He did succeed for me, it's a great job.
thank you very much.

OK I'll bite...
How do we know this is safe on a privacy level. Giving our number through WhatsApp and keys to the phone (likely IMEI) could leave it to possible cloning or other non specific hacking, eavesdropping, etc. Methods

thnx alottt sirr. love u. it worked for me

will this unlock the LTE also for M9 from Sprint? not just the GSM

Why is my Hero still SIM locked?

I have rooted and flashed my Hero with Elilinux Speedmachine, but it is still locked to T-Mobile.
Is there anything I can do to remove this restriction or do I have to pay for the code?

As said a thousand times, rooting and sim-unlocking is not the same.. And i think you should post in Q&A next time
you will have to pay to get a sim unlock code. as stated above, rooting does not do this.
there is no free way to sim unlock the hero.

[Q] Several questions before starting the update on my phone

Hi I introduce myself, my name is Marcelo and one month ago I bought a HTC ONE X+ from AT&t. I'm more or less custom roms install beginner as I have a google nexus s for 3 years and I install many different roms to this phone.
Now I see the htc is not as easy putting on roms so I want to ask some questions before turning it into a brick. I recall that my phone is ATT.
1) If I follow step by step instructions HTC One X All-In-One Toolkit V2.3 for rooting my phone, I can do something wrong or can go wrong?
2) What happens if the phone stops responding for any reason as it has no reset button
3) I unlock my phone from the site cellunlocker by imei, if I install an official update or a custom rom can it re-lock?
4) After installing the recovery if I install a ROM for the international version I can disable my phone?
5) That recovery is better? TWRP or CWM?
6) I read that the version of ATT, the recoveries can not charge the battery with the phone off, what happens if the battery is over before it can be loaded?
7) After running twice BENCHMARK AnTuTu battery temperature arrived to 131 degrees Fahrenheit, is dangerous and can cause problems for the battery?
8) Is there any survey which is the best rom for HTC ATT ONE X
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and help learners to improve their phones!
PS: excuse my English, thanks google translator!

No, it is legal to unlock any phones bought before the law came into effect.
Phone can be legally unlocked with a code from the carrier. T-Mobile, for instance, gave me a SIM unlock code 90 days after starting the contract.
It's unlocking without carrier approval, for phones that are subsidized by the carrier (and not yet paid off), that is now illegal IIRC.

No, I'm pretty sure that any phone purchased before the law came into effect can be unlocked by any means. Under the new law, only the carrier can unlock a phone. And they cannot be unlocked by other means even after the subsidized price is completed (off contract). At least that is the reports I saw on the Internet. I have not read the law itself.

By unlocking you mean from the carrier? If you update, you should receive the update from the carrier you are on.

After relocking you will (Bootloader). I am putting one of my One's on E-Bay, all the work is already done, S-Off, Dev edition RUU, 32 gig ATT version with the media thing. PM me if you are interested, it is going on tonight for shipping to US only. Very good condition, original box.

Does Sunshine say it can do a carrier unlock? Because last I checked Sprint is CDMA, not GSM...
"Sprint SIM unlock features are considered experimental." If the M9 is like my other HTC phones, the command to s-on is "fastboot oem writesecureflag 3" Note: this will brick a device that has any oddities that require s-off like mismatching aboot to firmware, etc. In other words, be sure you are full stock before running the command.

I'm aware that all phones support all of the bands they are just locked...and Sprint last I checked is one that Locks said bands and only "officially" supports CDMA
As I stated earlier, in the sunshine thread, jcase states Sprint carrier unlock is experimental and not guaranteed to work.
yeah i just spoke to them on chat. im going to try to ask for a refund

So you want a SIM unlock? Sunshine is the only method and per the Devs of it, it isn't guaranteed. "SIM unlock for sprint M9 is considered experimental."
Edit: only other way is to call Sprint and have them unlock the SIM. If it's not subsidized, they should have no issues unlocking the SIM.

Worked for me. Then again, I bought my HTC M9 outright from Sprint...
Edit: here is the stipulation on unlocking. Yes, the M9 is capable per this link. Please don't say carrier unlock doesn't work if they state it does and some of us had it happen quite easily...
