Overclocked kernel ? - Moto Z Questions & Answers

So it seems that unlocked versions of Moto Z are underclocked to 1.8 GHz respect to the 2.15 GHz used on Verizon's Droid version (beneath still not confirmed here... )
So, can I suggest to developers to insert on customized ROMs a modify to add "overclocked" frequencies?
It shouldn't be hard I think...

First of all, is your device Rooted? I know there are a few re-sellers that sell this device pre-rooted, but they are hard to find. Anyway, if you can read Chinese, the following sites has some good info:
www.apk.tw
wpcnn.com
Not much in terms of custom ROMs, but Root is definitely done.
Root is present and recovery. On apk.tw is no information. It is best to progress is to 4pda. And no source can not be ported Rom's

Help!!! Need oc kernel for mt8382 tablet

Hi friends.. this is my first post. So pardon me if I am posting in the wrong place.
I have a Swipe MTV Slash 4x tablet. In case you are wondering, its a chinese OEM tablet that has been imported & sold here in India by Swipe Telecom under their brand name.
Its based on a quadcore mediatek 8382 soc clocked at 1.3ghz & the GPU is a dual core Mali 400MP clocked at 533mhz. RAM is 1GB. Being of chinese make, the tablet came shipped with Jelly Bean 4.2.2 which is mostly stock with very little to no skinning.
I rooted the tablet very easily using Framaroot v1.9.0. I have installed Roehsoft Ram Expander & Xposed (Gravity Box module) & thus far everything is fine. I remember reading somewhere(guess wikipedia) that the mt8382 is designed for tablets & can run stable at speeds upto 1.6ghz. However since its meant for entry level & lower mid range devices, its usually underclocked to 1.2/1.3ghz out of the box.
I want to try my luck & "overclock" the cpu a bit. I am aware that the stock kernel doesn't support overclocking. So I basically have 2 options..
1. Flash a custom kernel that supports oc
2. Flash a custom ROM that ships with a kernel supporting oc, like cyanogen mod or anything else.
Here is my problem. I am unable to find a kernel or a ROM that is compatible with my device. I am aware of the risks involved in overclocking & am prepared to back up all my data & install a custom recovery before proceeding. I am also mentally prepared for the worst case scenario - a permanently bricked device.
Can somebody help me in finding a kernel for my device that supports overclocking or a custom ROM that has built in oc support?
I am attaching some screenshots that will help you in getting an idea of what device I have.
Thanks in advance

Snapdragon 810 v2.1

Can ALL of the Xperia Tablet Z4 users be safe that die v2.1 version of chip is used in our tab?
Is there a way for checking this?
What cpu temp monitor app you are using?
yes there is.
Apparently in the bootloader it says the revision of the cpu.
If someone would be so kind to check this after android update 5.1.1
cause i got a sneaking suspision there is no difference between v2.0 and v2.1 except kernel source (underclocking the 4 a57 cores to 1.8ghz)
Ok so you think there are no differences between the currently available tablets? only software issue...

[Motorola Spice XT300] Please, help with this old android phone

Well, First, the Motorola XT300 was my first android phone, and I loved use it because it was small, and have a backtrack (like a mouse for the phone).
There are the specifications (You can see it on GSM Arena)
OS: Android 2.1 (Eclair)
Chipset: Qualcomm MSM7225 Snapdragon S1
CPU: 528 MHz ARM 11
GPU: Adreno 200 (Not activated) (Need drivers)
Well, first of all, It suppousedly had an Adreno 200, but the phone not come with the installed driver and use Software acceleration which makes the phone to be slow in everything. Someone can help with It and say if it have an Adreno 200? and If the phone have it, someone can activate it or tell me how? I want to use it back but the phone is too slow including in the launcher and apps like messages or calls.
If someone activate the GPU, I don't know if someone is interested to make a recovery CWM, or a custom rom (android 2.3 , 4 or 4.4.2) for this phone. It have like 8 years more or less... But first of all I want to make the GPU works xD Thanks to everyone

Overclocking?

I have a galaxy tab e sm-t377w (I believe the cpu is exynos) and I managed to root it.
The cpu runs at 1.3 mhz I believe with a quadcore. No idea about the gpu. I want to overclock it just a tiny bit as there is a tiny bit of lag for what I'm using it for. I'm not sure if I should overclock the gpu too or if need to but I believe the next step is flashing a kernel and installing a cpu manager app. I wondering if I'm on the right track and if there's a kernel that already exists for my model or what would be compatible as well as what cpu manager I should use.
If your phone's Android got rooted then you may try Kernel Adiutor, an application which manages kernel parameters.
