how to install xposed for LG K7 without soft bricking it? - LG K7 Questions & Answers

(i posted this on the wrong forum list by mistake so yeh)
Hi, i recently attempted to install Xposed for two times, however, each time i tried to do so via TWRP and instead it caused my phone to be soft bricked. luckily, i used the KDZ files to unbrick my K7, However i think this happens each time i try to install Xposed On my K7 with TWRP and it fails badly and causes my phone to be soft brick each time and i had to Unbrick it if something goes wrong. so is there another way to Install or Flash Xposed without the risk of soft bricking your phone multiple times?, please, i need answers so that i can have Xposed on my LG K7 without soft bricking it.

[Q] "Security Error"

I recently purchased a LG Optimus G and started installing programs on it. once it got late I plugged it in to my computer (to charge it) and out of habit, i restarted the phone. It got stuck on the LG logo and kept saying Security Error...thats it...no number or any other explanation. I did a hard reset and nothing happened. I NEED INDEPT INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO RETURN IT TO WORKING CONDITION. I spent all night reading other post and devs or other users gave vague answers like "oh download this..." with no link....or use this with dead links.....PLEASE HELP THIS LG NOOB. .
The security error is from uninstalling bloat without having bootloader unlocked. You will need to restore using a program called lgnpst with stock firmware. Found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2219953&highlight=jellybean . Links for lgnpst can be found here in teenybin thread ( you may also use teenbin files in place of stock firmware if you want to install custom ROM, it will unlock bootloader and install twrp recovery) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230994 . If you decide to install custom ROM it will need to be on SD card so it will be available in recovery.
Edit... Be certain you have AT&T LG E970 model before attempting this, if you have any other model you will need to use different files.

What are common ways to hardbrick a phone while rooting?

Hi, I would like to root my lg g flex 2 h955 v15c. I already found the system image on this forum and easyroot instructions.
Based on what I read soft bricks are easily repaired by reflashing firmware but hard bricks are very difficult our impossible to fix.
This is my first time rooting and I would like know how to avoid hard brick since losing my phone would be quite a disaster. There must be some common ways people brick their phones.
Please keep in mind I already read about doing nandroid backup of the system and I think I have correct Rom for my device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-flex2/development/euro-955-15c-rooted-t3237599. I will also fully charge it and keep the cable connected while flashing.
Anything else to avoid hard brick?
Thanks!
When a phone is rooted do not OTA update (Over The Air) It is the wifi update for your system. It is not recommended to factory reset a rooted phone too.
(This is pretty obvious but) Do not drop your phone in the water (if it is not water proof) XD
Also when you erase important files and soft brick it it's alright.
But when your recovery and adb does not work, in short you're screwed.

Thank you for the link!
Can you confirm that the systemimage I selected is right for my phone(lg g flex 2 h955 v15c-eur-xx)? I mean I know it's exactly the same version as in the thread but I'm kinda paranoid

Have you tried flashing TWRP with splash tools and then flashing Magisk in TWRP ? I dont own the Lite version but I wold assume it would work just the same ?? Or if you are unable to root - why? are you getting errors or something?
Or if you just want SuperSU root - check this thread at elephone forum (or search on here - plenty of tutorials on rooting)

What errors ? what issues stop it from working?.. I mean can you flash using flash Tools ok? you get errors when rebooting? Need more info in order for anyone to offer help
It flashes fine in sp tools but the recovery doesn't actually work itself (fails to boot into recovery or either refuses or just boots up instead or I end up with a hard brick like last time lol)

rooted my lg fortune2 and then made rooky mistake bricking my device

I recently rooted my lg fortune 2 by installing the lg aristo 2 twrp file and magisk. This was my first rooted device so I was surprised at my success but being new at this it didn't take me long to attempt to use a module from magisk that encrypted my device. I hadn't flashed a no verify opt zip because i didn't know i needed to lol. So me being a novice i ended up wiping-deleting my os in twrp while trying to fix it. Since i bricked my device iv'e tried to install factory lg firmware using lg bridge,lg mobile support tool and the lg flash tool for flashing kdz files but they always fail at 5% installation with a contact your local admin screen when it fails. Is it possible to flash stock firmware for cricket devices or could i somehow turn a kdz file into a zip file i could install via twrp. I also haven't had any luck finding a tot file for my device either.
Fortune 2 help!
Hi,
My lg fortune 2 lm-x210cm10o is being a pain. If you wouldn't mind too much, I would like to know where you got your root method from. It's been two weeks of failed attempts and to be honest I was just about to throw the same thing out the window. I mean that literally. So, to prevent such a catastrophic tragedy, could use a little help.
Thanx if you can or cant,
Matthew

Question need help getting out of bootloop (bricked hell)

I dont know where else to look for the result to fix my issue.
I cant get my previously Nord N200 (de2118) i say previously because at somepoint ive flashed a 2117 at some point. before SHTF i was running /e/os unlocked and rooted. I was planning on switching to LibremobileOS and the WIKI was down so I decided to try it myself. Well now i cant get it to boot. And me thinking since ive use MDM before to fix it once, I've just been tyrying to flash TWRP and recoveries on boot and recovery and im at a loss. I cant get this tutorial https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...le-slot-requires-unlocked-bootloader.4401113/ or this one https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-to-restore-your-device-to-oxygenos.4324431/
i've read almost unbricking and downloaded everything provided and im stuck aganist the wall and need some guideance.
if someone can help me fix this, you will be saving my ass. i have 20 hours beofre i need my phone!
just restore the factory image using the "MSM download tool repacked" thats been posted in the n200 forums. for the de2118 use one below
