How about you try out some of WP7 launchers that are available on market ?
Why would you like to install WP7 on Android device? Every app available on WP7 is also available on Android, but it doesn't work both ways - there are so many apps for Android, which will be propably never released on other platforms.\
By the way, hello, Live with Walkman community, bought my new phone at Thursday

[Q] is it possible have just the android OS?

hi guys,
i'm approching now to the world of mobile OS, and i don't understand something.
i hope someone can answer to my questions
in a computer i can install an OS , ubuntu, mac os, window, debian etc
in my mobile phone can i install just an OS without apps or something else (except for default apps)?
for example can i instal just Android 4.0.4 ??
if yes, where i can find it?
and if yes, wich default apps have Android 4.0.4?
I do not think it is possible. The OS comes with hardware drivers..
If possible then anybody will able to upgrade their OS in latest android JB.

Bro, Microsoft has removed the Android subsystem from the latest Windows 10 Mobile builds. Also the Project Astoria project has been shelved.

Install APKs on WIndows 10?

Hey Guys, I heard it's possible to install Android APKs to my WIndows Phone.
I just updated my NOKIA Lumia 920 from 8.1 to 10.0.10586.545 (Custom ROM) to do that.
I found some tutorials where I have to use "APKTOW10M" or "wconnect" but I always get "Error bootstrapping the device Error code=8".

I've read it WAS possible https://mspoweruser.com/how-to-install-android-apps-on-windows-10-mobile/
In this Tutorial I saw that the recommended OS Version is Build 10512.
SO if I Install Build 10512, it should work, or not?
Then there's the question... how can I get this version?
simply not worth... is not all apk work and work much terrible than worst WP apps and that old build is full of bugs...
Astoria is dead.
cant bring dead things to life....wait fo a miracle some day!!!

Need to root to download Microsoft Teams?

I am looking to root my Galaxy View so that I can upgrade to a newer version of Android and had a couple of questions. What version can I update to without running into problems and will updating to a newer OS allow me to install apps that were not compatible before such as Teams? This is my first time rooting a device since my original Motorola Droid and much has changed it seems. Thanks for any help.
Idk why Samsung wouldn't continue to support their largest device on the market. Here's an idea why don't the apps just continue to support all devices they did use at one time. They already have the os so just but it back on the server like the current os is. So it's the app writers that's making devices obsolete.
