Clear Audio conflicts with Dolby Atmos - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Could some one explain why Clear Audio conflicts with Dolby Atmos? And are there any ways to have both work well on one device? (My device is SM-G530H)

Dolby Audio porting..

I see that there is Dolby Sound Enhancement Drivers Ported to Galaxy 3. Seems like a good alternative from Beats audio porting....
Has anyone tried this on the note?

Is there a good global EQ app?

Just got an LG Rebel L44VL and I'm fine with it except the sound. Very tinny. I sounds like a bumblebee in a cardboard box. Love the sound on my Moto E. Is there a gobal EQ app that will work for ALL apps that produce sound like youtube, vids in the news, Showbox, and radio, mp3's etc? If I can fix the sound issue it's a keeper if not it's probably going to be a deal breaker.
You will need superuser access. Dolby Atmos R6.5 delivers impressive sound, even on the Rebel's modest stock loudspeaker. On Bluetooth and 3.5mm auxiliary audio devices, the sound clarity is amazing. Deep, undistorted lows, warm & rich mids, crisp & distinct highs. The EQ presets suffice, but custom is the way to go for true preference. Last but not least is the Dolby Atmos Surround Virtualizer option, for multi-speaker setup. I love my Moto E sound too. Give Dolby Atmos a try. There are dedicated threads to R6.5 Dolby Atmos for download links.

Dolby Atmos

Has anybody tried dolby atmos with this phone? If so does it improve the speaker quality by a significant amount?

No kind of audio mod is going to increase the phone speaker by a considerable amount. You can tweak it a bit and dial out some unnecessary frequencies but the bulk of the Dolby stuff is only going to affect headphones or Bluetooth.
You can also give this app a shot that way you don't have to worry about flashing or replacing system files. It works similar to how Samsung's sound adapt works.

Help with bluetooth on viper4android on magisk 19.3 on lineageOS 16 on the Poco f1

Hi I'm on a Poco F1 running lineage OS 16 and I wanted to use viper4android instead of the built-in audiofx app. While doing research I found something that said to flash a zip that removes audiofx and replaces it with musicfx so I did that and then I disabled musicfx and reinstalled viper4android but this didn't work, I could still use viper on the built-in speaker and via aux but as soon as I turn on Bluetooth and connect to my speaker it either doesn't play, makes a crunchy noise on the speaker or plays on my built-in speaker.
When I use the built-in speaker or the aux viper4android say processing yes but as soon as I use Bluetooth it goes to processing no.
And yes I am using audio compatibility patch and audio modification library.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes I have tried it without it and that is why I was using it
Quick question is best to use Viper FX Legacy or Viper Xhifi?

That should do the trick
This is typically caused by random magisk modules, for example the Pix3lify module breaks all bluetooth audio. Try disable modules and seeing if that helps.

Missing Equalizer Sony Music App

Today Iam looking for an Equalizer as my new headphones had some problems with a few frequencies. But I didn't find!
Did Sony forget this or am I blind ?

Yeah! they don't have those they used to.
Its all in that Dolby atmos this time.
Click Dolby atmos and all you see in Some Dynamic, Movie, music and Custom. There is an advanced setting which is supposed to have the feature of own setting for the bands.
But Dolby Atmos is only working with wired headphones. Most time I used Bluetooth headphones

Dolby atmos works with bluetooth headphones as well. I use it with my WF1000xm3 and WH1000xm2.
Dolby atmos works with headphones, bluetooth headphones and without headphones.
It seems that not all BT Headphones are supported, I tried my Sony MDR-10RBT and now its compatible, also my JBL Reflect 2. But 2 other one aren't. Maybe it's a protocol restriction
