i mean ok root is easy, install a rom is easy
but i havn't do it since a long time
i'm blocked about what to use for recovery, is there a more updated, more compatible, more advanced ? phylz, cwm, trrmp ?!?
which one to use to install this rom ?
i was having a old phylz on my phone, it installed the rom but got many bugs (application stopped again and again.... like store and others)
- from stock rom rooted, i've tried : http://forum.xda-developers.com/can...rt-micromax-canvas-knight-a350-cwm-5-t2807920
but got an error : "pmt changed for the rom it must be downloaded"
- from stock rom, i've tried CWM cause look like its the best last one to use (was having a preference for phyl but cant find a setup who work ;_

- used kingo root to root
- used Rashr to install recovery from insternal SD direct on the phone, worked

Installation Insturaction only for v5.5 not for 5.5.9
- (Remenber only philz and twrp 2.8.6 can flash this rom )
I recommend to flash it over a freshly install pac or cm11 without wiping data ( not necessary u may proceed without pac or cm11)
1) put d rom in external sd card
2) rboot to recovery > wipe cache davilk cache and data(not recommended for cm11 or pac user)
install zip > navigate to sd card > select zip
3) flash d rom
now the real part begins
after booting d rom u will get blutooth fc ignore this
4) now open app drawer (launcher) > open the app named "selinuxchanger"
5) allow root permission
6) then select "permissive"
without wasting time navigate to setting > developer setting > turn on advanded reboot
7) hold power button
8) click on reboot
9) select soft reboot
voila camera and sensor starts working

The Pros:
1. First ever actual Lollipop Rom for our Canvas Nitro.
2. Speed is amazing.
3. Many tweaking options for Lock Screen, Status Bar, Notification Drawer, On Screen Buttons, etc. in Settings.
4. A fascinating app drawer.
5. Can be heavily themed.
The Cons:
1. The phone goes into bootloop after update the SU binary and rebooting (both by the normal way & via CWM/TWRP).
2. Low Speaker Volume.

It contains Dolby Atoms and would only flash with TWRP 2.8.6 or Philz Recovery.

Overall Review:
The Rom is very nice overall for daily usage with one of the best UIs till date in any Nitro rom but the rom is rendered useless due to the wifi, bluetooth and sim card issues.
There is no issue with the Volume buttons in the A310.
Developer please try to correct these issues and thanks for such a sweet Rom. Waiting for the issues to be resolved.

No need to update binary just enable root from developer option

Q- Cam not there in launcher?
A- install any third party app or use camera from lock screen.

Anyone can take a chinese rom,remove the chinese apps and repack it with his name on the title,this is not development,its not even modding.

i ve been through other android phones that were represented here on xda with a forum,and i have to say this:This is the most flooded forum i've seen,with multiple threads of the same half working roms.
And just for your knowledge,Coolpad F1,Himax Polymer and Micromax Nitro are the same phone.
Coolpad is the original company that produced this phone,Polymer and Nitro are the re-brands.Thats why Coolpad F1 comes with a custom rom (CoolLife UI) and the other two come with generic aosp roms.

Oh hello, I have first uploaded d ROM and d the after me and added Chinese apps without even giving credit to all my member, you can quote ur words to them
Well if it is your work i m sorry,but if you take a walk on the chinese sites you will see the roms there too,they are there since some time.
can i just flash it over previous version ? and if i do so the features which were not working previously will work ?.. cause i have apps installed and dont want to install them back again....

Maximum bugs fix
Bro you and your team did very good repack of RR.
In Darshan's and stylopia's rom there are many minor and major bug found.
You guys are almost made it for regular use.
In you are repack ro there are many bugs fix ie. GPS fix, Video and audio Recording working, Network and data connection also stable...

No bro flash rom Again.
@pintothakur007 How about the SD card as primary?
This repack too has storage issue, not able to move apps to SD, shows external doesn't have space when there is 10GB space(ss attached). Even if in the apps I do as preferred storage as Sd card then apps are not getting installed. Does anybody have a solution for this?
Can someone please make SD card as primary like in material ui ROM.

Update Frequency

Root?
you must enable root access by going to settings, developer options and then selecting root access.
Ext. SD Card.
I advise against selecting convert to internal storage. Until there is a permanent switch to marshmallow
GPS
I made sure to get a lock before flashing RR MM, I was able to get a good lock.
Contacts Storage
You'll just have to restart the phone as it tries to deal with contacts the first time. I've read it is due to using to large of a gapps package, but I tried pico and it still happened. Just hold the power button down until the phone restarts and that will get you past it for now until they tweak that.
Updating same versions
I always try this order of installation of an update
Get a GPS lock
backup with titanium backup - apps and data (nothing system)
boot to recovery and backup in TWRP
try to boot after each flash process of course.
wipe dalvik and partition cache and flash the rom
everything works? if not then
wipe system, dalvik and partition and flash rom and gapps
everything works? if not then
wipe system, data, dalvik and partition then flash rom and gapps and restore data in TWRP
everything works? if not then
wipe same as above, flash rom and gapps restore apps/data using titanium backup

Phone not working
I love the ROM so far but I am experiencing phone issues, it makes calls but there is no sound. Any ideas??
After flash this rom with Open Gapps, I've got no service. It detects my sim card but no service.
How to fix this bug?

