UPDATED ADRENO DRIVERS!
So from I've checked, stock latest TW ROM has Adreno drivers from January, so they are pretty outdated. Since Nexus 5 and GS5 have basically the same SOC, you can flash same drivers to both devices without any consequences. I tried June released drivers and what do you know - improvements everywhere. In AnTuTu, now I score consistent definitely more, whole phone seems much more responsive.
So, in case you want to update drivers, here's the link down below (those drivers have been taken straight from Qualcomm website):
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6y9cM0ZnDQmZTJacGJwRlZSZm8/view?usp=sharing
https://mega.nz/#!AU1zWIST!t-QN0v9WtBXpbZ8taEmj4NxMyROkJ7QAj77CRecimTk
Just flash those using recovery and you're good to go (ONLY FOR MARSHMALLOW!!!)
Please share your experiences in the comments section below. Thanks.

Little up from DeoXPer Pure MM 3.0 with Boeffla Kernel v2.1 beta 3 and June drivers:
Anyway 3D performance is the same as previous test (always with June drivers)!
This drivers are just what I searched and not found by myself until now..
Thanks again!

Yeah, animations are totally smooth now, I tried Unkilled previously with stock drivers, and on High settings it was too laggy, but now experience is 2x better everywhere.
I even noticed less heating... Is it true? Even with fast charging, phone is relatively cool when doing something with it.

Beta versions could be more stable than official versions.. and if you don't want to try it, no one said you to do it..
And there is some people that want to try to improve smartphone performance also trying beta versions of mods/drivers.. anyway without trying no one could notice issues..
Anyway I can tell this drivers are really stable and make gpu faster. Better animations, visible better video playing in AnTuTu tests and device cooler than before when it's stressed.
This is my feedback.
Really useful new drivers.
Nothing to complain and thanks again to @airidosas252 !

Wow can't wait for this. We all need a good JB Kernel. zRAM and so many frequency oversteps, this has really got me excited!! The race is wide open . Thanks for starting this project. Good Luck .
Hey why not make a combo?
All powersave frequencies with OC?
I would like to have a combo like that!
Also add 100MHz.. very efficient at battery saving
Look forward to it
keep up the good work
LED ?
Working LED on JB ?
Yeah, make it combo so I don't have to downloaded both.

I wish I could do that. But its not possible to accommodate more values in the frequencies table in the Overclocked Version.
And I did not add 100MHz because it causes phone to lag and be unresponsive on most Governors.

Looks very promising, huge list of Governors, WiFi 5Ghz band and first JB Kernel with OC @ 1.2 GHz.

I can't decide what version to download
I care about my battery life but I like smooth experience too...
what the people here recomend?
I use Ultimate Rom V8 (JB)
Testing for the last 20 hrs, speed is snappy overall. Multitasking (of over two apps) as pointed out isn't that great. Interactivex+SIO @ 1.2 Ghz - 200 Mhz seems the ideal for battery life which I see is better among others given the performance.
I think keyboard redraws is associated to kernel partially. I had lesser withdraws with the kernel Ashwin's Ultimate Rom. It has something to do with destroying processes which is still buggy in the port as of now.

I will clarify this is OP, apologies. I use the .0x for Beta releases and the .x for stable. This way you can always be sure you know whether you are on a stable or beta version. Just look at the beta number without the 0. See if I had put 1.2 beta , the the stable version would be 1.1 -> 1.3 in its next release, which makes no sense.

I think what confused him is that usually its major/minor.
1.1
1.11
1.12
1.13
1.2
Where 1.1 and 1.2 would be stable while 1.11, 1.12 and 1.13 would be unstable/beta or minor releases. If that's how you setup your version scheme with minor versions being beta.
It's far less confusing than your release versioning going
1.1
1.02
1.2
As these are non sequential.

I guess, I will clarify my release vs beta numbering in OP asap
From now on I will use the latest stable version with the beta version tailing so, instead of 1.02 it will be 1.12. So basically it means it is the latest stable, with the tailing 2 to represent it is an addition to it. Also this results in an incrementally larger beta release number over the stable. Sorry for any confusion.
EDIT: I meant 1.11 this will make a clean increment as its the first beta since 1.1
New beta v1.11 is up. Concurrent Beta releases will follow the new numbering system for ease of tracking. Also has last minute BCL tweaks by Franco
Installed the kernel, so far so good, just one thing, by default with this kernel on kernel adiutor its set so the GPU maximum clock is at 800mhz which is quiet insane over clock.
Build 1.11 nitrogen is n 7.1 ROM.

This was implemented by Flash so I kept it. I will be lowering the default clock to 600 by next release though.

