How can I disable darker overlay for wallpaper on Home and Lock screens? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.
My device is a Samsung galaxy note 3 (n9005)
Recently i was trying to set a wallpaper on my nova launcher.
My wallpaper consist in a monochromatic picture with hex code #3a4465, as you can see here on the app drawer: http://i.imgur.com/Bxm4Mvz.png (attachmennt #1)
The problem is that in the home windows, the color of the wallpaper is changed in #37454e with some gradient shadows on top and on bottom, as you can see here: http://i.imgur.com/vPcIPkb.png (attachment #2)
This happens both on homescreen and lockscreen.
In the settings of nova launcher there is a settings that lets you disable shadows, and shadows are disabled. Nonetheless those shadows are still there.
I noticed this behavior happening on different roms (temasek (asop) and Phronesis (touchwiz)), and different launchers: nova launcher, google now launcher and touhcwiz.
How can i get a smooth flat wallpaper that is #3a4452 color and no shadows ?

Double Quick Search Bar on Apex Launcher. How can I remove one?

Hi guys!
I update my Galaxy S2 to ICS and installed the Apex launcher then removed the Touchwiz using Root Explorer. But now I find, in the widgets list, two quick search bar. The first has a icon of a lens and the widget bar is transparent, the second has a blue icon and the widget bar is dark gray (there was also before to delete the Touchwiz). How can I remove one of the two? (the dark gray if possibile)

Nice guide that you put up for people who cannot wait for 5.0 and prefer using Nova.
:good:
I tried Google Now launcher but reverted back to Touchwiz because i could not use S-Note widgets with it. Are all widgets available with Nova?
Looks really good, i had it setup really close to this, some off your stuff makes it look even better, thank you.

You can actually use Floatify to add lockscreen notifications similar to the ones in Lollipop.
For thoose of you who cannot wait for Lollipop and wants to use the lollipop theme without any struggle please flash the latest X-note rom. You can easily just change theme with Xnote controll app and there you go you have lollipop on your device with just a click. And it´s running smooth as butter just lovely. Thats why i love x-note, there is also alot of other themes to choose from. Question is if the x-note rom is avaible for all note 4 models.
Anyways im running the lollipop theme and will also do a x-note rom review as doing videos about android, rom reviews, game reviews, guides etc is my passion you can follow me on youtube ( the android dewd reviews ) stay tuned because a x-note rom review with the beautiful tw theme chooser they added you will be amazed how easily you can switch themes without nova or any other launcher and run lollipop if thats what you like.
Kind regards!

Sorry, no, the s-planner widget doesn't work which is sad as I really need it.
Could you please share the nova.backup file, so it would be easy for anyone to use that, after setting the icons to lollipop, so others can simply import the whole setup. Its just for folks who keep changing there look. Just my 2 cents !!

Setting notification panel wallpaper?

Hi guys,
Got my Honor 7 today. I set some themes through the EMUI theme app and then decided to go back to Nova launcher. Through Nova I changed my wallpaper and lock screen wallpaper, but when I pull down the notification panel it's the same as the original wallpaper set through the EMUI theme app. It's a shame as the notification panel looks different to the home screen and lock screen wallpaper.
Any idea how to change the notification panel wallpaper?

Can't change lockscreen picture

I'm using the stock ROM, and I simply can not change lockscreen picture.
I can change the whole theme, I can change icons, but I can't change the lockscreen picture (when I click on the designated picture, nothing happens - except a black square quickly coming from right side that quickly disappears)
(Same issue with wallpaper, but I'm using Nova, so this is not a problem)
What can I do? Thanks?
Set default launcher - MIUI launcher. Set lockscreen wallpaper. Set default launcher - Nova launcher. My friend help this.

White gradient on the notificatios bar

Since I had the phone untill today I've been using the Nova launcher. Today I went back to the Xperia Home.
I use a black wallpaper on both launchers and on the Xperia Home there is a white gradient at the top of the screen.
I've added 2 photos
1. Xperia Home (with max brightness so the gradient will be more visible) 20190620_214457.jpg
2. Nova Launcer 20190620_214542.jpg
Is there some setting to remove that gradient from the notification bar? I want to have full back wallpaper