I used trwp and cleared system, data, dalvik and partition cache - I used the open gapps super (649mb).
I'll update it every few days to get you the latest code as its very early in the process.

Right, I have that in the FAQ.
I'd use another SD card or make sure you copy all files to your PC first, format it and then copy them back.
Thanks, I read that post and see it was edited right before your last one. I didn't catch the last line about the way around but did consider the transfer, format method. I will see later. Transferring all my data back and forth isn't the quickest thing for me to do. And unfortunately no other sd card to play with.

I've changed it to global or 3g but still not working. So sad!
I clean flash (wipe cache, davik, data, system) the rom and then OpenGApps micro.
I really love this rom, please help!
Will this bork my sdcard if i try it? Recently jacked up a pretty good one on a different device when mm was in its infancy on that device is why i ask. Id love to run this, had the same rom on my g3 and was great...

I flashed the 2/1 build but it said in about it was 1/31 even though there was no 1/31 for spr. I don't know, SD card no work.

The 1/31 reference is to the gapps version I loaded from the Open GAPPS web site.
I used the "stock" version.
When activating the sd card make sure you select portable.

Follow these step to enjoy VPN in cm builds ..
1. Go to psiphon and choose Browser-Only mode don't tunnel whole device.
2. Go to its logs tab and check the port of http proxy.
3. Now open WiFi setting and long press to your WiFi network (from which u are connected) go to modify tab and from check the advanced options.
4. Chosen manual proxy option and put host name as 127.0.0.1 and port as the no. which you noted in step 2 (eg. 8080) and click save .
Enjoy you have set up a VPN connection successfully.
You can open your browser and check your IP
Note: You have to undo this after you don't need VPN by changing manual proxy to none .
For those who want to use Orbot vpn
This is very similar to previous vpn workaround for psiphon
Just follow these step for Orbot
1. Open Orbot and long press to start orbot.
2. When all bootstrapped done go to check browser it will ask for normal browser or install Orweb .
3. Open Orweb and volla you r connected to tor but actually its not to tunnel your traffic to vpn go to Orweb settings.
4. Now note the proxy host and proxy port generally it is localhost(same as 127.0.0.1) and 8118 respectively but it may change so better to keep updated with port numbers.
5. Now go to wifi setting and long press the wifi (from which u r connected) and check advanced options.
6. Choose manual proxy option and put the host name 127.0.0.1 and port no. (e.g. 8118 ) which u noted in step 4
Now u can check https://check.torproject.org from any browser and volla Congo this browser is configured to use tor.
Sorry for long guide but it is detail enough so that anyone can easily setup tor in cm builds.
Note: You have to undo manual proxy option to none after you don't use vpn.

Can't deactivate any sim.
It does not work the notification light when you have missed calls and SMS.
No notification light.

I'll upload a slightly modified version for CoolPad F1 at the Greek Forum (no credits altered )
Dolby Digital Plus preinstalled instead of V4A, Xposed installer preinstalled, etc...
One click installation. (Even with PHILZ or TWRP)

instalation on coolpad f1.
it is easy.
if you are under twrp 2860 or 3020 recovery:
- Wipe System, Cache, Dalvik Cache, Internal and Data Partition
- Format Data partition
- Go to Mount settings (untick on data, system, cache partition)
if you under philz recovery:
- wipe cache
- wipe dalvik
- custom fomat options-format data and data/media (sdcard)-yes
(watch out! this is gonna erase your internal storage.!!)

Then, Flash #1 (rom) and #2 (xposed)
Reboot.
That's it
VERY IMPORTANT, in case you see a "settings (1000)" supersu popup, select DENY. if, by mistake select grand, you may change it by going to Settings/SuperSu find "settings (1000)" and set it DENY.
i think this kind of popup is caused by xposed.

First time installing crDroid to Moto G5, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working recovery (TWRP)
- Copy GApps and crDroid zip to your external SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Wipe system, data, dalvik and cache
- Flash crDroid zip
- Flash GApps zip
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Reboot, first boot can take some time, just wait patiently!
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
- Copy crDroid ZIP to your external SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Wipe system and cache
- Flash crDroid zip
- Flash Gapps
- Reboot
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running stock crDroid-kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!

Just reboot and it works...
I installed the rom, very good, check the battery drainage in the next days
the camera is not fully functional, video with the apk of the rom is not working, but with footej camera this functional video

Magisk Systemless Xposed is working Crdroid rom
after a bleutoothproblem (terrible noise when connected with carkit) I went back from oreo to stock. could it be, that this problem is solved with this build? (sorry for bad english)

Try with Footej camera.
I have 4 problems
First Bluetooth didn't turn on
Then after restart device didn't boot up I had to turn off it again to start boot
3rd camera 2 API didn't work at all only shows black screen
4 when I lock the screen by power button and try to open it again it shows black screen I have to do so many times
My device is Moto g5 x1676 dual SIM
Your rom is best if you can fix these errors please .

For the black screen, just turn off ambient display. Works fine after that.
Camera error
I got this error in every camera camera error "please restart the camera"
