Can you describe bricked?
You just need to flash recovery(extracted from the latest firmware of your phone), make a dload folder in your SD card, copy UPDATE.APP to this dload folder.
Turn off your phone, press and hold power + vol up + vol down until phone reboots, let go of power at this time but hold the other two for 5,6 sec more...
Your phone will boot into recovery and start a forced update means all the partitions will be rewritten.
If it does not work, please let us know but it should

I am unable to understand your problem. The method I told you is the universal method for Huawei if you can flash a recovery.
I never came across an instance where it did not work.
Hope you find a solution.

OK. Define brick....do u mean it won't boot at all? If your phone can boot normally, in recovery or in bootloader, it isn't bricked. Bricked is where u can't access anything. U might be experiencing a soft brick. I suggest u return to stock.

If you're after a tool to do flashing and such on H7, u should try Honor Multi-tool u can change both boot and recovery via that tool, and lots of other stuff

If u got b310 stock before, try using b310 stock recovery and then use Update.app from stock b310, that should make your phone go to stock b310 with stock recovery, then u can update your phone yo desired firmware or Rom
I think it matters whether its b310 rec and firmware instead of example b170 rec and b310 firmware

you need to remove root
first you should backup your and all important using hisuite then flash twrp and flash original honor 7 paggage from huawei website but you need to extract that huawei update file then flash system, boot, recovery and reboot
also you phone needs to be unlocked bootloader

First Unroot your device by flashing this UnSu script using TWRP recovery, then go to updater, update your device, if its still doesn't work then lock your bootloader and try again.

Remove root, it will not let the phone to be updated
If iam right...
1. Unroot from su
2. Flash FULL original B341 ROM by extracting the update file
3. Then update by Extracting the B351 update file.
4. ROOT again.

I said recovery.img there is second one named as recovery2.img but you just have to extract recovery.img.
And by flash I meant to flash via fastboot commands, like these:

If you are using the three button method then don't.
Just flash the four images and let Android boot normally.
Use your dialer to dial *#*#2846579#*#*
And choose software upgrade and then SD card upgrade and now it should run till 100%

How long did you let it run when it got stuck at 30%.
When I got stuck at 5%, I used the method I mentioned and it worked for me.
Give it another try or two. Sorry, I don't know of any other way.
Maybe 5 to 10minutes...

Recently Huawei released the official Marshmallow update for Honor5x. I followed the update from setting but only to be restarted and brought to TWRP recovery without any updates. So, I downloaded the updated manually ( so I can flash via TWRP ) only to find the update is not in .image but .app, which means TWRP won't be able to flash the update.
So I took alternatives to install back the stock recovery from Huawei, which I succeeded and I got back my Huawei Stock Recovery. I then try updating via setting update, it downloaded the update, and installed it via stock recovery. But halfaway updating I got ' System Failed to Update '. I suspect it might have to do with my Cyanogen Mod that I installed 2 months ago.
Any idea how I can update to official Marshmallow?

Do I need to flash all 4 of them? I've flash the boot image and when I tried to flash the other files it gave me' size of image is larger than target devices '

Download you phone's stock firmware(refer to the file depot thread). After that, use Huawei Update Extractor and extract the files in update.app, you should get system.img, recovery.img, boot.img and flash them all using fastboot.

No , it won't work . the base ROM installation mean there were many things like bootloader,modem,trustzone and few others . restoring a backup will just install system , data, cache ,recovery and boot .you benifit nothing from that . it actually is u are restoring b320 partial ROM on b360 which mean u are still On b360.
So follow my instructions above to downgrade. It's much easier

No matter what you do, every room boot loops upon flashing on this firmware
regarding the transfer.app
Download this file.
Extract the zip.
You will see transfer.APP file extracted . rename it to UPDATE.APP and then put it in dload folder of ur sdcard .
Goto settings/storage and set sdcard as default storage
Power off your phone .
Press volume down +volume up+ power at the same time .

Phone was ok with this version KII-L21C185B321CUSTC185D001, I tried to reflash but I couldn't find the same version in .app format. I tried to downgrade to KII-L21C185B310CUSTC185D001 through SDCard but it failed. I used ADB to flash KII-L21C185B310CUSTC185D001 through those commands:

Do you mean that menu when phone asks to connects through wifi to recover system?
I already tried this but it didnot start affer wifi connecting.

