i had to flash my note 3 with miflash because it was bricked
now i have the miui8 dev rom on it and the bootloader is back to locked :[
i dont have the account to unlock it again, but i requested it on my account now.
i saw a thread over at en.miui.com where are files provided to unoffically unlock miui 8, but the files are offline
what i need is the emmc_appsboot.mbn_UNLOCK_MARSHMALLOW.zip file
anyone got it by any chance?

Hello guys, i really need some help here. I bought RN4 with unofficial Global rom, i already have asked for bootloader unlock permission and waiting, but i read that i cannot do it if i have unofficial rom so i tryied to install the developer official china rom but i failed. I tried with the chinese MiSuite in recovery mode, the programm goes to start the install of the downloaded rom (China Developer official from xiaomi site) but it appears an error before even start (in chineese, i cannot tell what it says) and it is like Retry or Cancel (of course Retry does nothing) can anyone help me? Thank you very much.

This one is for Mediatek I guess what about SD any ideas?
If the phone has an unofficial ROM, then it means that the bootloader is already unlocked. You can pass to an official ROM just by following this guide.
If the bootloader is locked, you can unlock following this guide (that is valid for all Xiaomi phone with locked bootloader).

you have to wait 7 more days after mi gives permission to unlock on email nd message. Just wait ti will work fine after a week.

Hi herecomesmaggi, I already received an SMS with the permission to unlock the device.
I had read in Xiaomi forum that this is fixed by installing the chinesse dev rom, but that rom is only for MTK devices, is there a chinesse dev rom for kate/special edition?

First of all lemme clear this, chinese dev rom and global dev rom are same with only diffrence of languages(chinese rom has only english and chinese) and google apps.
I faced the same problem while unlocking my bootloader. it unlocked after 8 days of getting message. You wanna try other methods so be it, but i know for sure it takes a week after message is sent.
My advice - just wait it out . if any partition or so gets messed up, you will end up having problems in custom roms like others.. fp , camera, imei problems...

Wait atleast 2 weeks then try to unlock bootloader officially, same problem was with me when I was trying to unlock my "kenzo" device, but when after 2 weeks I tried it to unlock by official method it's successfully unlocked.
When I unlocked it my phone was on MIUI Global Stable 8.1.10.
If you can't wait and want to unlock it urgently then follow the unofficial method, link provided below.

Dont do unofficial Method.. I had same exact message..wait out a week
There is an easy way to know if your device can be unlocked or not
If your device details are shown correctly, INCLUDES MIUI version, under your Avatar on MIUI forum it means the device is detected properly and the bootloader will be successfully unlocked
If there is no details of your device under your Avatar, the unlocking proccess will fail

Could not find the original method i used, but have just found it again, I managed to officially unlock after suffering several 50% failures using method 2 in the following link, I managed it with global stable installed as supplied with the phone.

Works great! Rooted and installed xposed with locked bootloader. Now i can wait patiently for my official unlock code.

this one works for me;
Go to settings>developer options>mi unlock status> and press "add account and device"
after this you can try to unlock bootloader again.
Hello i was trying to unlock my poco f1 bootloader first it was going to 50% and saying thath there was an uncknown error then i tried couple of tings and now when i try to unlock it it says thath it is already unlocked but it's no i have downloaded the miui 10.0.6.0 rom from the forum so i dont have a fake rom like it is suggested in some of the forums and have tried on 2 diifrent accounts with no other devices evryting is synced and as it shoud be, can someone please give me some advice

Im new to this forum. I have been searching all over internet and browsed this forum too but can not find one clear and simple answer/solution for changing Oppo Find X Chinese version to global ROM. Some say its easy to do and others say it can not be done!! I have also seen a video on Youtube a man doing this but not sure if its actually true or fake one!!
The Rom in my phone is PAFM_11_A.35 ColorOS V5.2.1 Kernel 4.9.65
So my question is: Has anyone a guide(link) how to do this or is it possible at all? I just want to get rid of this annoying Chinese apps and features pre-installed on my phone.

1. Google how to unlock yout find x bootloader
2. Your bootloader is unlocked ( normally will take you 1 month)
3. Install Twrp on your phone
4. Flash the Euro rom , and you will find out "error 7"
5. Sell your phone

No, you cant , oppo encoded all the rom.
You will receive a error 7 message via twrp, telling u the rom is locked
so,should i sell my oppo again? no way to install the global firmware?
the last chance is to try the Resurrection Remix ROM for Oppo FIND X,i have founded it on google
