Cant update to miui8 stable 8.0.1.0 rom from dev rom 6.8.18.Updater shows can't verify the file.SC is attached

I am on Global developer rom latest 6.8.16 in RN3 SD and tried to install through updater app "choose update package"but it says couldn't verify the package. Unlocked and I switched from stable to developer just by updater app only. Confused any suggestion?

Download the fastboot rom of global stable 8.0.1.0 flash via EDL method if your phone is locked.
If you have unlocked your phone flash it via fastboot method.

Link for the both methods with steps please. Thanks in advance

Mi flash with unlocked bootloader

Hloo everyone. If I have an unlocked bootloader can I directly flash using miflash or the steps would remain same as that of locked bootloader given at mi forums.
Yes. You can flash it with miflash normally but your bootloader will get relocked.

Yes I already unlocked bootloader
did you tried the existing guides here?
if you did what failed?
I suggest you using the orange fox recovery, I tried before the red wolf but couldnt make it work on latest versions. Once you have the recovery, install magisk.