I have already tried with different FW versions. it stuck at 5% then update failed.

I have already used this package (HUAWEI GR5 Firmware (KII-L21, Android 6.0.1, EMUI 4.0, C185B310CUSTC185D004)) before with my phone without any problem then I OTA upadted the phone to KII-L21C185B321CUSTC185D001. I tried to clean flash the phone after some bugs with viper4android and such mods but I couldn't find full flash KII-L21C185B321CUSTC185D001 so I tried dload method to downgrade to the previous full build (C185B310CUSTC185D004) which is available but it failed at 5%. So I extracted the rom files from (C185B310CUSTC185D004) and pushed them with ADB then I have the wrong info problem and I couldn't make SD card or OTA updates. I tried TWRP backup from device sticky thread and I couldn't make SD card or OTA updates plus fingerprint is not working.

They will work. Extract the update.app and get the files named SYSTEM.IMG ,CUST.IMG , BOOT.IMG,RECOVERY.IMG .
Get these five files from update.app . I will help u with the rest of work. U can unbrick ur phone easily

Wait , u need to flash only cust is it ? All wrong info is caused by the cust partition . I can help u to flash that too.
Do u have twrp installed ?

even though they are specific for Nexus and Motorola devices they can be used with other devices and has solved issues with many others you can have a glance in XDA threads.

I could not find an recovery for Huawei Y6 2018 but I may tell you this:
You may unlock your bootloader and root your device.
How you may root it?
Get the boot.img of your model (you may get it extracting an update.app for your model)
Install Magisk Manager on your device and patch that boot.img
After that go to your PC, make sure you have usb debugging and OEM unlock enabled from dev settings on your phone and install "minimal adb&fastboot 15 sec installer" or something like that and put the patched boot.img in the folder of minimal adb and fastboot.
Now shutdown your device and after that press power and volume down for about 5 seconds and connect the usb cable ( that usb cable should be connected to PC). Now your device should go into fastboot. Now type fastboot devices(In minimal adb and fastboot console). It should show you an number, if nothing shows up then its not good.
If it shows up type fastboot flash boot boot.img
You are done. This may go wrong and may hard brick your device, don't blame me for that.
This requires your bootloader to be unlocked, to unlock it you need to get the bootloader unlock code from huawei, put your phone into fastboot and type fastboot oem unlock (code)

Get the update.app for your device.
The update.app is basically the Stock Rom for your device.
Search google to find it.
Now extract huawei update extactor into an folder. And run the exe. (The link i sent)
And now you will select the update file (update.app) and you should see some .img files, now you may extract all of them, but select the system.img and boot.img and right click on your mouse. You will see the option Extract selected.
Now wait until it extractes itself.

Stock Rom isn't available yet for download.
I've tried installing TWRP using fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
That failed.
Then I used fastboot flash recovery/ramdisk recovery.img
Succes… But then its impossible to boot into TWRP. It automatically jumps to eRecovery.

Hm. Treble made some things different.
Also what recovery you wanted to flash?
I could not find any for Huawei Y6 2018 so you may hard brick your device if you use one for Y6 2015 etc.

I've tried flashing serveral twrp's. ClockWorkMod is definitely a no go. Then there is a mate10 tool. Tried that. Nothing. It says bootloader locked. While frp and bootloader are both unlocked.
I'm not worried about a hardbrick. It was a gift. So just toying around.
Found a stock firmware on easyfirmware.com . But they make you pay. So nope.
I'll just keep on googling until I find something that will work.
My coding is nill. So.... Hope and pray.

Well well well. If you tried to flash clockworkmod or twrp to your device, Huwei Y6 2018, from Huawei Y6 2015 that means hard brick lol, what were you thinking. See the description of the thread lul. You could have hard bricked your device, there are no custom recovery's for Huawei Y6 2018. So be more carefull, clockword recovery is already oold so there was no reason to be for an device from 2018.

I have managed to boot TWRP but it cant mount partition so got stuck in a twrp boot loop. i had to flash another recovery to be able to get to erecovery and boot.
ps: tried to root, dint work!

If you can boot into Twrp then boot into it and try to make an Nandroid Backup of stock Recovery.
