Everybody who uses the Klyde Dab box know about this ugly DAB app which is provided by Pumpkin/Klyde. After i saw @Oberbergler s modded app. i started to mod it a little bit different. i changed the DAB Pic, the wallpaper, changed the icon backgrounds and text sizes. The Big Deal for me is that i change the RDS Text in one line and make it scrolling!

hi this is for Pumpkin dab solution rear. If you need joying, i have modded their app a little bit too ( Dab-icon changed and wallpaper)

take a look at the original design and then to the pic above. The RDS Text is now one line and is scrolling. i made it for me because i didn´t like the original style.
Are there any updates or other versions of the klyde dab app that are worth looking at, in your opinion?
@roscored1000 There is a so called Version 2.0 but this one isnt really working. modded versions i know only oberbergler version which is the base of my app. It seems no one care about the dab app ....

I have seen bad quality photos of a version that looked like it had the favourite presets along the bottom of the screen. Is that an earlier version? or just a different version? Is it worth looking at, stable etc? Thanks I have no skills at modding software so am indebted to those who have the skills to do that.

Unfortunatetly this the first version of the dab app and is not working good(most of the stations are missing after scan).
I have not really skills in modding, i have tried to bring the buttons for all stations and favourites to the first side button bar. Well the buttons are here now and are clickable but nothing happens. Some guys who have experience with android programming should help here, but it seems just a few users of dab with skills are here....
Hey still you should feel proud of what you have done so far, right? You have skills. I am trying to work out to get the top status bar on to the bottom or left side of the screen so I can see it easily.
Great! I might try it after I buy a new antenna. I removed the windscreen antenna and tried a antenna spltter that hardly was any better. There's so much they can improve with the DAB app in my opinion. At least the Joying DAB shows the picture of the station.
I use a roof antenna and the reception is very good. I live in a highland area by the way...

BeMario - Jump like Super Mario enables you to jump like the good old 8-Bit Super Mario. Every time you Jump the "Jump" or "Coin" Sound is playing.

Brilliant idea....
For some reason it says that my version of the .net framework is too old. I have a Sprint Touch Pro. I wonder why - are they bundling old software with it?
Well, I do not know how to paint and painting is quite expensive to me, so i covered my Blue Angel with a layer of color paper (some kind of paper, I do not know what it is called in English).
Not really as perfect as painting but it is still good and cheap (just a little bit more than $1 in my country if you have to pay someone to do it for you) and fast (around 5 minutes or less).

I did install some cabs i found on this forum (edited one that change the startmenu) and made one cab to change the titanium screen.
I can cook it for anyone who need it because the cabs i used are quite easy to be used for cooking . However, since I did it for my own purpose, I did a full backup to save time (I still have to make a backup if I flash a cooked ROM as I have many things on this device)

I do and it looks great with the paper coat that you put on the BA. My BA looks like it was hit by a bus at this point in time . If I had to call mine anything, it would be a BUBA (Beat Up Blue Angel)

On the top left of the page you will see User CP. Click on it and check the side pannel. Play with it a bit and you will get it eventually.

Inspired by the Wuvuzela app (and possibly by the announcement of Portal 2 at E3), I've developed a simple little application that allows you to blow into your phone's microphone to blow out candles on a cake.
The options screen, displayed before running the app, now allows you to Calibrate your device's microphone. Simply touch "Calibrate", press OK, and blow into your phones mic until told to stop. The minimum decibels needed blow out the candles are now set to your current environment.
You can also enable the tune, which will play the Happy birthday tune after blowing out the candles.
Finally, you can change the preset message to something more personal, such as "Happy Birthday, Michele!"

-Blow out candles with your phones mic
-Custom birthday message
-Calibrated to your environment
-New, prettier birthday cake
-Happy birthday tune played in the background
Tested and working on my HTC HD2, but should work on other devices as well.

That's strange, I suppose the app can't get a hold on your devices microphone. Again, it's only been tested on the HD2.

