Ah come to think of it not sure you can get logs coz USB debugging won't be enabled and pc won't recognize your phone.
Worth trying tho. Connect phone to pc and whilst it's looping type adb logcat in terminal.

beta1: initial build
beta2: fixed strict mode a.k.a (border red line)
beta3: compiled with SABERMOD 4.9 and kernel be compile with 4.7 as usual
beta4: from latest source, VPN bug fixed as per the testers
beta5: inbuilt working camera app with camcoder fix || Install Android system webview app from playstore to fix issues on Webview related issues such as Youtube || apps will be installed a bit slower
FIXES:
For ldpi apps: test apps from kitkat ROMs
Workaround for some issues
For playing videos. Enabling AwesomePlayer instead of NulPlayer inside Developer Settings will make most videos work, however still 3gp videos'll look weird. Installing third party players like vlc will reproduce them with no problem
-For apps that needs bigger screens like Messages, Music and AudioFX you can enable expanded desktop for these apps by going to Settings->Display & lights. If you still don't like the Music app, you can replace it with the Apollo from Omnirom. You can download it from here and install it. If you want to install it as a system app and replace the other music player, go to /system/app and create a folder named "Apollo" and place there the Apollo.apk and set the permissions as -rw-r-r- and delete the folder named Eleven inside /system/app
-For email, there are a lot of options to install from the Play Store
MultiSim:
How to enable/disable multisim?
Type the following on terminal
Enable:
Code:
su
setprop persist.radio.multisim.config dsds
Code:
su
setprop persist.radio.multisim.config none
Notes:
-Root is now disabled by default in CM. To enable root, first enable developer options. Then enable it in Settings -> Developer Options -> Root access.

Rom boot fine, pretty clean and smooth as expected.. i flashed gapps from opengapps (stock package) but i cant login, google play services give me fc, ill try with suggested gapps.. a strange settings found in Settings, Buttons, it seems made for phones with buttons backlight so is useless here and should be removed to keep AOSP clean i think.
ps. if you can add this line
Code:
<string name="reboot_title">Reiniciar</string>
<string name="reboot_confirm">El dispositivo se reiniciará.</string>
<string name="reboot_progress">Reiniciando…</string>
to all spanish strings in frameworks_base/core/... will be apreciated. :fingers-crossed:

@mistercheese, are the CAF optimizations only applied to the kernel, or to the ROM itself too? I'd install this ROM with aCC kernel, but if the optimizations are only in kernel's code, this makes no sense, 'cause I'll change it and so lose all the optimizations.

The kernel is just cm's CAF kernel and the optimizations is in the ROM. So flashing acc kernel can be a huge difference. I am also working on a kernel but that takes time.

All right. If I've understood that right, the ROM itself is optimized too. So, flashing it with another kernel doesn't mean that I'll lose alle the optimizations made by CAF. Thanks, I'll install this rom right now.

Hi @mistercheese , thanks for build another ROM for D855 (I Will test it as soon as I can). Only a question, that can be useful for everyone. If I want root, the correct installation procedure Will be:
1. Wipe
2. Flash Rom
3. Flash Gapps
4. Flash SuperSu
5. Flash mr Bump
Is correct? If yes, which version of SuperSu I have to Install? Thanks
Edit: we need 21C modem in order to flash the ROM?

Bug reporting by me on fresh full wipe:
- wake up screen when notification recive not happened
- in beginning of wizard vision makes FC's , emergency its OK ( I try pico gapps, dynamic gapps, and base gapps)
Update option in setting is unnecessary. Can be remove.

So isn't there any chance to get call recording feature?
How is this vs lineage os? I like the idea of simplicity

WE NOW HAVE AN OFFICIAL TELEGRAM GROUP - StatiXOS @ Telegram.
About Us :
StatiX was brought to life to give users a ROM that not only provides the benefit of stability but combines it with the power of performance too. We have done so in a way by doing a bring-up of CAF on AOSP sources.
The StatiX team would highly appreciate that anyone who tries this ROM to take a little bit of your time to leave us your valuable feedback, your honest opinion or even just to say hello. If you should encounter any issue, bug, or some kind of glitch that seems to be abnormal and you are pretty sure that it is related to the ROM (and not related to any special apps or mods you flashed on top), then please give as many details as you can, and if it all possible, please attach and include a logcat. Thanks.

Who said that ? Dev might just have missed to IR camera in the Bug list. Even if the sources are out, IR camera isn't coming sooner on the custom roms because AOSP doesn't have any provision for IR camera. It till now has only been a feature of OEM skins.
used this rom, overall good
1) could add the notch hiding option
2) app notification setting FC

No such issues here, can you flash Magisk and try to reproduce the issues?
Also do note that I don't support any custom kernel for now.
Awesome development without bug.
Got Bootloop twice after flashing.
I followed the instructions from the first post,
1)Clean Dalvik, Cache, System, Data
2)Flashed firmware 3.6.1
3)Flashed Rom and Gapps together the first time, and the 2nd time I flashed them separately.
4) Rebooted system..and got Bootloop..!

Wipe again and flash rom+gapps at once then reboot, if you do that it's impossible to get bootloop.
Make sure you have twrp 3.2.1 official, also if you flash a big gapps package it will take a while to boot, it doesn't mean it's bootlooping.
If you followed that and still have bootloop get logs.

Try a clean flash with just rom+gapps, flash magisk after you did the initial setup.

Hi! Curious about signature spoofing?
What exactly is this ?

It's a patch that allows an app to fake it's signature to pretend to be another, and is implemented in a way that the user has to grant the app permission to do so. It is mandatory for using microg in lieu of google's play services, for those of us who (rightfully) distrust google.
