Anyone have any luck getting the Sony Tasks app syncing properly with MS Exchange? I tried out the Xperia XA before swapping for X, and XA at least had Tasks working with Xperia Calendar as a local account. Seems like Tasks/Xperia Calendar/Exchange on the X variant is a no go.

Right now post CES and MWC, it looks like the Xperia S is the best candidate to replace my SGS II. One thing I particularly love about the Samsung is their support for Exchange - the email client, contacts, calendar AND tasks.
Can anyone comment on the Sony Exchange clients? I presume tasks aren't there (Samsung is the only one that seems to support it as an OEM).
I'd like to know this also, my Droid 3 also has full msexchange which is my work phone but i'm thinking about the xperia S for personel use and would be nice if it has msexchange accounts built in, can any1 confirm?

Yes they do support MS Exchange, contacts and calendar, I don't know about tasks as I never use them.

Android has native support for exchange without a need for external applications. I'm using my X10 with all the exchange pushes (email, calendar, etc.) to my phone directly without a need of other applications. If you have your google account, it will load it into your google calendar and then back down to your device. Very handy when I have 2 calendars for 2 different purposes. So the S will definitely support exchange. Hope that answers your question.

Hi random question.
On my Sony Xperia z1 Ive completed close to 100 levels of frozen freefall and connected to Facebook.
I've now bought an Xperia z2 tab and my game progress isn't syncing from Facebook.
Is it something I'm doing wrong??
Does the game not sync with Facebook?
If not, is it possible to copy the save from the phone to my tablet??

I had this exact same problems with my Z, and now i have gotten a Z2 for workphone, and still i run into this problem.. WTF Sony!?
Setting up Hotmail on the build in email app does not work.. Automatic setup, POP3, Exchange Activesync, IMAP, different settings such as hotmail/outlook server name, ports etc etc does not matter.
It loads up my last email, but it wont sync new ones - It says sync error..
I want to get notified as soon i get email and i want to use the build in app..
Can anyone help me out here? Never had this kind of problems on LG, Samsung, Nokia, HTC, its just setup up and go... What is it that Sony cant do which every other manufacters can do easily?

It always worked for me and stopped working lately.
I don't think it is a Sony problem, but a Microsoft problem.
In stead of push notifications I set it to check every hour and now I get notified when there is mail.
But if its a microsoft issue, why is it working with the build in email app on both my LG V10 and HTC One but not my Z2?
That is a good question...
As push notifications are initiated from the server when a new mail arrives and as it works when my phone asks if there is a new mail, I still believe that the problem should logically be server side.
But for the reason why, and why it works on other clients/phones I haven't got a response.
Maybe bill gates' Walkman has aten his favorite tape and he has taken vengeance by blocking Sony from his services xD
I don't get it. Every other email app works just fine on the Z2, Gmail works fine on the built in email app, every other phone I have owned worked fine with Active sync on Hotmail, but not on the built in app on my Z2.. I really want to use the built in app, this is ridiculous.
It works on the first sync after setup, then it won't sync anymore , saying temporary sync problems.

Now i done a factory reset, but still the same.
Went up to my mom and looked at her Z1 today, she is using @Live.com, and her syncs just fine. I noticed a difference is the servername, on mine its dub405-m.hotmail.com and on the Z1 it was dub408.. I tried to change mine todub408 but its set itself back to 405 again.
ARGH how annoying !!
I think i have found the cause of the problem - put Screen lock either PIN or PATTERN or password then should work. Then once delete the account and make same new one.
On both my Z2 and my moms Z1 i cant sync my Hotmail account on the built in app, but on my HTC and LG devices its working just fine.
My moms @Live account works fine on her Z1, and i have another test account which is Hotmail.com which is also working just fine..
Can anyone think of ANYTHING here? i have been searching for days now but nothing.

The problem had something to do with my inbox.. I moved all my inbox email to another folder, set up email on my Z2 again, moved all emails back and setting up email on my Z2 one more time.. After a while it seemed to load emails from a month back as i set it too, and now it seem to work just fine..
Still i dont know why the Z2 had problems and not my LG or HTC..
