Dear all, I was trying to root my Lenovo A7000 Plus someday but I've messed up with the phone and sent for warranty. They revert my phone back to Lollipop ROM and I managed to update the phone to 6.0 once I received my phone back.
Before the phone was faulty (running Marshmallow 6.0), the SD card was reformatted as Internal Storage.
The problem now is that the phone could not recognise the SD after the phone was reformatted.

Hi all. I recently upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 stock firmware and realized that my external SD card isnt mounted (even though it is inserted into my phone). I have installed several other stock firmwares from Sammobile, also tried CyanogenMod custom ROM, but external SD card isnt mounted on all of them. Is there a fix? Thanks in advance
Your sd card might be bricked. You can try formatting it with your computer via usb readers, but you will probably have to search other threads with sd card bricks, they might have a solution for you.
I encrypted my SD card on a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Value Edition SM-G730V (Android 4.4 Kitkat stock ROM), but the phone broke under warranty and got another today. I need to decrypt the files and folders on my SD card. I know the password, I am willing to crack it, but I don't know how.
Hi guys, I just upgraded my Z3 to 6.0 through a custom rom and I'm just wondering, for people already on 6.0, do y'all think it's better to combine your sd storage with internal? Cause I just found out that it's almost impossible to flash a rom or anything from TWRP if your storage is combined cause it won't read the sd card area. Maybe a TWRP update will come out fixing this but for now it's kind of a hassle to reformat my sd card to read as transferable storage.

If your device is bricked how you mean to put data on sd card using bricked phone ???
Instead of that use micro sd card reader and put your os inside sd card.
I did what you told me. Tried to apply update from SD card. But the installation is aborted. Maybe the firmware I'm trying to install is not the appropriate. Could you point me a firmware for the device to download and install with the method you told me? Thank you in advance!
I have a dead in water GIONEE S11 phone it had setup a 32gb Toshiba micro SD card as its default write storage and had warned that it will only work and be seen in that Gionee phone alone. Then it died.
Now, do I need another Gionee brand phone to see it and unlock it?
I cannot see it in computer or in phones as a removable storage SD.
What can I do to rescue my SD card with or without formatting it???
