Hey guys, just got a Mate 2, and i can't find the reverse charging cable in my country. From what i understand i can't use any normal male micro usb to male micro usb cable, it is a special "one way" one. Do you know any "compatible" one from another device, or the schematics to build one on my own?
On second thought, would it work, using a male usb to male micro usb adaptor with a OTG cable?
You can order it directly from Huawei which is what I did cheap works well and have used it on my s3 with the zero lemon 7500 mah battery to charge other devices as well.

It looks like it's possible to use some USB Ethernet adapters with some Android tablets, but is it possible to have it running on AC power at the same time?
I suppose that this can be achieved with some special OTG cable, if it is possible at all. Have anyone been successful with this?
Please share what's your setup, i.e what tablet do you have, what Ethernet adapter works with it, and what kind of OTG cable are you using.
Direct links (Amazon, eBay, etc...) are very welcome for Ethernet adapters and OTG cables.

Hi, I tried with a otg cable which had an additional port for power but it's just for when u use hdds who needs more power then 450 mA to run. Android is not allowing to charge the phone during USB otg usage.
Can I use a USB C to Micro B (female) adapter and plug a OTG adapter into the Micro B port, without damaging my device or USB stick, or won't this even work? I'm asking because I still have a OTG cable lying around and I also have a USB C to Micro B adapter, but I don't want to damage anything Has anyone tries this? I tried searching for it online but I can't find anything about it.

But your USB C to Micro USB adapter needs to support OTG. I have an adapters which does not support it.
can someone confirm that samsung galaxy s3 tab sm-T80N support usb otg, I can't find any info about usb otg , manual says usb-c port charging / accessories , I don't have usb -c to micro usb adapter to try it, I do have micro usb2 otg cable which work fine on samsung galaxy s5, I use otg for usb devices like usb flash drives, usb midi keyboards, usb audio cards for recording audio

which adapter do you use ucb-c to micro usb b or just plain usb-c to usb A, or usb c to usb A with otg support, or usb- c to usb micro b female with otg
