calm down bro, as far as i can see, beside some useful posts in the past, you are asking a lot, which often sounds demanding, for stuff, features, roms ; instead of doing a little research for already given answers, instead of carefully reading the threads and instead of testing the things own your own and sharing your experiences afterwards. This just leads to many unnecessary posts, which dilutes the important contents for everyone more and more (similar i explained to you before already). . and again the last 4 posts, including mine, would not have been necessary. That's my point and i dont like.

Thanks for new kernel. I just installed it.

@tycoo sorry for the question, but I didn't find something related to that, is there the color calibration script included? Thanks in advance for the kernel.

Works well.
Thanks.

Working great! Thanks a lot tycoo.
For those wondering, yes, this has colour calibration script.

Im going to try it with the latest build. Thanks.

Shouldn't be the problem, next version
Hey Tectas, would it be possible to implement GPU undervolting?
Since the GPU seems to be the reason why the G3 gets warm so easily while for example in Chrome (tried to freeze the CPU clock at 300mhz -> still gets warm, tried to set the GPU clock at 200mhz -> no more warming up), I think you could save a lot of battery here.
I couldn't find a gpu governor/max clock speed that's battery friendly and won't cause stuttering every time I do something.
Hey Tectas could you please support D852?

[D855][Kernel][25-01-16][MM Stock 3.4.110][GCC5.2]Flykernel

About:
I started this kernel mainly for myself, but decided to share it with you.
I would like to keep this kernel 'minimal' but I'm open to suggestions or ideas. With minimal I mean mostly improvements to the source, no instable stuff and no bloated options.
My kernel doesn't need any additional apps to configure it, all values are set by the ramdisk. Only if you want to customize stuff you might use an app.
Version and changes:
Current: 0.6
Short changelog: Bug fixes and improvements (also fixed the bug when changing min cpus online would be stuck at input freq)
Features:
- O3 build
- GCC 5.2 (ubertc)
- 3.4.110
- Optimized flags
- Optimized source
- Latest alucard hotplug (enabled at boot)
- Latest Intelliplug
- State notifier
- Bunch of schedulers (tripndroid by default)
- Impulse governor (by default)
- Kcal support
- Voltage control
- Sound control
- Frandom
- Fsync
- ExFat

I try to configure my kernel so that you don't need to customize anything, so impulse with tripndroid (default) is pretty good.

no, it doesn't
Add kcal and a sound engine. Also I would reccommend you upload to AFH. Google drive is slow for me. Also once many start downloading the gdrive link might not work later on.
Edit: Flashed it running smoothly. No issues at all (Y)
Flashed it. It's fast, but my phone has insomnia and does not want to sleep.
Maybe due to this, it's a bit hot and battery hungry.
Will try to wipe caches again and report back.
Thanks!
As suggestions, I'd like to have another hotplug (msm) manager and Lionheart governor for the CPU, and maybe reduce gpu minimum speed to 27mhz.
congratulations on this magnificent kernel, could incorporate some overclock CPU and GPU, thanks
Enviado desde mi LG-D855 mediante Tapatalk
Im using this kernel for a day and so far everything is working fine and smooth, IMO maybe is better to keep kernel minimalistick and clean but wery well optimized or make 2 versions 1 tweaked with bunch of sheluders and governors and 1 simple and clean. Either way great job on this.
thanks for the update, im falling in love with this kernel.
I love this kernel too! Its more fluid than stock and battery seems same. Definetely you guys must give a shot.
Thank you for this awesome kernel! Performance is amazing with it and battery life too!
I've a problem, when i flash this kernel over solidkernel only the minimum core chosen is MSM_mpdecision is activated. If i set the minimum to 1, only one core is activated...

[EOL][KERNEL][G92X][7.0/7.1] N0G33K Kernel V7 - 24 DEC 2018

Mod Edit: Thread Closed per OP request
Welcome to the N0G33K edition Kernel
This kernel is built on the idea of having optimized battery life and performance. A well made balance between these two is what you get.
Read this first
Please do not post requests, because this is my personal kernel and I won't add any stuff I do not want myself (i.e D2W, S2W, AOD, sound control etc). Also I won't add any other support for other devices. Last but not least: I don't reply to questions like: "which governor/scheduler is the best" etc. The choice is all yours.
PS: You need to root yourself (Magisk on Nougat or SuperSU on Marshmallow)
Features

- Doesn't use recycle commits (= commits that have been using in all S6 kernels for the last 4 years, without anything new).
- Based on the A810FXXU2CRH7 source code, which means that its newer than any G920x source out there.

