[WatchFace] TrombT1 - a very nice watchface i made (FREE only here on XDA) - Wear OS Software and Hacking General

Hi guys, recently i had some time to learn some Java, and since there was not any watchface i liked in particular i decided to make one by myself.
SCREENSHOTS BELOW
APK ATTACHED TO POST, SEE BOTTOM
My objective was to make a watchface as realistic as possible, and i achieved this with reflections based on hand movement, realistic minutes and seconds hands that smoothly move following force law and high res textures.
Even if it looks an heavy computing app it is butter smooth in my G Watch R and cpu isn't much stressed.
It is the closest to real smartwatch i've seen.
I'm giving this to you hoping you all like it, if you want you can help me keeping up with this just by downloading and rating the free app, which is the same as the paid one except for advanced effects like reflections and force based hands movement:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=wear.trombettonj.trombt1steelfree
And here is the paid app, with the lowest possible price i could set in play store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=wear.trombettonj.trombt1steel

Never mind. I have located a bunch of watch faces online. But what I meant by "realistic looking date" is the small glass bubble located on real watches to magnify the date number (like on a Rolex or a Panerai). Thanks anyway.

Thanks for giving the XDA community exclusive free access. Its pretty cool of you
Also, this is completely unrelated to the topic... But could you make a digital watchface? That would be awesome! I can't find any digital watchface that I like.

GemDrops is a fun and increasingly frantic game in which gems of different colours fall into the playing area. Your task is to rotate and rearrange the gems to form connected groups of five or more of the same colour. Gems fall in pairs under player control but can be rotated and moved around to control where they land.
Once a group is formed, it will disappear from the game, causing any gems resting above to fall down. These can create "chain reactions" of further groups to provide an increasing score multiplier for extra high scores.
The game starts with four colours of gems, but additional gem colours are introduced as the game progresses. The speed of play gradually increases too to keep things challenging.
From time to time a "rainbow gem" will appear in play. When this lands, all gems of the type that it lands on will be removed from the board (though no points will be awarded for these gems). This can be very useful to help clear the board or to set up chain reactions within the remaining gems.
Smartphones and devices with a directional pad can use the d-pad to control the game. For devices with touch screens and no d-pad, the screen itself can be touched to rotate, move and drop the gems in play.

@[ElCondor] interesting post on WP7 on the front page
OK OK alright.
Thanks The0ne, I enjoy writing my opinion about it!

Flippable agenda?

I'm looking for an agenda with flippable pages, like the one of ipad. Does such a thing exist for our tabs?
Try the pro version of the Wizz widget from the Market.
I meant something eye candy, with flippable pages like a real book. Like the ipad one

Can you be more specific? I believe most of the colors are customizable other than the tabs and some of the buttons.

[FACE] Retro LCD for Facer

Just finished creating my first set of Facer watch faces, and thought I would offer them up for download. I plan to keep improving them, so stay tuned!
* NOTE: As of this posting, the only version that is available is for 320px by 320px devices. It was designed on the Gear Live, but plans are to create variants for 240px by 240px, and the round Moto 360/future devices.

step counter
Hi Scar,
I just noticed this morning (installed it last night) that the step counter display is fixed at 14995 (or something in that order) instead of the actual value of 38.
If you can export flat text of the code (or an idea of how to decode the binary), I can modify and test on my LG G Watch and get it back to you.
I'm not very familiar with Facer but I can give it a try.
Regards,
Rh.
nvm
I opened up Facer and edited the face myself. I did some small adjustments.
I raised the time, date, battery up and left 20 units each and removed the droid and the step counter. Those things are almost always covered by the google cards anyways.
Thank you very much for this watch face, it is definately my favourite.
I'm using a LG G Watch, btw.

Hey Ironman_stittsville,
Sorry I missed your message, but yea, the step counter inaccuracy is actually a known bug with Facer itself. The dev is great however, and while Facer still isn't at v1.0 yet, I imagine he'll get everything working soon enough.
Thanks for the kind feedback regarding my face though!
Hi all, quick note to let you know that I've updated the Retro LCD watch face (both normal and inverted) to remove the (buggy) step-counter, and instead replace with weather information, including icons.
Here's a shot of the new UI:

is LG G watch 240x240? this is the only face i really want!

Watchmaker Review

I came across an outstanding watch face application called Watchmaker. The tool is easy to use and the support has been outstanding. Watchmaker is very addicting I started making a simple face and slowly kept on adding more refinement to my faces and now have 3 for various activities. Is anyone else using Watchmaker?

100% agree - I have had nothing but a good experience with WatchMaker and there are some awesome text / shader effects - you can see some of them in my designs below - you can download them from my link below and import them straight into WatchMaker!

You can just import it direct into the app to play with the watch. All feedback welcome!
Moto 360 Faces Google Drive Folder
Just wanted to share this video I made about how smooth the animation is in WatchMaker vs Facer :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04zN...ature=youtu.be
The whole thread is over at the link below, but I figured it was worth noting for people on LG Watch too …

Great app but I'm having trouble selecting an image for a background. Every time I try to pick one or modify an existing one, the app crashes on me straight away. Anyone else with the same issue or know a way to fix it?
Really great app. Do you know where to get more .watch files?

There is a "WatchMaker" community on Google+ that is quite active. They post links to a lot of Watchmaker designs on there.

Is it possible?

Is it possible to install other watches stock watchfaces to our watch. If it possible then how can we find them and install?

Are the stock watch faces not all made and/or released by Google and thus the same across Android Wear devices? That was my understanding (Google wanted a pure experience with Android Wear and thus shut the OEM's out of software development).

I suppose you could, the question is - much like getting your tap water from your neighbors house in the same city block - what's the point? Is it not the same stuff?
I don't know how to accomplish this - probably scan for apk's on the watch - if the faces are all the same, I just don't see the reasoning behind it.
EDIT: Maybe they can be different...I have not seen this one yet:

You should be able to find some stock ones using WatchMaker or Facer.
