I recently updated to MM, and I've been using internet speed meter lite on emui 3.1 just fine but now it does bt show the speed in the status bar... It just shows the app icon.. i have tried other apps but same result...
I don't wanna use the built in speed meter... Please help...

There are a few reasons i don't wanna use that..
1. Can't change its position
2. Can't adjust size
3. Doesn't show used data in a glance

Then maybe marshmallow has some feature which is blocking the Internet speed meter to access the incoming speed.

I did some research and it isn't marshmallow thats stopping the notifications... It's emui 4... It doesn't allow for animated notifs.... Curse You Huawei

Right who keeps getting this every few hours then on some occasions the watch decides to restart after syncing? and also when you tilt your wrist to activate watch face do you get the ambient mode briefly before you get fully lit display? Really annoying now so im going to do a reset to see if it fixes the problem

I got this screen different times the first day I received the MM update opening the apps... I think it was because of new permissions policy.. You can go from your watch into settings->permissions and allow all for all apps so this screen won't show up anymore

Do you have Facer installed? That looks like the Facer sync screen. If it is then that's your problem. It doesn't work well with the 360 v2 for whatever reason.

As shown in the pic... Google services framework is consuming too much data... Almost 1gb overnight.... Can somebody tell what could be the problem??? I checked to see if play store or any large app was updated over night.... But nothing huge was updated....

My battery has also gotten poor for 2 days now.... I didn't do a factory reset but recently updated to b140....

I checked the photos app just to be sure and it sure did backup some of my photos... Thnx for the help... I turned it off....
One small question... Could it also affect my battery life in anyway?

Turning off specific backups will give you better battery.

I'm asking if letting photos make a backup in background will have any serious affect on battery life.... Cause i recently updated to b140 and my battery life has become ****... Even the charging time has increased...

After the B140 update the "Display network speed" option under Display menu disappeared on my KIW-L21, why? Am I the only one? Is there a way to restore it?

Thank you, so they have just changed its location... I've tried to use the built-in search in settings to find this option, but it guided me to nowhere, precisely it was pointed to the Display menu also. I've also checked on my Huawei Media M2 tablet and this setting is also under the Display menu.
Not a bad idea to get search working for menu options

Weird as I don't have this option when I really have KIW-L21 B140... ^^ :crying:

Factory resetting was not part of my plan but I was just wondering why I don't have this option...

I won't be using this option all the time and I was just curious about why it wasn't there as a stock option...
What is with these ads / pop-ups? I have had this G5 for literally 27 hours and haven't had time to do anything stupid with it. Can anyone he'll me with this? Is it something built into the phone or the websites I visit? It happened on my G3 as well. Its happened at (kotdb.com) and (xdaforums)

It's the websites you visit. Download a browser with built in ad-blocking, I use Tuga Browser.

I had this same problem on my S7 edge-except it was worse.Same thing,but it took me to a page that said i had a virus etc etc.Than every time I woke up phone it sent me to the play store.
Only thing that helped was a factory reset.Problem solved.
This phone without root has frustrated me to no end because of this kind of stupid bull****. No more LG for me.

Actually I'm non root, but a phone reboot and now there's a toggle, but I am not sure if it actually records yet, haven't made any calls.

There should be an icon on the call screen itself as well.. To start recording. Works obviously only if connection is established.

Yes got an icon there its greyed out because no-one answered the phone. Hopefully it works when I get an actual connection.
