no. last night my phone popped up this.
then rebooted into twrp and failed to install. then i went into file explorer of twrp and set it to "time" and updater/temp folder had that file, so I copied to sd and rebooted

ahh, yeah we got a similar update on the HTC 10, only shows Aug security update
What did change after this update?
I already this OTA 4 time and the upgrade fails every single time, the HTC website doesn't display this version number so I guess I will wait.

The only difference I've noticed is that "Android Security patch level" now appears in Settings> About> Software information, and indicates the August 1, 2016 date.

I did not create it I just overwrote the image in it with the att stock one. Ignore the description in the zip

10-4 The new radio is working pretty good for me so far, but having my backup in a flashable zip will come in handy if I decide to switch back when away from a PC.
I have made full system dump of KitKat for Verizon Moto X (build version Blur_Version.140.45.5.ghost_verizon.Verizon.en.US).
There is boot.img inside archive also. Boot.img is signed by Motorola. So it can be flashed on phones with locked bootloader.
Anyone who wish to make VZW KK flashabe zip can use this system dump and boot image.

Just getting my Dev Edition from a Swappa purchase sometime today; been reading on what/how since they pulled the trigger on Kit Kat as soon as I bought it.
It should already be unlocked/rooted/twrp installed.
So, is the ZIP here one that I could simply flash through TWRP or would I need to handle differently? And, if so, would there be any repercussions? (lose root I'm sure; what about TWRP recovery - I'm sure it's older than more recent 4.4 version that's out)

when u get it..download hashcodes new twrp 2631...its made to work with 4.4. then like post above we have to fast boot the modem and then reboot to twrp and flash rom. twrp should ask u to root it

Thank you to the both of you! Flash was successful (I flashed the T-Mo modem first, then the ROM) on the America Movil XT1058 for Puerto Rico (which is essentially the AT&T version, only there wasn't a bootloader lock )
It was a bit of a pain just removing all the bloatware that came along with the Verizon version (had to combine recovery /system remount and TiBu to get everything removed), but I'm not complaining!

Was anyone able to make a zip of the Verizon radio?
I managed to download the lollipop stock firmware for the Note 3 using Kies. Its file name comes in as N900VVRUEOB6_N900VVZWEOB6_N900VVRUEOB6_HOME.tar.md5.
I am uploading to Google Drive right now.

I ODIN the above firmware from 4.4.4, the result was PASS but after reboot the phone is stuck on initial Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Logo...

Not yet, I think may be the first boot will take long time...so i was waiting since 20 min...I will try to Factory reset now...
Edit: Factory reset did the work...
I am not rooted. When I did both updates required for reaching lollipop, both times it was at the Verizon logo for a long time. Each time I thought something had gone wrong, but I just hung in there. So normally that part of it is slow.
Firmware is also now on SamMobile.

The firmware from Sammobile is of size 1.5 GB because it is zipped...
Please upload the firmware (zipfile) after downloading, in your google drive and share the link with us....so that we dont have to download 2.4 GB file from the OP...

Please dont upload the unzipped firmware which is around 2.4 GB...
It will be better if you upload the zipped firmware which is around 1.5 GB....

No, upgrading won't make you lose anything. EVERYTHING will be the EXACT same as before. Even if you are using a different launcher.

Did you copy the model folder it extracted when you installed lgup?. It's looking for it in the location stated.

could you please elaborate, when i extracted the LGUP compressed file, i got two files and one folder "common" inside the folder one file "LGUP_common.dll"
and in the path "C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model" i found two folder, but there is no "com" folder, what shall i do?

Copy the model folder it extracted and paste it with the other two folders. So there should be three folders when you are done.

MM is not worth it to me either... I'll be sticking with rooted 5.1.1. Loving Root!

Yes. Without success, in fact. Whenever I try to downgrade with LGUP it gives me an error around 9% saying "Tot anti-rollback version is smaller than version on device". I'm pretty sure it is impossible to downgrade. So for those of us who have upgraded; Need to wait for marshmallow to be rooted.

I have talked to both HTC and T-Mobile and it will probably update to Oreo in the next 2 or 3 months... I hope sooner than later ?
We don't need to wait on Tmob , what we need is a system pull from any life with the Oreo.

Hey OMJ I would like to ask you is there anyway how you guys can create your own Wi-Fi tether app. I see using the carriers tether app is almost unusable because the speed is crawling at about 0.19mbps. I tried to message you this but it said message fail. I also have the U11 Life. I'm trying to see if there is a way to get a Wi-Fi tether app going that would allow you to share the maximum bandwidth speed with other devices. If it's anything I can do to help like putting it in a testing phrase or do anything with a laptop I would definitely help. Thanks in advance