INFORMATION ABOUT my pureClock inside LEVIATHAN:
pureClock means you really get real clocks out of your phone, what do I mean? Qualcomm's multiplier was boosted to the optimal to gain what I desire, together with the proper prefixes we are able to achieve the desired clocks. Let's say Qualcomm's multiplier is 19, to boost to 1.4GHz the prefix is 73! So by this we have 73x19=1387 (1.38GHz) which is not real 1.4GHz! With pureClock we are even able to achieve real lower frequencies, we all know sd410 didn't supported frequencies below 998MHz, infact each frequency below 998MHz was targeted as 998MHz! We can apply the same technology or idea (depends how you want to call it) over the GPU, but this time we are using different multipliers and phase-locked loops (PLLs). Doing such type of OC also shows out 1.4GHz is not the limit of this CPU, my commits about this can be found over Github! Cheers and SD410 FTW

INFORMATION ABOUT VoltageControl inside LEVIATHAN:
INFORMATION ABOUT QuickCharge inside LEVIATHAN:
QuickCharge is automatic, and the power can differ a lot depending on the current battery Voltage and on the battery Temperature. While the phone is not being used it will charge in the most fast possible way. Power can differ from 0mA to 1550mA, keep an eye on the Voltage! QuickCharge works only when phone is ON, booted inside the OS. From low battery level to 50%, the phone will try to charge as fast as possible, after 50% you might notice some slow downs, and around 90% it might become really slow!

Nice kernel, do you have the J5 or you ported it from A5? Would be nice if you can patch it to work in UX roms.

done mate, be so kind to test it and report issues and do a benchmark out of the stock
On A5 i hit 31k :silly:

Benchmarking right now on the cold floor to achieve minimum temperatures. I have to admit, on the 3D test i've never seen that much frames. I will post a screenshot after its done. If u want to achieve best performance, use my debloat script (definitely not sellout) and this kernel. It's the best combo.

Yes
Hello,
i've flashed the kernel on LineageOS 03.07 nightly and so far everything runs fine.
Thanks !
Edit:
So after a day of testing my first impressions comparing to lineage stock kernel:
Scrolling and multitasking seems a bit smoother, also no problems with PPSSPP game emulation.
Benchmark scores attached
flashed on 7.1.1 RR ... everything seems ok with 100mhz overclock; only a glitch in nav bar (1/2 is solid black) but I think could be easily solved tweaking it =)

Only slightly overclock to 1890mhz to test oc but then I disabled it - the major "issue" of the sp is the ram, not really the cpu frequency. Ram handling seems - actually, I think it is - better now.
Issue happened also without any overclock.
However, I put 65% to navbar height in my rom as a workaround.
I lowered min clock to 186 mhz and it still works normally and smooth.
The only other issue I noticed - with or without tweaks: the phone never enter in deep sleep mode, it stays to 186mhz.

No errors, crash, force close or lags in overclock or underclock... it seems everything ok on that side
Even ram usage seems to be less aggressive with the kernel (thanks for that).

Testing 1.1 now. I'd 1.0 before.
However, I "fixed" missing deep sleep on 1.0 with force doze app - I had too much wakelocks, probably the true reason I hadn't deep sleep at all.
I'll recheck OC functions also
Navbar height glitch is fixed on 1.1, thanks

Ok, I confirm deep sleep works well in 1.1 even with the app off.

This kernel exists because of the great kernel developers that we've been blesses with here in the Note 4 forums. Since they have moved on for the most part and their kernels are no longer being updated I'm going to try my best to fill that void. Along with being completely upstreamed to the latest Linux version it includes, what I think, is the best parts of all the kernels that we've enjoyed from the last several years.
As with anything on XDA, FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK. While I do my best to test everything there just no way of knowing how a kernel might respond to your current setup. With that being said, PLEASE HAVE A BACKUP just in case

Wake Controls
To get the wake controls working: Turn on the control you want to use in Kernel Adiutor and then, using a root file explorer, go to /sys/android_touch2/ then find the corresponding file ie doubletap2wake and open the file with a text editor. If the file says 0 change it to 1, if it's already one just save and exit. After that it should work every time until you turn it back off in KA. If you want to turn it back on just repeat the above process.
I consider this to be as good as the wake controls are going to get. They've never really worked reliably but at least with this way it does and to be honest I probably won't put too much more work into getting it any better. Sorry.

Many Thanks!! Great work!! Success on the N910T with ApocalypseX_M rom.
One thing though I'm using the extended battery since I have a Kranich 9600mAH battery, in kernel Auditor it registers as 3200mAH. Not a huge deal to me, I'm fairly confident the kernel will eventually learn.

I've read that about the extended batteries in regards to kernel adiutor showing 3200 still. I think the app is reading something from the rom instead of the kernel. Race rom shows 3600 even with a stock kernel.
Like you said, it should even itself out after a bit. I think I read that it might take two battery cycles. Is that right?

When I was using RamKernel, it took about a week to adjust 100%. At first I'd run out and reboot & have 65%. Then 30, then 20, 10, 5 etc. So I think it's more than 2 battery cycles, but nevertheless it does eventually adjust.
Gonna go ahead and charge it overnight. I'll update with anything else. Other than that, great work my friend!
