It's a known fact that VoLTE is not supported in any custom ROM for this device as of now. I saw some people saying that flashing the radio zip enable the "Enhance 4g Mode" in settings. I'm on slim ROM without any radio files. If you have flashed the files and see that option, please let me know. Because I don't wanna fix anything that is not broken.
BTW, what does the radio file contains? MM Bootloader? And if I flash it, will I be able to go back to MIUI 8 global(5.1) backup that I made with TWRP without any issues. Your help will be appreciated.

Actually I don't use volte ,but everything is fine now in MIUI after using Official RR with cm radio ..but u shld have a twrp alka backup to go back to MIUI.
tried slim,hexagon,orion,cm13 lte is fine but only with data and even jio join is not working in my case..regarding radio zips i have flashed them earlier but changed the boot image and fastboot mode also starts showing cm ..have to reboot in edl mode and then revert back miui 7 ...don,t know about restoring i never tried .

in my case jiojoin upon registering not showing the dailer so cant use jiojoin..dont know wats the issue

I've been using different custom roms for Kenzo and all of them seem to be missing on one feature. VoLTE. Is there any technical difficulty that prevents the developers from intergrating it or something else.
I'd like to know if any any custom ROM supports it as of now.
Let me be clear. This is not a feature request, no offence on any dev. Just wanna know the technical side of it.

u have to make 2 apns like below...before that delete all the apns from your mobile
Apn1:
name--- Jio
apn-------jionet
server--www.google.com
apn type--default,supl
rest leave as it is...then save the apn....now create the 2nd apn

name--Jio
apn----ims
apn type-ims
rest leave as it is..then just save the apn...

I have seen issues on cm14 and above...but its working perfectly on cm13 roms...i will try and tell u...some one was talking it works on Xenon HD 14.1

On any nougat custom roms I couldn't get APN by Default.
I tried manually and saved it, internet connection works but volte not works.
When I add APN type:default,supl then volte works but faced new problem that data connection doesn't off even after you turn off from status bar toggle.
I tried volte patches,new firmwares etc... But no luck.
Any one have solutions????

evrything works on latest LOS 14.1
No issues with APN.
Just remember the series:
Flash official latest developer miui rom > unlock officially > flash twrp > format data and wipe evrything > flash rom and gapps > boot

Works well in Oreo and miui roms
flash latest developer rom via edl mode it will flash your device from the bottom and it'll update your firmware. after that install naught rom.

It all depends on your carrier whether they've implemented Volte in your location or not, no extra steps are needed.

miui itself comes with VoLTE Enabled Just Go to setting and search for VoLTE, But This depends on your network carrier that it supports VoLTE or Not. Thanks : )

It Depends Upon Your Carrier, If they support VoLTE & VoWiFi. However this fix can enable VoLTE in all Other GSI's and Custom ROMs
I have tried this VoLTE fix does not do anything and I am on Android 10

there was another one I downloaded from GitHub which was a heavier file and for any Qualcomm device
that did not even recognize my phone as a Qualcomm phone and freaked out
Any updates on . I had been steady with havoc for last 2 years unfortunately have to flip back to stock just for this reason. How does a Wotk does it need you to install the original boot image without magisk alteration and then add the magisk patch. Did not get any error but at the same time nothing happened
