Music player gets stopped on opening Quikr app - Honor 5X Questions & Answers

I have 590MB of free Ram. Im in EMUI 3.
When I start the Quikr app, my music player gets paused. Is this app related behaviour or it is belonging to problem in EMUI?
Can the users of Cm13 replicate this issue?

Any update, anyone tried it ?

maybe becuase of the street view in quikr app.
as there is media playing in quikr it makes other media players to stop

mine works quite well on local media - I NOW DO NOT HAVE THE LOW BATTERY LIMITATION OF THE STOCK PLAYER
I do not have anything in the cloud, so did not test that playback.

I think i figured out the problem, it seems that the equalizer program was causing some conflict and making it crash. It seems to be working fine without the eq.

[Q] [q] Any chance of getting themer to support the Shuttle music player?

I recently started using the music player Shuttle because it has a very clean look, shows artist as a list, and fully supports the ability to use google now to play an artist/album (instead of just a song, like google music). The app is well rated and has a decent number of users. Any chance it will be supported by themer in the future?

It seems Shuttle has been added. Don't get confused that Shuttle isn't shown on the list of music players once you select "Music Source", these are simply suggestions in case you don't have any music players installed.
If you start playing music from Shuttle, does it not display anything in the music widget?

Honestly, there was something I was trying to do in themer yesterday and it did not list themer among a list of supported music apps. I can't even remember what I was trying to do anymore, so I guess it's not a big deal.
Thanks.
id love it if they could do this

Any way to get back the music folder chooser?

I remember briefly there was a firmware (a few months back) where when you went into the music application, you could actually choose a folder that you wanted to play music from.
Does anyone know of a way to re-enable this? I'd love to be able to have separate podcasts and music folders.

I don't know, but you can install Black Player for folder playback if I am not wrong.

Yes, you can use a third party player during Sports activities: just start the player first then click the button to return to home screen and swipe right to sports.
Blackplayer works well:

You can install with APKinstaller:

I installed this and another player called amazing player. Not sure which app is at fault, but one of them is absolutely hammering my battery (from 50% to dead in a couple of hours). That's while the application is not actually playing any music.
blackplayer is very hard to navigate as well. On the plus side, it does have a bass enhancer, which works well.
I don't have a problem with battery drain except when actually using the player to stream Bluetooth audio it will drop by 20% per hour. That's not really fault of player it's just energy used by CPU to decode and stream mp3.
Can u teach me how to change the default player to the system's one after installing the Blackplayer ?
Thanx.

I wasn't able to do that, it doesn't actually associate mp3 files with a default player but will just play it from whatever program it's opened in (probably because it's a cut down Android system).

Camera Sound Clash?

just noticed that if I have a music app playing, whether it be spotify, poweramp or any of my player widgets, when I open the camera app it stops all play back.
Anyway around this?
Music stops if you just OPEN the camera app? Normally it should only stop if you use the camera to take a video.

that's what i figured but no, for me it stops as soon as I open the camera
ok so I've finally received an update from Optus here in Australia and assumed this issue would be fixed, but no, it's still happening....... as soon as I open the camera app any music player stops playing. Spotify, Google Music etc, happens to them all
Has anyone else seen this? Or have an idea on what might be causing it???
wow ok, this was because Audio Control was on in the camera app.
Crazy

Unable to play google music on bubbleupnp

The app keeps barking that it could not find a registered device. How on earth do i register the google music app on my android phone. It is installed and running on my phone. So, i assume it is registered, but bubbleupnp thinks my phone is not a registered device for this app. It was the main reason i paid for this app.
Could anyone offer a tip?

I don't think so unfortunately, you can read that : https://reddit.com/r/YoutubeMusic/comments/hhg308/bubble_upnp_will_it_support_ytm/
But do it anyway, it has already started, it will save your library so you don't lose all of your song

Is there a way to stream pandora, spotify, etc from my android phone to an external renderer (my hifi bluray/sacd player) with bubbleupnp? I don't want to pay for Qobuz or tidal which bubble permits. I am currently using bubble to push music files from my NAS to this bluray/sacd player (dlna). But, i have not figured out a way to stream music from free services like pandora etc from my phone to this player. I use pandora, google play music, etc to find new music.
Any tip you offer is much appreciated.
