Would the old nexus 7 ROM work on the new nexus 7??

Just wondering if it would work on the new one and if not, why not make one?

Probably not the new nexus uses snapdragon whereas the old one uses tegra so it probably wouldn't.

Nope, coz both have different internals / hardware

Note inside apps

I would like to have a Note application similar to Samsung's S-Note, but it should work inside other apps. The best comparison I can come up with is the bubble note in Adobe Reader. But it should stick inside other apps. Hence the next time I open the app I will have access to the note there . I've searched high and low, but can't find anything. Is this a limitation of Android?

No.
But a limitation of time.

I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying that one is in the pipeline?

He's on a custom Rom https://www.reddit.com/r/Nexus6P/comments/4dglrk/circle_gesture/

So this is his way of pushing his own ROM. Lame

Not sure if its kernel related, but the circle gesture seems to work on my end, Chroma and Elite Kernel
Also works on uberstock

Not on stock

Discussion of this feature should just be in the respective ROM threads.