- Great performance and battery life -> Ask @ananjaser1211 who copied the kernel
The kernel wont be updated anymore (no oreo support/updates), therefore enjoy this last kernel while it lasts. If something is broken in Synapse, then so be it.

Want to use this in your rom?: Don't, just forward to the thread.
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for all the damages followed by or to your phone after flashing this kernel. If it bricks, wipes, explodes and you will hold me responsible I will only laugh
Known issues:
- Probably Synapse "backup profile" doesnt work.
F.A.Q. - Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Synapse says no UCI detected
A: Install Busybox to system/xbin
Q: I had a reboot
A: Only report it here if you didn't undervolt and do it with a log.
A2: If you had random reboot without undervolting, then make a proper log please. Which means I need a last_kmsg from right after the reboot.
You create the log by using this command in adb shell or a terminal or use any 3rd party app like Syslog.
Code:
cat /proc/last_kmsg > /sdcard/last_kmsg.txt

I have read this.... i just ask... MAYBE

I lost RIL (signal) after flashing V3.
Unknown IMEI, but efs partition intact.
Going back to Arter v22 Grace, fixes this issue.
OP is aware of this, and will look into it, so have a nandroid backup in your hands, and be sure you have a fresh efs backup, prior to flashing V3.
It might not happen to you, but since some users have V3 installed already without issues, consider your self warned.

Yes like I stated the N7 compatibility is still in beta. So far this is the first case where there is no signal. I am taking a look into it.
Also people you dont need an EFS backup or something, flashing back to stock or arter N7 kernel will just be fine.

This kernel is more faster than artx and light kernels, I am of those who cannot see a little lag because that bothers me and this kernel keeps my device smooth...
I didn't tested it on stock and I don't think that it will work, anyway, I can try to build custom stock kernel but I think that it's too late now for build to marshmallow

COOL.....but after trying every single custom rom MM or N......i went back to modded Stock rom because of stability and Camera Quality.... and literally i have tried EVERY SINGLE ROM out there.

Nice too See a New kernel again.. But... You sad its fast er then the other kernel of yours. I'm using the latest LightKernel, so this Ultimate kernel is faster and i want to now if this kernel is better in battery life ?

Sorry dude, I re-uploaded it
So, default cpu governor is performance? I hope it doesn't drains battery so much, since I usually prefer to just use the default setting because I believe OP have the best balanced settings there.

I don't know why your default gov is perfomance, change ir to interactive, I'll update this kernel soon... I'm a little busy for now on other things

Keep your time. You don't have to push an update all days. Let the users use it for a while and then report. One day with this kernel and report it is nothing. The system need time to get one with the kernel settings
G3X is pretty much beta. ArtX is not beta (IMO). If you want a more stable kernel use ArtX until this one gets all the kinks worked out.

I think I should also mention that I'm using RR 5.8.3 rom for F400 variant by oadam11, which is also have performance governor by default on its default kernel. Maybe there are something related.
Anyway, take your time, and thank you for your hard work.
EDIT: However, I've tried artxlight 2.1 but its governor wasn't set to performance by default. It was zzmoove.
Hi I have a little problem. When I flash through TWRP I get unsupported device and error 1. My device is d852.

Been using this kernel for awhile, and though we have many good options out there (RZ, blu, and the countless custom kernels in the roms we flash daily), I find that π has the best handle on boosting the smaller cores. I also think the input / touch response time is noticeably smoother on this kernel.
TBH it's not the one I'm running right now, but I'll probably be back to π when the next release is posted.
Go to the telegram channel if you need immediate support. I've only tested on stable 9.0.1.
This is the best kernel for the op5

Hey this kernel has grown tremendously since I started testing it on TG. I used to think this was a "good", not "great", but I wasn't letting it settle. It seriously takes about a good 15 minutes for things to just feel right. If you gave up on this kernel before, try it again, you will not be disappointed in it's reliability.

OP San, it might be placebo but when I turn on enable_prediction to 1 in the country governor options, I seem to get better performance. This seems to only benefit the little cores, when I enabled it on the big cores I started to suffer a lot of stuttering.
Why is this setting netting me performance? Is it off by default for a major reason?
I think as long as I'm on oos, I can't leave π kernel for now. To my use, this is the best one I can find right now. Huge thanks to the Dev for bringing this kernel to 5T.
