Stock android recent app view on MIUI 8? - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

Alright, I got my new redmi note 3 snapdragon 32 GB variant delivered to me just 2 days ago & I've been customizing MIUI as per my needs ever since. I've also rooted it & installed the xposed framework. I'm coming from a moto G 2nd Gen, which ran almost stock android. I've decided to stick with MIUI instead of flashing a custom ROM like cyanogen to see what MIUI has to offer.
But the one thing I don't like about MiUI is it's recent app view. The thumbnail view(iPhone style) in MIUI shows only 3 apps at a time & the icon view wastes too much vertical space. Comparing this with the stock android recent apps view, I can select like 5 apps without the need to scroll & the design just makes good use of the screen space available on my phone. Is there any mod which would allow me to get a vanilla android style recent apps view in MiUI? Thanks.

kind attention for fancy 2014 tweaks

Hi all, my question is specific , is their a way to change the recent app gui style of an android phone, for example I want my note 2 to have the recent app window style of the HTC one. Note 2 recent apps organizes apps like a one line of a tile of train however in HTC one its like excel .
Second question, the galaxy s5 battery saver feature makes screen like a.kindle somehow black and white surfing.
Will we see these available soon in roms ..
I'm curious if anyone changes the gui of recent apps to a non custom choice

Note 4 customization

I've been stuffing around with note 7 ports for a while now and have gotten tired of poor battery life and other issues so I've come back to stock. I'm wondering what I can do to get close to the note 7 on a note 4 stock base. I'm wondering if I can get the note 7 notification panel (or entire theme), dpi, settings menu, apps like dialer, camera etc and device management. I'm also wondering if I can run multiple versions of smart select, I like the note 7 version because of the gif function, but I like the old version because of the collect function, unless theres a way to have it all in one. Thanks for any help.

Thanks ! Are the AOSP roms anny better than miui in your opinion ?
First time using miui and I kind of like it. Only the vibration feedback isn't the best wishes this phone.

Mi-globe is a modified version of miui and they have Miui 10 pie for our device. It also has less bloat and ads removed. It also has face unlock, wallpaper carousel, and fixed hide notch.
Aosp roms are fine. They are all basic android (no skin like samsung, htc, etc) and range in features from pure android source to massive customization options.
I have like MIUI since I first tried it back during gingerbread. Only thing I miss is the app drawer but have gotten used to using folders on my home screens.
AOSP has been a favorite of mine but i have to say that MIUI does feel nice to navigate and despite all the snappiness of an AOSP rom . MIUI provides many apps that i believe that are themed and presented better this way, although i prefer the google integrations rather than Xiaiomi ones with cloud and assistant, MIUI provides some settings and ease of use that i would otherwise not know that i needed or missed with Google. Point is: it's still fast, it has nice features and customization, don't like the Xiaomi cloud services or ads as i don't need another service keeping tabs on me.
Is the Mi8 lite global beta in Pie btw? I have conflicted results in my searches

Do you know the estrimated release date?
The 9.2.15 Pie is good. But I was disappointed to see Camera2 Api still as Legacy even with Redmi Note 7 coming as Full.

[REQUEST] Swipe Up Mod for MIUI EU (???)

Hello guys,
I've been using aosp based roms for a while now and I loved the swipe up gesture, with that little bar where you pull it up to open recents, click to go home and there's this little back button also, best navigation system I have ever seen for a smartphone, way better than the full gesture of the MIUI EU.
The thing is, for as much as I love roms, Poco ones are way behind MIUI on performance and that game tools app on the latest MIUIs is a killer.
Anyway, is there a port from somewhere to use that navigation system on MIUI, excluding those idiotic apps from the Play Store?
Thank you very much!

I guess this should work for you

Can I get the MIIUI app-switcher without having MIUI?

I know it isn't for everyone, but I really like some of the UI of MIUI - specifically the app switcher which operates vertically and displays two apps side by side.
Has anyone come across an app or launcher which offers the same app-switcher experience as MIUI on no-Xiaomi devices? Or even a complete MIUI theme? (OxygenOS,OnePlus 7 Pro)
Thanks
Hi, maybe it's possible. First your phone should be rooted and you should install miui module on it. Then you can download miui apps and run it on your custom roms.
