You should be able to root your devices using Towel Root, if that doesn't work you can use Odin to flash TWRP for your devices found here, and then flash SuperSU .zip. Let me know if you still have questions and need me to explain things further.

Thank you very much! Our now given right!
For those who want to know how I did:
Recovery.tar installed via Odin 3.09.
Then I went in recovery (Menu + Power + Volume UP) and installed UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.02.zip.
Reason: I wanted to install the Language Enabler (Portuguese). Because the Samsung Tab 7.1 4 did not come that language.
Thanks a lot!

[Q] HTC one max missing IMEI

Hi guys!
I am new to rooting and all these things. I got my one max where it has already been rooted. Then i stupidly flashed a sense 6 rom and was happy the flashing was successful.
but the rom had lots of bugs. So i sent it to a phone repair shop to unroot it. Then the guy at the shop said that and only then did i realize that the imei is missing.
he cant unroot it without an IMEI.
so what do i do?i was so happy to get this phone but this comes along.
how do i regain my IMEI?
Thanks for the help guys
What recovery are you in? Try the latest twrp recovery
How do i check what recovery im in?im sorry i barely know these things, it was the previous owner that rooted the phone.

The best thing you need to do is flash an RUU. I am going to send you a PM.
Also my host is down and you would need to click on the mirror button anyways.

Note 5 N920C Root

First of all, all the thanks go to the developers, this is not my work.
I was just looking for a way to root my mobile without changing the kernel.
By pure luck i found out i can root the device.
I downloaded n920ci 4.3 philz touch 6.59.0 from arter97 post and chainfire BETA-SuperSU-v2.49.zip
arter97 post

chainfire BETA-SuperSU-v2.49

Flash the recovery via Odin then flash the SuperSu from the recovery.
Hi. I have n920c. Is there any problem with your device? Your root is still there? Any reboot on call issue? Can you give more info? Thank you

Thanks for the info a.bakir, I rooted my Galaxy S6 in a similar fashion but I had problems with battery life and the phone not allowing sleep mode until a fix came out. Are you experiencing any battery issues after this root?

I'm using the Turkish ROM 920CXXU1A0H2, so far I didn't face any problems and no rebooting during call.

You're welcome.
I'm not experiencing any problems.
this method is causes bootloop for me. What i did:
1) activated oem lock from developer settings
2) flash cwm as linked, with odin
3) flash su 2.49 zip file.
phone stuck at bootloop, recovered to stock rom with kies. Device fixed.
is there something wrong brother?

You need custom kernel to root. I was surprised too by reading this bcoz stock kernel doesn't boot when I tried with prerooted rom.
May be op already have custom kernel when he flashed supersu.
I like to here from op too regarding this.

That's why you got root access. If you were on stock kernel you will have got bootloop. (still your reply is confusing, I din't get you HAD kernel at time of flashing or not) So better you mention this step in OP that you also requires custom kernel.
(You said in OP that you wanted to root without changing kernel,)

You need you flash recroot v? To restore a recovery also it seems some busyboxs will clash with the recovery so don't install a third party busybox the one that comes with recroot should be fine
You should get twrp 3.^

Custom Recovery for Galaxy Amp Prime? (J320az)

I have a rooted j320az through cricket. I was able to obtain root using wondershare for pc. What would it take to get twrp ported over? The guy who came up with how to root was looking into it and kinda disappeared. I will be happy to make a nice donation for twrp and also for anyone who could port over a custom rom.
Also this may be a dumb question but i was curious if i could use the twrp for j320p or maybe even the galaxy grand prime?
I think we could use 1 of those recoveries, it just has to be 5 inch 720p panel like our amp primes.

According to this.........http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f898/sm-j320az-2112564/
We already have a working Recovery. TWRP. Look towards the bottom. The top says sm-j320az which is our amp prime, towards the bottom there's a file TWRP tar. I downloaded it, someone posted and says it's working. What u think? I don't want to mess up my phone. It's all I got right now.

Hey, there's a website for CWM, it's a build your own recovery site. That may be our ticket to recovery.

So I really need a custom recovery for this thing, has there been a breakthrough?
