Doesn't seem to. I'm using it now. Also, the edge features still work. That surprised me the most.

Yeah, this is the first Samsung device I've owned since the S2. I have a preference for stock Android, but there are some good themes available in their store and applying my Nova settings from a saved setting have helped me feel pretty much at home.

I just transferred my Nova backup from my N6, and changed the icons for the Touchwiz dialer and Messages, and I finally feel at home too. Thanks!
I had a Note 2, and on that device using any other launcher crippled the S=Pen. I'm impressed that the S-Pen and the Edge features all work on Nova on this device.

I'm not sure why, but even after applying my icons, the messaging app keeps changing its icon back to stock. I may just download Google Messenger, but I was trying to give the stock apps a chance. The Samsung keyboard with a dark ui theme applied is fantastic. I love Swiftkey, but I think the stock keyboard predictions are better in some cases.

I read somewhere that the Samsung keyboard is powered by Swiftkey. If that's true, you're essentially using Swiftkey when you use the Samsung keyboard. I prefer the Google keyboard or Swype, but Swype uses Dragon instead of Google for voice input, so I mainly use the Google keyboard.

just about any of the inverted apps will work. The only one that won't is the messaging app. However I managed to find one that did. pm me if you need the file I forget where I found it. but I can upload it here.
Tried to push inverted gmail to system/app set permission and renamed the stock app to .bak.
Rebooted but it wouldnt take. Got the app from baked rom from my nexus.
Any tips or links to find one that works?
A blacked out ui and inverted gapps is all this is missing.

I used the apk from this thread and it is working great http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1773355
Just make sure to uninstall the current gmail and reboot before installing.

Also, if you enjoy the dark themed touchwiz messaging app. I found this popup app that works awesome with it. It is also theme-able, has quick reply from drop-down and popup option just like newer aosp. It's called Glowfly. Only downside is it doesn't play that well with lightflow but you can get them to work together with enough toying.

No, only tried the gmail. I actually don't mind the dark themed touchwiz contacts. I prefer aosp style mms but have yet to find a completely bug-free version with quick reply. But that glowfly has kinda solved that for me for now.

Hi Mistertac, would you mind to give me a example for transition effects and changing icon themes ?
Thank you very much.
Well I usually use nova launcher and with that one they're so many icon themes to choose from now I do realize 9 is a much different setup and it already looks really cool just there are many options for nova.
And transition effects... Just different looking transitions between the home pages and the app drawer that's all. Ie cube, stack,
throw, glass to name a few.

As you said, Nine Launcher is a much different setup and it already looks really cool so that people do not need to do any more like other launchers. That's because the goal of Nine Launcher is simple and beautiful, people all need to do is just enjoy.
Hum, the transition effects of Nine Launcher is weak, it need to be enhanced.
Thanks again.

Exactly 9 is much different that's why I don't want you thinking I'm knocking it. I bought it from the play store and I plan on using from time to time for sure.
Like you said maybe the only things to add over time would be transition effects.. I'm sure it's always a wip.

How to get smart call feature working on the Note 7

This is a quick guide to show how to enable the smart call feature included in some versions of the Note 7, according to the website. Learn more about smart call feature here: http://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/apps/smart-call/

Nope, not working on AT&T for me after it was enabled, either.
Not working here either.
Looks like the underlying framework is missing.
I was thinking, maybe we're missing the actual apk
Sent from my SM-N930P using Tapatalk
The US/Snapdragon variants are actually missing the framework and apk, it works just fine in the international versions. It has been removed and replaced by our/US carrier versions of Caller Id that you have to pay for which is total bs. There is a thread about this in the original Note 7 forum.

This did not work for me. Then today I was poking around in the settings and got it to work. I went into Applications in settings and then in the top right enabled system apps. I scrolled down to smart caller ID and clicked it. I went to permissions and enabled contacts.
Anyway an hour later I got a call from a family member from their home phone. I do not have this persons name saved in my phone. It said their first, last, and middle initial right on the screen. I was like wow it's working. So naturally I went into package disable pro and turned it off LOL. I tested it again with the same caller and this time it didn't show their caller ID, only their phone number. I tried to re enable the feature and have not been able to get it back since. If someone can try these steps and see how it works, maybe we can figure it out.
Kept messing with settings and it started working again. Rebooted and it went away.

Use the same app from the OP and search for "smart". It will populate smart caller ID. Create a shortcut. Click the shortcut and it will give you permissions for smart caller id. Then try it.

sure thing. Zooper widget Pro. You can get the normal version too.
The best part is that you can actually customize everything to your liking . suchas , if i press the 2 dots between the hours and minutes, i can go to clock, or change it to open any shortcut or app i want to. you can also resize, change color. Everything you like

Buzz launcher. I think it might as well qualify as the Most Customizable Launcher of all . That's way there are 1000+ of themes, because anyone can create one . Then after choosing one you can actually keep customizing it even more at your liking.

It's funny my sprint version is missing most of the stock LG apps including gallery messaging calendar email calculator music and God knows what else. Google messenger was preloaded so I'm not sure if this is planned or a bug or just pre release software. Technically sprint isn't supposed to sell these until Friday.

Would you mind sharing your code on GitHub, I would like to know how you did this and make some edit for myself? Thanks
I know lg already uses a light theme, but if you could make a stock type theme with your touches, that would be dope. I like the influx ui concept, just a little too much pink for me... I've wanted dark themes for so long, but now have gotten used to the light. I just hate how lg themed their apps on the stock theme. If you could make the stock theme more universal across the other apps like messaging and contacts and what not, it would look really good imo. Just an idea. I'm probably the only one.

I meant stock messaging and contacts. Lol. The stock ui color scheme I like. I just hate the contacts and messaging scheme lg uses. What I was trying to say is if you were to make those match the rest of the ui. The stock ui, if done with the same concept as your influx ui would look so much better than how lg did it.

You buy every theme that comes out don't you lol. I never imagined so many themes would come out for the V20 so I started being more picky after the first 10 I bought lol. I'm at 15 total right now not counting the 5 or 6 substratum themes I've bought as well.
