About new os 6.0.1 for A500G
Ive upgraded my a5 to android 6.0.1 with the band version A500GXXU1CPH4 and found noting new other than the icons and security patch with Marshmallow os; still the skin of the dialler, systemui, etc remains the same as in the lollipop.
Google play services error after updating
Can anyone help me...after flashing the firmware everything is working fine except google play store and google play services.
It shows a notification that "Google play services wont work unless you update google play services". And after I tap that notification google play store is opened but it does not load anything its just stuck like that...blank...I can swipe from left to see my account logged in but cannot access the play store to update or download...its just white blank

Yesterday the same happened to me. I just restarted my mobile and tried; the play store showed up and I happend to update the google play service. Also check ur Internet connectivity buddy
I rebooted but it didn't work. Did a factory reset too...even though it doesn't work. After factory reset it is stuck in checking info when i open google play.
Came back to lollipop. I downloaded the 6.0 firmware from updato.com

I am unsure buddy but in my case I just upgraded my phone via OTA. If the os Is not installed then download the same from sammobile and install it via odin by putting ur phone in download mode. this will do.

I download the ROM and successfully installed on my F460S. When running the "VDT-V1 Super Lite LG G3 Cat 6" bat file, it took about 7 minutes before I can go to the phone recovery mode. When I select "Select wipe data / factory reset" on the phone, it took a long time before the process completed (maybe 5 or 6 minutes). I was a little worry when this process took so long, but it finally completed. I follow the rest of the instruction without any problem. I setup the phone again (from Titanium Pro backup) and have not encounter any problem yet. Thanks VanDieuTot for the first F460S ROM and looking forward to your continue supporting this phone.

What is a viable option for rooting F460K?
Does this ROM persist through reboots and if the F460 can load a custom ROM then I'm guessing it's not that hard to load it on the other G3 versions (despite locked bootloaders)?
Also, is there anything significantly different about the F460, aside from the CAT 6 4G, compared to the other G3s?

I bought Micromax Canvas Spark q380 2 days back and have either uninstalled or disabled most of useless apps that were pre-installed in it. I have updated most of Google related apps and have not installed any other 3rd party apps. Only Clean Master was manually updated (ie not through Play Store but getting installed/updated itself)
Now whenever I connect to internet then I am receiving ads in notification bar to install apps.

install kingroot 4.8 and download ES FILE MANAGER from play store, then open ES FILE MANAGER and open his SETTING then disable RECYCLE BIN and enable ROOT EXPLORER, then permission ALLOW, then goto above side bar and go to DEVICE MEMORY (not internal memory, not external sd card), then open VENDOR folder then open OPERATOR. select all 7-8 application and delete it, then restart and enjoy and plz reply me if u r not satisfied, bcz i hv those mobile and i was faced this problem.

I am unable to uninstall or even disable "software update". I was only able to force stop it, but it again restarts..
F**K you Micromax for installing such malware/adware. I am surprised that inspite of selling millions of this model, one has complained about it. When I am posting this feedback on snapdeal, than those buggers are deleting my reviews...

Gear Fix for Note 9
As we know recently custom ROM breaking Gear connection and I have fixed it very early with first release of my ROM
Recently my colleague @geiti94 seek help for this and I have share my apks to help him
As fair share policy of XDA rules, now it can be used by others as well with proper credits So sharing here my apks which you can use on any N9 ROM. (May be on non TW as well, but not tested)
Requirement
- If you have already Paired then first unpair it from BT settings
- Must uninstall Gear App if you have already Installed (Settings - Apps - Look for Gear wearable, Gear Plugin and Samsung Accessory services and uninstall all). If Gear Wearable Installed as System App then find it and Delete from system first)
- Sign hack mod must included in ROM
Installation :
Download all three apks from below link and Install as regular apk. (it should meets all requirement as said above)

PS : At presently all apks are latest. If any updates available you can update and if that breaks connection, let me know, I may update packages if requires (Provided samsung haven't patched it again )

Uninstall all the app you have installed related to gear
Open bluetooth settings - select setting symbol beside gear - Unpair
Install my patched apks - connect device and it should work
If still issue you can reset gear and clean install ROM, more that this nothing I can fix if something missing on your ROM.

After installing apps (said in op) when you open gear wearable, it will throw error if sign hack not applied in rom
If some one have the skills... An flashable. ZIP version. would be nice.

You don't need this on my rom. Simply clean install rom and try connecting with gear. It will Auto install required package from store.
According to some sources, the update came out.
There are april security patches, daydream and improvments.
I have B03 and I don't have any update via fota.

That's the date for the April security patch. B03 is 1st of November.
It is a bit weird though that nobody got the file in 3 days, I'll give you that.

Some of us went back to B02 to obtain and logcat it but till now no sign of life of the B04. Previous ones, I grabbed within a few minutes....so a bit weird this one doesn't show up...
Keep you updated when it does.

@svsavic can also extract the zip by downloading it only but not installing it.
I don't remember the location tho where it gets downloaded to. I think it's either in root directory or inside /cache/fota
FYI, I have checked every single entry for Axon 7(OPEN MARKET) from https://www.ztedevices.com/en/support for all contries and the update is not present on that website.
I'm letting you know to save you from wasting a lot of time (I did it at work )
