash custom software.

You misunderstand, Friend. I meant that I had purchased my Motorola Turbo too recently, so the prospect for purchasing another would be impossible at this time.

From what I've read, Verizon has made it impossible to do, unless you want to pay $20 for mofo, and that's no guarantee. Where is this video?
Thanks!
Verizon is evil. I have a Galaxy Note Pro from them that I can't even put linux on due to the locked bootloader and kernel without chroot. It's a sad state of affairs. The government should have laws for giving consumers rights to use their devices as they wish

In almost every of your new stream, you tell us about your feelings and this is very important, but not one of them does not talk about bypass the notallow for writing to partititions, read system or directory misc. During the three years of BS's existence, it was already possible to learn this by heart. But not having BS2 available, you decided to start working by testing on users who have them. Very original approach. In principle, I assumed this from the very beginning, that those who offer anything to flash, in fact, does not have a device and all the knowledge about it will come from the BS1 stream.

You start lying, deceiving again. I suggest the facts & proof/experiments and all the operations are successful with mine, any model, any version. It's your turn to stop those bad action. I never saw you tell the truth, facts or proof. Even it seems that you don't know what you are saying. Your words are totally not logical, not related, or wrong info. I really will never answer your verbal diarrhea again.

I'm not offended with you kid, because I bought my phone on the cheap thanks to your efforts. And if you still doubt my reputation, attach the Russian flag to your profile and get the same likes on XDA as I do. When you're done with this, we'll talk about your reputation. And in vain, you think that insulting me and provoking, you will get here at least one code associated with the loader from me.
Thanks for the info and tools, hope you're going to release it soon!
