Hi two times I faced this issue, When download any game or stopped the game while downloading on CM security store. It effect screen lock, which is just a slide lock, What 's my issue is when I slide open lock it keeps restarts continuously. So I switched off and on This time didn't slide for lock and just dragged notification bar and changed the screen lock pattern. It works but when I re changed to slide same repeats, So what it might causes to happen like this.

After I gave my Desire HD to my brother for a minute, the lock screen dissapeared completely. Whenever I turn on my screen, there is no lock screen. The same goes for incoming calls, no lockscreen and no lock bar to answer the phone.
I've searched arround a little, and only found threads about turning off the lockscreen, which appearently is impossible without the use of a certain app? I'm quite sure I havn't got such an app installed and I'm quite sure that my brother didn't mess arround a lot with my phone. I just let him use the browser for a while.
What could be the problem? I'm using LauncherPro.
I got a simple pattern lock for my phone and it works everytime at each first try I make.
Just a minute ago, it didn't work. It skipped some dots even when my pattern gesture is precisely correct. Is this a known bug? Do you sometimes experience skipping dots even when you knew you have drawn the correct pattern?

Try to rest the pattern and then restart the phone. It should work fine after that.
Hey all. I keep having a strange issue. I noticed after pulling my phone off my charger that when I went to unlock my phone that the lock that appears on the lock screen is very very small. I restarted the phone and it was back to the normal size. I received a text and opened it from the lockscreen and after that the lock was back to being tiny again. After a restart it is back to normal size again. Is this a setting somewhere or do I have something else going on? I am unrooted using stock lockscreen and Apex launcher. Thanks for any help.
I have had this same problem on my stock s4. It seems to occasionally happen after launching an app right from the lock screen like you said with the text message. The only way I have gotten rid of it was by performing a restart like you said. Not exactly sure what the full problem is yet.
Hey so my v10 sometimes doesn't allow me to unlock my phone with my fingerprint and I have to manually enter my password. Is this a problem for anyone else or just me? I have changed the fingerprints and changed lock screen from knock code to pattern but neither helped.
Yes I get this too. I know it will force manual entry after reboot but I experience this throughout the day from time to time. Its inconsistent.
Do you use an app to put the phone to sleep? There is a known issue in Marshmallow where fingerprint unlock will not work if the phone is put to sleep via an app rather than the power button.
I do double tap the status sometimes to turn the screen off but I don't think it's that. And no I don't use an app to turn off the screen
Hello all, I am currently researching some new phone as my Lg G2 is failing. I thought I would explain the issue though incase its something that could be fixed. The issue started the other day when my phone kept activating in my pocket even with screen lock on. When I try to use my phone the screen would randomly change to a clock face with a small lock symbol in the bottom right of the clock . This clock would be on the top of the screen and the screen would only respond to touch inside the clock image. It would not unlock when swiping. Also while this clock is on my screen if I received a incomming call the clock would be replace with the normal accept or decline screen while shrunk in this small box the clock occupied. It would let me swipe accept call and talk.
I could not google this issue, anyone seen this before?

Wanted to add, I also reset phone back to factory settings and it didnt fix it.
