Maybe it is not released yet in your region. You can flash generic firmware from here.

Galaxy S3 Israeli carrier firmware update

Hello,
I have a galaxy s3 I9300 (international) running on:
AP: I9300JKALE2
CP: I9300JKLE8
CSC: I9300OJKALE6
I've rooted using CF-Root 6.4; I'd like to know how to update my firmware manually, because the Israeli carrier is really bad at releasing updates. Which version should I get? I looked over the list of firmwares but I couldn't find one for Israel.
Would I need to enter any values and settings manually once I update?
Will the new firmware override the rooting?
Basically, what version to download and what is the right way to get it on a rooted phone.
Many thanks in advance

Via the two stock rom, threads or via Sammobile or via Checkfus may find your areas firmware .
Root via Chainfires CF root thread .

Yes. All stock firmwares do.

Usually not if you upgrade without Wipe.
You may have to enter APN settings manually on Wipe if they cannot be loaded from the SIM-card

Any one you like, firmwares are interchangeable.

Flash with Odin, then re-root the phone with CF-Root.

The problem was that there is no official update for the Israeli orange-partner rom. So checking via sammobile and checkfus didn't give any results because I believe an update especially for Israel doesn't exist yet. I meant in OP which firmware would be closest and safest to flash, considering what I have now. I apologize for not being clearer.

You can flash the latest firmwares found in sammobile, you don't have to use firmwares made for palestine..
They all work.

That makes no sense at all. How can you call a car a cat? Two different things . Anyways have some respect to other members on a public forum, no one needs your political crap about Palestine/Israel its against the rules. I can call Jordan, Palestine as well but I won't. Trust me don't get into politics here, its a modding forum for Christ sakes.

Yes, you can. But apparently, I've been getting many PM's for the Indian Version, and someone has also created a new thread on this in the general section. So I thought why not?
**** no. People ask? And if people know how to read? We have an official thread with any official rom. Look THERE
I do not believe in any suspicious rom made for unknown reason. I don't see any ask for rom from India

1. Are you saying that that this ftf seems suspicous to you? BTW, I was the first to upload the ICS update for Xperia sola, and people all over the world are using my ftf including many xda members. Still think I'd upload a suspicious ROM ?
2. Here are a bunch people asking for the Indian Rom .
And If mods think that this thread is useless, then they can delete it. I have no problem.
As I said before. We have an official thread. It contains all the official and unofficial rom for xperia. WHY YOU MAKE ANOTHER ONE?? We have official India rom
I see no point in adding another rom. And yes, I am suspicious of these situations.

That Indian f/w was ICS...this is GB, we didn't have a GB f/w for India up till now, we only had the central Europe version, and the Asian version...and the Asian version was pretty much useless cuz it was in chinese, and it didnt have any google apps, not even play store...
and another reason why I added this rom is because many people are reverting back to GB since ICS is lagging at some places for them...
nevermind....:cyclops:
again If the mods think that this is useless, they can close this thread....
we good ???

Please type the link of the official Indian GB here, because neither me nor many xda members were able to find it......AFAIK this is the first time the GB firmware for India is being posted here...
rohit does it void warrenty if we flash using flashtool
nope, your warranty will be void only when you unlock the bootloader. flashing stock roms doesn't void your warranty!!

Lol, first thing is a four *s. Congrats, you've made it to top clown of the week.
1) Nobody asked if you believe
2) If you find it suspicious, there's the X at the right top of the screen
3) Unknown reason? He explicitly stated it in the first post
4) You don't see it? Doesn't mean its not there. Requests could be by PM or his actual friends asking him in REAL LIFE.
5) Lastly, the 'official thread with any official ROM' includes this ROM. So what about it now?
All in all, why do you care if you're not going to use it?
Seesh, if you're not going to do any virus scan etc of it to prove your suspicion, don't talk so impolitely when others are bothering to make an effort to share useful stuff.
Variations and other download links will help users who need it to get ROMs faster or specific to their region.
P.S. People do know how to read and check before they post things up.

This thread has CE, Indonesia and India ROMs for GB. The India version leads to this thread.

It's still beta. So you'd have to be on the beta list to get it.
You can install it using Nocheck recovery, but you need an unlocked phone for that.

It is a beta. GSMArena is mistaken, and they are citing a blog named GetDroidTips that itself found the beta firmware from FirmwareFinder. GetDroidTips mailed a bunch of websites (us included) claiming that the stable update was rolling out. Guess they fooled a bunch of websites.

i have seen a lot of "news" about this citing droidtips including german websites.... it even was suggested in google news feed... thats the first time i am experiencing how fake news spread first hand
the question, if I did update manually....will I later be able to get OTA as normal..or I will then need each time to do manually ?

Commercial and journalist model

Is there any way to upgrade android system and security patch level without root and unlock bootloader? I got none updates. Or what i must do
First I would use xperia check and see if there firmware for your region then read up on how to use newsflash or flashtool then decide from there.
The bootloader and root are not required.