If I may give my input
I think this application is useless, however many people like useless applications. To be quite honest, I think If you added the happy birthday song within the app that could be played on demand, that would create a much higher demand for it. I know there have been times when its someones birthday and I wish I could play the birthday song..... If this idea intrigues you let me know when you add it so I can be the first to test it out.... seems pretty simple....Good luck

I just upgraded to the new Google Maps 5.0. I don't see anything different. I dont see the compass or any of the two finger swiping stuff. I'm on Android 2.1 stock. Are certain features only available on Froyo etc?

I'm using elelinux 2.2 (froyo) and if u go to Manhattan for example and zoom in you see 3d-models of the buildings (street map).
The 2-finger-rotation is not working for me either

Mine doesn't even seem to do the vector smooth zooming. It's still blocky when you zoom in like in the old one. What's going on?

I've got them too, I just cant angle it using 2 fingers down the screen
It's not region-locked. I'm in the UK and my mate has a Desire HD and can do two-finger rotation easily on Google Maps 5 (Sense/Android 2.2), not sure about 3D Buildings though (maybe only in San Francisco), maybe it's locked to devices that don't have a high enough graphics/processing power?
EDIT: Saying that, it doesn't work for me either. Both on RCMix2.2b (Sense/Android 2.1) and FroydVillain 1.7.2.
Nothing for me either. Wasn't expecting 3D but at least the vectors would be nice. I guess they just put a bar on hardware and said "below this and we just don't give a shoot about any of the features. buy new hardware ffs you'r fone is like a year old c'mon get with the program!"

How do you enable it? from the menu? You have the GSM Hero? What ROM are you running? etc etc

Um.. And are running a lightwieght version of FroydVillain, I've also got the new market if thats makes a difference and simply updated maps earlier today, and when ever I zoom in close on a city.. Tada 3d buildings appear

My hero has 3d buildings, in another topic someone suggests installing the latest street view to get it working, not sure what that has to do with anything. But i did it and it seems to have worked. For me unless I've gone over the screen in a certain zoom and do this multiple times the map won't zoom seemlessly. I am in China and I got the google maps 5.0 from xda. Running stock 2.1
3D buildings have been available in Google Maps for ages now. 5.0 adds the ability to tilt and turn them round. The Hero doesn't appear to allow either of these.
I'm using Cronos (Eclair) and 3d buildings are working ..
Slide down the screen with two fingers is working, not rotation.

I can confirm that it works just fine on my original Transformer (TF101), so it should work on additional tablets running Honeycomb (3.1.x) or later.

The minimum supported API version equates to Android 2.2. It might work, but it probably won't be optimal due to resource requirements for the tablet sized images.

There were folks with that same issue using the original MyWater on some devices. When I get some free time, I'll see if anything can be done to correct it

M an HD2 user and have been able to apply all your modded ASUS live wallpapers without any issue. This one too works but having the same issue - hollow block for whale. Hopefully, you can provide us a fix. In case, not possible, at least if you can guide me to remove that block. I can be happy with even without the whale, since the scenery itself look gorgeous....

No... charging bubbles are just fine and shown properly. The white block is only for whale. Rotation is also working without any issues.
Installed on my ATrix4g. But when I go to look at it or apply it as wallpaper, it force closes. same thing happened on other APK or widgets I pulled from prime rom dump.

Also, just figured out that clicking on the settings button force closes this wallpaper (at least in my case). No big deal, since it could be just the option of "Enable/Disable Water Rotation", which is anyway Enable by default. Just keeping you posted.
It does work on my TF but the water does not react as fluid to movement as with the other Water Live wallpaper that you made.

Did you try both of the available options under settings?
I really didn't "make" the wallpaper. I simply pulled it from a system dump, deodexed it, signed it, zip aligned it, and shared it here. I do plan on tinkering with it a bit when I have some free time.
Yes, I tried both settings. But the water does not moves smooth.
But you did 'made' the Rubber Duckie Live wallpaper?! That and
No-Go on the Sensation. Everything loads and looks great for a good 3 seconds and then FC.
But thanks. No biggie. Just going to wait for the Prime to actually sell so I can buy one. LOL
