How to use Sony .thm theme files on Android - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I'm wanting to know if I can get Sony Ericsson theme .thm files to work on my android phone. These are not thumbnail images but non interactive moving images . I really hope someone can help me with this as I absolutely love the theme I had and would really like to get it back working on my new phone. Just to note my previous phone that this .thm file was on was a Sony Ericsson k800i and now I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S2. Any information would be much appreciated.

Anyone got any information or suggestions that might help?

Meh
I've no idea how the boot animations are loaded, is there a script or something that tells the phone to load it or something?
I was looking out of curiousity at the red alert live wallpaper which has sound attached in the META-INF folder, maybe you can apply a similar principle to the boot animation script if there is one????

[Q] Porting XPeria Apps to CyanogenMOD9?

Hello Xperia Guyz,
I am from Samsung Galaxy Ace Forums. I wanted to develop a new ROM for my device but I find a difficulty in it. I wanted help from the awesome developers here. I want to ask if there is any way to port the stock Xperia Apps to CM9?
I want Apps like Messaging, Contacts and Dialer from Xperia 2012 to CM9 is there any way to do so?
IN our device, to get a stock app work on non stock based ROMs, we had to copy some framework and system files. Please help me in doing this.
Thanks in Advance
You'll need to do a lot of disassembling/assembling to make it work. Simply put, it's not worth it.
No way like copying some framework and xml files??
And They say porting tw is difficult...
No.
Seems like I would need to work upon a theme then....
Still, thanks

Fonts for S3 from stock rom

Hi guys.
Can someone give me whole font folder from original stock rom ?
I was looking for those font's but non of them could found. Also downloading a stock rom weight around 1 gb something with low speed due to hosting limitation's wouldn't help me.
So I hope there is someone on a stock rom that could provide me a font folder from phone I cannot do this by myself due to using a Sony phone, also my friend that has S3 knows nothing about moding/rooting etc android.
So I hope Xda community would help me ^^ Thanks guys.

Wanting to create a theme for my phone using TouchWiz - Please help

Hi
I am new (like totally new) I haven't done any phone programming before and I haven't done any computer programming for years (yes I am 46, but I am a techno junky). I like the themes on the Samsung Themes Store, but I would like to make my own and use them. I have looked at how to make Icons etc, but I would like to know how to get them onto my phone without using another Launcher. I have looked into Samsung Developers, but being a beginner I don't have any designs and I wouldn't know where to start.
I also tried following a thread '[GUIDE] Make your own Themes for your Samsung device' by mygalaxya, but I couldn't find where to download the Java JDK & Android SDK. The link takes me to Android Studio which I have already downloaded.
Would someone be so kind as to help me, from the beginning? Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
P.S. I'm not stupid just need some guidance
