Great Work . But Bluetooth is not working.
Performance with this rom is great but i have got a problem. The recent apps button doesn't work. Home and back and all the others works fine tho.
Great rom. Brilliant battery. As mentioned above, only bugs are Bluetooth and recents button mapping.

Has to have 5.1.1 bootloader and modem. Flash the stock 5.1.1 before flashing this.

It'd be awesome if we could get a version of this for the 915T, last version of RR to be built for our phone was the 5.1.1 one. Might try this anyway and see if my radio blobs are all that's needed.

Used RR a lot on Nexus 5, was great on it. Not sure if it's worth it on edge phones. Why give up Edge when you paid premium for it. Also the 3rd party s pen application is Uglyyyyyy, so ugly and dumb that it no longer feels like a highly smart pen.
In my opinion I would have RR'ed the crap out of Note 5 port and make it sweet. Currently using MM6.0.1 with root, sick of all other roms(not that there are many lol).

You are right that there will never be a better "edge" than the stock one at present. However, some people may just want other options. Besides, you never know when a developer is going to come up with something pretty spectacular, like a new way to use the "edge". Either way, the great thing about Android is it is like ice cream. There are so many flavors, and everyone has their own favorite, so nobody's choice to use one rom or the other is "wrong".
Also, xNNism does not mean that it does not work, he is saying his is physically broken.

I flashed ashwin's cm13 and supersu 2.66 and selinux was on permissive. I think if you flash that supersu on this rom will happen the same thing.

the ROM now doesn't support SELinux enforcing and we need more modification to make it work.
the only problem for SELinux permissive is that the phone is not that secure. in fact, we have an unlocked bootloader so we are not secure at all.
Simply speaking, we don't need to enforce selinux

1. No sound after dialing. You need to switch to speakerphone to reach sound (on speaker/handset). In this case, phone still work, without problems, until:
2. No sound when answering call, and other side, can't listen. After 1 second or so, phone hangs.
3. WiFi bootloop.
For "2." & "3." I can't provide locat.

Please provide a proper logcat using " adb logcat -d -> logcat.txt "
And I'm working on theWifi fix, will try to fix the call issue asap.

Logcat readed The rom have provided build 2 which fix the wifi and gps

I wanted to know, always if possible, if you are managing to solve this important bug or at least at what point is the FIX
I'm not interested in a possible ETA, because I know that bugs are not solved in 5 minutes, but there's a lot of work to do ...

Calling is working well and good, only the speaker function is not working .

I wanted to let you know that the Gapps do not work
When I install the architecture ARM - 8.1 - Pico, the phone always puts me in the following "Google Play service has stopped" it becomes quite annoying
The Google Play Store also following this, when I open it redirects me to the connection of a google account for the device but also the loading is infinite
what's keeping me from logging in
The installation of Gapps activates in the parameter "Configuration of Google Pixel" but also when I validate it puts me "search for update" and its charge to infinity.
I have already tried to get by but most of the applications need Google Services to work it's a shame: '(
Apart from, after the instalation of the ROM I discovered that the ROM did not have a basic internet browser (require to transfer the APK from a computer)
- (Small + sorry for the critics, it misses the possibility of fussing the memory of the system with an SD card, but it is not a priority I understand it)
Thanks to the developer for their huge work and to make it support the largest number of phone is his pleasure

Try using Arm 8.1 nano, I have been testing it since then and there's no problem with the playstore if you want I can send you the screenshots.
It does show the configuration for SM-A510 too.
Till now no tester have reported for this error too so may be your installation fault.
Try downloading the build 2 from the link provided. Make a clean installation.
#Install the zip and gapps at the same time.
And if you want to report a bug please send me a logcat.

Use soundabout app to fix headphone jack issue

it doesn't detect the SIM card

i have a fix i will upload a fix u need to replace the file via root explorer

Not working:
1) 3G not working, only Edge. (on SIM2 slot)
2) GPS.

You can use magisk on this ROM.
You can reconfigure your home hw button from venom(although you can't customize the menu hw button)
For backlight,use capacitive buttons app or similar apps

Answer: no you dont need to just flash rom and then gapps and magisk if you want root and reboot

Answer: Headphones do work but idk about auto rotation as i dont need it much but im still finding a solution -_-

Hey GPS Works in every nougat rom. Actually it wasn't connecting with google maps in my house. Outside it works flawlessly with google maps in every nougat rom. But for some third party apps it's not connecting. For example Ola app etc. So GPS is working with google maps & many apps but not for some third party apps. I tested it clearly.

Updated the FAQ section with gps fix
and if you see that your hotspot doesnt work then flash a$$ kernel v2 to fix it (credits to @dankie and @fushinari )

There is another bug i found.. Phone nevr goes to complete switch off state...i switched on the flash and powerd of the phone..but never flash get off until i removed the battery
